Kurnell Recreation Club, Kurnell NSW

Located at 160 Captain Cook Drive, Kurnell, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺, this is a fantastic little club in Kurnell. I wish I had known about it before today. The menu is predominantly Chinese food (Lucky Me - My favourite) and the food is absolutely delicious. I had the Thai Chilli King Prawns and Fried Rice and it was scrumptious. The staff were wonderful and very courteous. The club is wheelchair accessible which was good for our group and the toilets are very good. The parking is street parking, no car park. The seating outside is really lovely, especially on a sunny day. We came for lunch and sat outside and it was lovely, very comfortable and the umbrellas over the tables provided shade from the sun if needed. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend 😀😊 Thumbs up from me 😀😀😀

Pretty cool little club for an afternoon beer & family friendly, would have got a 5 from me if I didn't have the most awkward encounter iv had at a pub!
I got a schooner of northern which was flat, took it up and was confirmed flat as there was no gas left, I got another northern from the inside bar which was also flat (not quite as flat but had to have been very low gas) I had to then take it upto the bar again which I really didn't want to do nor have I ever done this in my life, the bar tender (lady) was more defensive and combative in the situation then needed/then the other guy which was more relaxed hopped in, they sorta talked at me then to me Re: the flat beer assuring me it's not flat however it definitely was or they've reduced the gas behind the bars to save money on gas. Then a 3rd staff came in the bar and just stood back watching the other 2 talk at me, meanwhile a guy next to me was waiting to be served and instead of serving him he then just had to watch all 3 staff stare/talk to me when all I wanted to do was just leave as I wasn't too stressed I just wanted them to be aware, anyways long story short I didn't finish my flat beer or get it replaced as I was assured that light beer should taste like that! (Flat?) just the most awkward situation iv ever had in customer service, I am unsure what training is received here for these types of situations especially when me the customer was really calm and polite, it's so so strange to reflect on... I recommend bottled beer here and you'll have a good time.

Happy place to go for a quiet friendly drink or two. Staff are fabulous and make you feel so welcome, Endeavour Chinese has the BEST Chinese food at very affordable prices and Steven will always greet us with a huge welcoming smile. Regular patrons give us a great welcome and we truly do feel part of the Reccas family.
