They host poker that starts at 7pm and finishes at 1130 pm, not giving enough time for a full game with how deep the stacks are. It ruins the flow of the game and makes playing final table a gamble. They need to start it an hour earlier or turn it into a turbo structure since I cannot recommend this game to anyone unless you want it as a social event instead of playing poker.

I have travelled all around Australia and I have never been given such a dishonourable exclusion or abysmal service. The staff are DISGUSTING but JACK is the most valuable employee they have. Jack has charisma and potential to go very far. The rest of the staff decided to pour half of my husband's drink on him while removing us from the smoking area which was completely vacant apart from telling us to move inside to a place we couldn't smoke or be outdoors where we couldn't be free to enjoy our social activities. My husband and I love to converse and we don't like to inconvenience anybody else with our expression. When asked to be move, we had no issue but we're treated like criminals. After enjoy our two drinks after work, their manager and employee of the bar who I refuse to mention to name of, cleared our drinks while rambling at us and pouring our drinks over us to which they expressed, "we're not kicking you out" which we exclaimed "of course not, we've had one drink and your poured the other all over us" which they replied "all good we didn't mean to, just buy another one". I will not be returning for their special meals or otherwise. Jack should be given a pay rise just due to the fact how he's been ridden. I give Jack 10/10 but as a member of this club, I will not be returning ever! Should treat your local customers better. Not just your gamblers, if you know what I am saying. Good hospitality makes money, poker machine makes revenue. Don't be an idiot.

I came back to Kingswood on Saturday last week. Had a lovely night. Joined the next day. Did social bowls on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday. Spent hundreds at the bar/bistro.

Tonight? Pretty tired but happy to be there. Tiffany cut me off. Because I was happy and chatty.

Tiffany, I don't judge. But you definitely need some professional development and a LOT of work on your judgement for RSA.

I now am excluded for 24hrs. I will comply. That's about $200 AUD going to other hospitality venues in the area.

UPDATE: Wed 20 Nov 2024. Fully eight weeks after I last set foot in Kingswood or the KSC, I tumbled into town after a fairly harrowing 72 days on the road, driving 2.5 times from Adelaide to the east to the west coast, elated I'd reunited with my son, mourning the death of a colleague and friend, walked into the club and was handed a letter issued but not sent four weeks earlier saying I was not welcome in any East's Group Club due to 'unacceptable behaviour'. Thing is, morning after alleged but not named behaviour (these clowns have never heard of natural justice), I happily entered the club, had two coffees, a toastie, bantered with the staff, watched the bowls, booked a table for the band, ducked home where I suffered the delayed after effects of bad fall the night before on t'other side of the tracks, came back later to the club, collected some gear I'd left there, had a soda water - and not a word said. Four weeks later, the staff handed me a 'you're gawn' letter from a massive, huge stack of similar letters.

Since then I've read similar reviews and spoken to people who've received similar bizarre bans. What a bunch of co... Roosters. What a bunch of roosters.

Terrific place with great food, cold beer and extremely friendly service. Highly recommend

I ordered but waited for 1hr and 24mins for our 2 meals.
4 people out of our group ordered garlic bread but only 1 got it as they took so long to serve us that they ran out of garlic bread.
We had a booking for a 40th birthday and we all ordered one after another yet we were served an hour between the first to the last meal. One of our group was given the wrong meal and was offered.to reorder but we didnt want to wait another hour for a hamburger.I will not be going back to eat again as the food was average, way over priced and actual service was so so poor.
