Wonderful Venue For Event.
We recently held a 40th birthday at Club Lake Cathie and could not be happier. The entire experience from booking the function room to ordering food and setting up the decorations etc was seamless. The event coordinator was excellent and a wonderful communicator. She was accessible throughout the entire evening for any assistance we needed. The bar staff and employees on the night were extremely professional, welcoming, and above all, friendly and engaging. The food was phenomenal and excellent value for money with a range of different options/packages available. It was presented beautifully and the quality and taste of the food was spectacular. Many of our guests commented on how great the food was. The bistro staff were wonderful, professional and ready to assist with anything we needed. The whole event experience was flawless non stressful and professional. I look forward to booking my next event with Club Lake Cathie.

Had a steak sandwich, which was more like a kids meal, for $22 could be bigger than half my hand. It was a minute steak cut into two pieces, over cooked with a handful of chips. Way over priced!!! Will not be going back. Will be going to Lake Cathie tavern from now on at least you leave satisfied.

Way above average meal with drink, great friendly service. Then the whole room rocked through three hours of solid entertainment from Blues Brothers Rebooted plus one. Top night out, all round for $65. Looking good Club Lake Cathie!

I went here for NYE and saw a lady leave with an open drink which I know is against RSA. I also saw locals picking on a couple that were from out of town. They were having a discussion in private and locals were swearing at them telling them to go back to Sydney with profanities. Instead of kicking out the locals misbehaving they picked on the couple and asked them to leave. I have never seen anything like it and hope to never see it again. Absolutely pathetic behaviour and have seen more intoxicated couples than the ones who were asked to leave tonight. Complete irresponsibility and I hope the management review their bar staff. On a positive note the bistro had wonderful food.

Had a meal a week ago with husband at this great local Bowling club.
Great selection of dishes, at very reasonable prices. Bar prices also best in Port Macquarie.
Efficient and friendly staff.
Raffles and entertainment also included. Will definitely be returning.

Very scrumptious dinner. Tasty meal, prompt service with a smile, comfortable seats, beautiful outlook towards Lake seeing the sunset.
Great choice of meals. Friendly chef. Went back a couple of times and menu choices decreasing.
The last time on Thursday evening 2/11/23 ordered 2x market fish of day. Rather than cooked according to the menu, offered 2 sides off menu and a sauce. The sides seemed like a cheaper version and sauces to select not like the special sauce on offer.
Asked for veg and sweet potato chips. The meal came with normal very salty chips and veg, half cold. Charged $34, same as if having the upmarket fish of day.
Very disappointed and won't be back as over charged for a cheap substitute meal.

A very good day at the Ladies 4s carnival. Well organised and a friendly club. The whole day was played in good spirits.

Great little club, food is delicious, my only criticism is only a small one is that it's hard to dance on carpet.

Walking into club reminded me of the early 70's. A few poker machines, bar and restaurant/ cafe. Limited menu - Chinese food, there was a steak on offer but over priced...while staff were attentive the club is in need of a better menu suited to everyone. Not everyone likes or can tolerate Chinese cuisine.

Staff are super friendly, great live music on weekends and The Waterview Restaurant is an absolute hidden gem! Great Chinese & Vietnamese menu!!! Worth trying!!

Visited from down the coast. Won the raffle and a bottle of wine. Good meal and good company.

Great little club and the best greens for miles

Seems like a great little club in a nice quiet location by the seaside. I was only here for work and not for pleasure but the staff seemed genuine and friendly. Somewhere I think I'll keep in mind next time we're looking for a quiet family outing for a lunch or dinner.

Great country club and course. Good value for money and the place gets packed for dinner.
