We had a great time. The food was lovely. The place was clean and inviting.

We had a booking for 30-40 people on Saturday evening. Finger food had been ordered and we were expecting a small to moderate amount for each person. The food arrived and then came more and more and it still kept being delivered. All of it was great, hot and fresh. The stall were all very friendly and helpful when asked anything. The evening was great. Thanks to all staff, you did a great job.

We stop for lunch on our way home from lakes entrance to Melbourne. So glad we did this place is fantastic.

The people who work here are the best. Nice and friendly will do anything for you. The food is fantastic and at a good price.

Out little local favourite, that delivers a relaxing atmosphere, nice food and cold beer. We love Tuesday nights crackerjack night at the bowls club, followed by the $20 pot and Parma.

Excellent menu short wait time served by efficient and pleasant staff. An over refreshed group made quite a noise. Nevertheless it was a very nice experience. Will be back. Phil Goodman

The meal was passable. The chips were on the burnt side. But everyone else's chips were cooked perfectly.

What a Gem. Plenty of parking. We had a baby and were seated in a room with other families. There was a function event in the main dining area so that suited us very well.

The meals were delicious. We had the bruschetta it was very nice. My daughter had the Porterhouse steak and it was cooked to perfection. I had the Thai Beef salad and it was delicious. The main meals are very large and I couldn't finish mine.

We dined early, eating at 6pm but feel this was a good time as we had our meals before the function patrons arrived. I totally recommend this club. We will be going back on our next trip.

This place was really busy, but we got a table in the bistro. Great large meals and reasonable priced bar. Would return.

Went in for a quick lunch, went for the chicken, bacon and avocado on turkish bread, was only $12 or $14 and came with a side sweet potato fries, I had trouble getting through it, was absolutely packed full and was terrific, will return for sure.
Wife had the souvlaki and was impressed.

I had dinner with my family and enjoyed the night. The menu has a good variety of meals to choose from. I had the crumbed lamb cutlets with mashed potatoes and vegetables. My meal was delicious. The veggies were freshly cooked, not the frozen reheated type which some bistro's serve. The lamb cutlets were tender and very tasty.

Decided to try the Lakeside Club in Sale Victoria for lunch
We had the roast beef and vegetables and the grilled fish and chips with the bruschetta as a starter
The roast was good and the bruschetta was good
I didn't think much of the grilled fish as it was coated with something maybe flour. I expected salad with it but did not get any ( I probably should have read the menu properly) and I didn't think much of their unpeeled chips. The oil it was cooked in looked like needed changing but other than that it was ok

It was our first time in sale and we had booked for a group of 10 including kids. When we arrived we were all put on high stools in the bar/tab area with all the TV screens with dog racing etc and not allowed to sit in the dining area even though it was empty. So was not what we expected . It was not anything like the online photos. Food was cold. Staff were friendly. We won't be back here or to Sale again.

Very busy last night. This is a popular Sunday night dinner venue for local families. The kitchen was understaffed and overworked so we waited an hour for the meal, but they still produced a fantastic meal. Perfectly cooked Porterhouse for me, calamari and prawns for mum. The service staff did their job brilliantly. The venue is light, spacious and clean.

Well were do I start fish come out like 3 chicken nuggets on the plate chips not seasoned would not have paid $19 for it if I new what it was going to be like would not have even bothered....roast was chewy bland and veg was still hard and raw ...kids menu more value for money then adults

Meal was extremely basic for the price, very small serves, salad consisted of only lettuce and coleslaw. Cutlets were not only tiny but were starting to go off (sour).

Had dinner with a good friend. It was a bit confusing at first as there was a lot happening but we waited to be seated and was informed that kitchen will open for dinner orders by 5:30pm. You order drinks at the bar and food at the counter near the dining area. I had the BBQ Bourbon Ribs and it was so, so good. The meat was soft and separate easy off the bone and the sauce is so good. Waffle chips are so good as well. Food is good, ambiance is great ??'?

Ordered a meal takeaway from here. Was told it would be 50 minutes. No worries. Go down the street, come back 45 minutes later and my meal was already there ... had been for quite a while as the box the food was in was damp and everything was stone cold.
After heating it up I can say the lamb cutlets were delicious, as was the gravy. The veggies, not so great.

May give them another go based solely on those cutlets but I won't be rushing back.

Food was fabulous, staff were put under the gun with 4 birthday parties on the one night and still got my food quicker than time given. Had the Thai green curry, it was absolutely delicious.

It was ok, has an outside area with live music some days, you have to order inside, food and drinks separate. As first time it was a bit confusing. Lots of people, eating, drinking, watching the game, playing, etc. A lot going on. Friendly staff and good food options.

Exactly what I expected. Bistro meals. Reasonable prices, good selection of food. Kids menu. Kids play area. Fast and friendly services. Gets busy quick. The roast dinner was perfect.

A great family-friendly bistro with play area and outdoor spaces with access to bare foot bowling. The menu is what you'd expect and good value for money. The staff are lovely. Definitely worth a visit if you haven't been before and considering for your events.

Maybe they had a bad night when we went. Veggies way overcooked and mushy, chicken overcooked and dry. Bit disappointed at how tightly packed in you are...no way is the seating meeting covid requirements!

First time experience, won't be the last! Great staff, great food and nice warm atmosphere.

Had the sweet and sour pork... pork was so tough and chewy. Couldn't cut it. Told the waiter. The best they would do for me was a $10 voucher. The meal cost $26.Will never go back..

GREAT PLACE to eat and have a drink. I cannot say enough good words about the Lakeside Club. We went there on an overnight stay in Sale and found the facilities, the food and especially the staff brilliant. We could only get a table outside and the staff came out twice to find either a better location for us or to move the gas heaters around. The bar staff were brilliant and very engaging. The food was really excellent. No wonder it is full

Very welcoming and helpful staff. We ordered the waffle chips, Parma and the southern style chicken burger. All 3 choices were spot on. Highly recommend!
