We enjoyed their atmosphere, customer service, live music and the food. The pasta was bit saucious but still good taste! We would come back!

New to the area so decided to check out this club with my partner and in-laws. The staff checking us in were friendly and efficient. The venue looked nice and inviting. Had yum cha at the Chinese restaurant (The Pearl Eating House) but unfortunately the service was not great.

Huge clubhouse coffee shop. Very new and nice. Strong coffee and very tasty. Green tea with jasmine flavour made my day. Saw reasonable price for lunch, will try next time.

Update 2024: The Blake St Kitchen cafe has been replaced by Railway Pde restaurant, which I wouldn't recommend. The food was underwhelming and expensive. They also cut down the breakfast menu, which now consists of only pre-made pastries.

2021: Overall, Kogarah clubhouse is a perfect place for hangouts, food, drinks, and entertainment. You can enjoy delicious Hong Kong cuisine and yum cha The Pearl.

What a gem of a place to explore with family and friends! It's impressively clean, and there's this intriguing scent lingering in the air that adds to the atmosphere. I decided to pay a visit on a Monday, all in for those Pork Ribs. Let me tell you, they were more than delicious. And that Sticky Date dessert? Oh, it hit the sweet spot perfectly. As for the Amaretto Sour, it was spot on.

I genuinely had a fantastic time there. Now, here's the scoop: to unlock some pretty awesome food and drink deals, you'll need to sign up for a membership, which only costs between 3 to 7 dollars, depending on how long you want it. Trust me, it's money well spent! ????

Enjoyed a casual Friday night dinner with the family here. Food was very generous portions, fresh and tasty. We enjoyed the beer battered fish and chips and chicken schnitzel very much.
Staff are always friendly and the live music was pretty good too.
Highly recommend ??'?

I found the club small, the decor is nice & modern, staff are very welcoming, we had dinner in the bistro. The menu was too over priced (not everyone wants to be a member of a club to get a couple of dollar off, this is so annoying!) the food was ordinary, lemon lime & bitters was out of a cordial bottle (ugh). Seriously it's cheaper to go to the pub than this venue, best part was there was live music playing, bring back live music at every pub!

Appears to be very popular for yum cha. Chinese cuisine- tasty but I cannot tell you the prices as a friend paid! Not sure about the parking - no clear directions how to get into the underground parking, which spots can be used as there are residential parking bays as well. Need a member card to get in, I think.

Had a family function at Kogarah Clubhouse recently. Very nice smaller function room for up to 30 people, food was delicious & Sharon (the manager) was very friendly and helpful.

This is our local club.
2nd time I have been here and has not disappointed. Food is nice, you get what you pay for and drinks are good too. Prices for drinks are bit on the expensive side but other than that it's a good place for family and all. I had the schnitzel and vegies with Mexican and my mum had prawn linguine. It was vey yum and we were both very full from our meal.

Came here on footy night and to take advantage of their $13 burger & beer special. Great atmosphere although probably not the best for watching the footy as sound is switched off. The club seems made for a more family friendly environment. The cheeseburger was ordinary. The meat patty tasted like it had been heated from frozen and was thin and overcooked. Additionally it was over a half hour wait to receive our food. Would probably not go there for food in the future but a nice venue for a drink.

I went to kogarah clubhouse for dinner with the family last night for the first time since its renovations/upgrades. Tasty cocktails and our meals were great - chicken curry was surprisingly delicious for a pub meal! Schnitzel was also good and the staff were very friendly. Great local!

I never post Google reviews but I feel that have to for this cafe because of the TERRIBLE SERVICE and LACK OF PROFESSIONALISM I experienced today.

I drove past Blake Street Kitchen this morning so decided to stop for breakfast. I ordered some food and I remembered that I had received a free drinks voucher a few days ago. When I tried to use my voucher on a coffee, the lady who served me said loudly "oh no we're not accepting vouchers right now due to the pandemic so can't be giving away free things." I was confused because I had received the voucher only a few days ago but I decided that I'll just wait for my food and leave. But then she proceeded to loudly ask every staff member who came in "we're not giving away free things are we? We're losing money and this lady is trying to get a free coffee." This was said in front of other customers waiting for their orders.

Then, when her boss came in, she repeated the same question. Her boss replied that they were still doing free coffees because it was the Clubhouse's decision to. So the server turned back to me and said "fine. So what would you like for your FREE coffee?"

By this point I was already speechless and beyond embarrassed. I was very tempted to say "I don't want your stupid free coffee anymore" but I didn't want to make a scene. So I just ordered a cap. She then turned to the barista and said "a cap please, make it SMALL." I then waited a full 10 minutes, with both the server and the barista forgetting my order TWICE while making every other customer's order. How do you forget the most basic coffee order twice? It was as if they were intentionally trying to make me feel bad because I was using a voucher.

This is by far the worst service I have ever experienced with a cafe and I buy from cafes almost every day. I felt embarrassed, humiliated and insulted. How are you going to give out free drinks vouchers - which, may I add, is a marketing tool to get customers in the door to buy other items - then proceed to shame the customers who try to redeem those vouchers? I understand that the pandemic has made it more difficult for cafes to earn a profit. However, you willingly send members these vouchers, and they are used to attract sales. Further, it's not like I only went in for the free coffee. I spent money on the (overpriced) food too.

The way in which I was treated today was ridiculous and extremely unprofessional. I used to visit this cafe regularly before the lockdown because of its convenient opening hours and nice interior, but I'll never set foot here again.

This is our go to local gem. Been here a few times and always a good experience. Amazing daily specials and also a good selection of local and more 'crafty' beers on tap. For the most part their staff are very friendly, but you do get the odd ones who could maybe benefit from a bit more training.

Came for a casual dinner with my partner as we were driving past in the area.Entrees came nice and early however my mains did not arrive past an hour. Out of courtesy Went to ask the bistro waiters what was the ETA of the steaks. Was told the kitchen staff had lost the dockets. They compensated by jotting down our order again and cook right away. They also offered a free soft drink. No presence of a manager. Not good enough response by Management and staff.1 hour and half for 2 medium rare steaks.Mistakes happen thats life but no real sense of resolving an issue from staff.

Paris the chef in the bistro is amazing. We had a beef pie and lamb shank and it was gorgeous.Try those two meals and you will be happy. The burgers that went past looked so delicious. Also can get a drink from the bar. What's not to love.
