What a charming place! I went to meet some friends for dinner and was delightfully surprised. The atmosphere was welcoming. The seating was comfy, and the dining room spacious. The concierge greeted us with a happy smile and was helpful. Shhhh, even the toilets were clean and user-friendly.

Was invited by friends for dinner and had the worst experience. We ordered our food right after our friends. Their food came out fairly quickly, 10mins. People who ordered who were 2 and 3 groups behind us were receiving their food and we still had not recieved ours. When we asked Mark the On Duty Manager about it he was not helpful and there was just a total lack of accountability and basically no answer as to why our food took so long. Do not recommend this place at all.

Part of the wests group, new updated facility, very open design. Food is generally good and reasonably priced, normally quite, no need to book a table or anything.
Will be better once they finish the parking updates.
They hold raffles, ham, toy ones and others all seasonal and changing. Also poker a few nights a week as well run by APL.

My wife and I just had our wedding here last night and WOW was it amazing and so much more then we expected.
Let's start right from the beginning, we met Karina and she showed us the venue and all the inclusions and we both fell in love with the venue but also with Karina, she was so organised and prepared and any questions we had she answered straight away and she was just so genuine, my wife and I walked out the doors, had a quick chat, turned around and signed the papers to book straight away.
From that point till the very end of our reception, not only was the venue amazing but Karina really went above and beyond our expectations and made everything so special and easy. She was always accomodating to us with our many annoying emails during the planning. We had a fantastic night all thanks to Karina and the venue staff.
Could not recommend Karina and Lakeside Gold Club enough, you will not be left disappointed

Sweet selection to have with coffee could be better. Some don't always seem fresh. No cream or ice cream offered with cake, slices etc. Sandwich I had was cold and dried out. Meals and servings are good. Otherwise atmosphere good, Bar Staff friendly.

Good club for catching up with mates and family for a nice feed, few cold ones and coffee. Great coffee and cakes available at Bunkers Bistro. Highly recommended.

Had a family dinner here in the week. Nice set up...but absolutely dead no vibe. Service was disappointing, menu lacking in options and the food was substandard.

Had lunch at Lakeside today (14.6.23) very ordinary!! I had Caesar salad and some of my lettuce was brown, not alot a dressing. Hubby had the newly added Chicken and leek pie.... alot of sauce not alot of chicken. This place used to to be the best. Had a fabulous meat pie a couple of months ago ....mentioned it ... reaction oh we wont be doing that again ???"???"???"

Hidden gem. Great course and great value. The renovations are great additions and the club house is great for a post round drink and meal. Friendly staff and members.

First time going here for a family dinner (Wednesday 26/4/23) and I'm unsure if I'd return. Arriving after dark I found the carpark confusing to navigate with all the construction fencing and poor lighting in the carpark makes it feel eerie. I circled a couple of times until I realised I had to drive up on the dirt at the back of the carpark to drive around to the carpark area close enough to the building entrance where it wasn't so dark and eerie. Despite only a few patrons dining, we waited almost an hour for the food after ordering. I ordered a medium-rare steak which was instead cooked well-done, I'm glad it came with gravy because it was quite dry. My sister ordered the burger and her beef patty was so over cooked she likened it to a hockey puck. The salad and chips were quite nice though and my brother enjoyed his nachos. I give 2 stars because staff seemed professional and friendly. We decided against returning our meals to the kitchen because we were time pressed and didn't want to risk waiting another hour. The chef/s need to ease up on cooking times so food isn't overcooked.

I caught up with long-time friends in the school holidays. It was a quiet, relaxing, and friendly atmosphere with the perfect view of a beautiful green golf course. I highly recommend this excellent place for reuniting with special people. We will definitely do it again.

Went for dinner ordered 3 steaks, all the meals were cold, the steak the chips and the sauce was barely luke warm, disappointing. First and last time going there. Serving size was decent amd price was slightly pricey but not too bad

Course still in great condition despite development going on all around. Longish walk between holes so cart preferred. Lovely club afterwards for a schooner or two. Recommended for golfers, not beginners.

Such a nice place if they had better staff. The manger Ronny and worker Rita are so rude , I think they need to get a job without human interaction . She always has something smart to say along with the side kick manager that sits in the poker machine area worrying about what people do . I know many people have stopped going to the club for that reason. Maybe they should worry about keeping busy and minding their own business. OVERALL CLUB IS NICE BUT DOWN RUDE STAFF?

Although the club is still a building site the actual club premises is very upmarket. The dining area is well laid out with spacious seating.
The menu is reasonable and the pricing is also reasonable.
The staff are quite courteous and efficient.
Can recommend as a lunch venue

first time back after 5 months. As previous 3 visits we had to send meals back that were too raw or cold. We assumed after 5 months should improve. But NO waited 1hr 40 for 2 salads when asked, they had lost the tickets. Asked for refund but instead they pushed meals out which was all lettuce. So order 6pm ate at 8pm. If we hadn't asked we would have still had been sitting there. Won't be back to eat

The BEST WEDDING VENUE and dream team vendors!!! We had our wedding here just a few days ago and we cannot fault them, Patricia and the Lakeside team were absolutely AMAZING to work with!!
Patricia is extremely organised, professional, accommodating and her really lovely personality made all the months of planning SO EASY and the actual day itself went so smoothly. She seriously went above and beyond and saved us tonnes of stress and we couldn't have asked for a better day and vendors who just nailed it. We went with many of their preferred vendors and are so happy we did, this also saved me so much time and made my life easier. We were so lucky to have beautiful sunny weather, the garden ceremony area looked beautiful and many of our guests said so too. The florals/styling made it so special and the reception room was gorgeous. Also, the food was so DELICIOUS. We're so grateful to Patricia and the Lakeside team for making our day absolutely perfect!!

The function room and garden area is amazing. The staff lovely and helpful.

Carpark is a nightmare to get to and from the venue due to building going on.

The food is absolutely terrible and most people didn't eat their meal as it was so bad.

If you want a great venue go here just avoid the food.

I used the Willow Room for my daughter's 2nd birthday and this is such an excellent venue. The staff were so accommodating and went above and beyond for any requests. Dealing with the event management was such a breeze due to their friendly nature. Thank you all so much! Highly recommended

The best conditioned golf course in the area.
Lakeside GC is a fantastic course layout. Upkeep of the course can't be faulted.
Staff in the Pro Shop aren't the most friendly, but that's sadly quite common in golf.

Clubhouse is lovely. Very elegant and cosy decor. Food is great.

2 stars deducted for the golf course being in temporary condition with greens cut on the fairways, yet still charging full price for a round. Ridiculous.

Great golf course, the highlight here is they a driving range infront of the clubhouse were you Can get your eye in before you tee off. The clubhouse is very nice, food, bar with indoor or outdoor dining.

Had a really good time at Lakeside with my good friends. We had a delicious dinner, a couple of drinks. Took our chances in the raffle. Staff are really friendly a good night had by all.

It was very relaxing. The food was good but could have been a bit hotter... I will go back again..

This place has a nice ambience and a calm and peaceful atmosphere. We had breakfast in the bunker cafe, the food was good and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly as well.

Excellent venue. Lovely outlook over manicured lawns and country club type atmosphere.Good selection of tasty meals including a kids menu with activities to keep them busy.

The course has been cut down so much it is now a Par 67, two par 5s turn into 2 par 4 and par 3 holes with some temporary greens at the middle of the fairway. Very disappointed to see such a nice course reduce to such a poor state with so much construction going on. The worst part, the pro shop staff didnt told us all these changes and still charge the same rate $65 per player include carts. Had I known this will definitely not come and play. The nearby Macquarie Links offers much better course and value for money. Will not come back again if the the course remains par 67.

Quiet place for a drink and meal with friends. The new extension has floor-to-ceiling glass walls with calming views over the golf course. Lunch specials for $10 are outstanding value. A real pleasure to visit.

Great golf course

Really friendly and professional Proshop. Callum was just great. Driving range was good but not great. The 4 new and not yet matured Holes (5-8) added an interesting perspective and they will be great when "fully in". went in the competition and it was ok for speed at 4.5. everyones seems to walk which was easy enough - good experience with some tricky greens and lots of run
