Located next Roselands Shopping Centre. There's free parking on the premise. The club is very clean and modern, child friendly. Place looks bigger on the inside than outside. Expectation of food is what you would get in a normal club setting, prices included.

We held an engagement party turned secret wedding at the Lantern club, Roselands, and even the rain didn't dampen the wonderful night, made possible by Brig and the team.

The venue is a hidden gem, and is just gorgeous lit up at night. The sandstone feature wall is stunning, and I was so pleased with how it all looked! The L shaped outdoor space and grass area ensured the event was relaxed and people could move freely. The team did a great job setting up the venue space for us, and helped us immensely with décor!

The team at the Lantern club were so kind, flexible and generous with their time! They were beyond brilliant. I am still receiving comments about their friendliness and the food... 5 star!! It was amazing! We chose a range of canapes and pizzas for the event, and I could not be happier with the food!

Brig, the event coordinator was unbelievable! Supportive, full of great ideas and suggestions and flexible with out budget. We wouldn't have wanted anyone else to help us ensure the wedding was a big surprise for our friends and family.

I couldn't recommend the club enough for any event!

Lantern was great! From being greeted at the entrance with a complimentary shot to warm the bones to the delicious meals and excellent table service.
My only critique would be the early closing of the kitchen for desert item and the limited cake selection, but in the overall experience didn't really make a dent.

What a relaxing , comfortable haven in the middle of busy southwest Sydney with exceptional service from the welcoming staff and food and cocktails to titillate tastebuds all whilst surrounded by stylish sophistication , very impressive .

First time dining here today and signing up as a member as it was public holiday labour day. The place is actually elegant, plenty of parking, bathroom/toilets are so nice and clean, food was great, excellent customer service! I've got 2 kids who were running around. My 1 year old son accidentally broke one of their utensil holder. We told one of the staff and she was so understanding and even asked us if anyone was hurt and be careful for the shattered pieces! They've also found my son's missing sock! My 4 year old daughter asked me for an ice cream and when we went to the counter they even offered the ice cream for free! I think the only improvement that we can suggest is it would be better if there is a mini playground for kids to play so they don't get bored. But other than that amazing experience will definitely come back ?

It's hit or miss, you've got to be lucky on any given day. For a club meal it's expensive, the food could be nice one day and bad the next its a gamble. The service is ok without being great, some things will come out fast others you'll be waiting and eternity, it's just to unpredictable and your paying a premium. The dining room is very nice however

Great lunch and really inexpensive. The lovely server Sophia was so friendly and took time out of her day to chat at our table and explained the history of the club.
The decor is definitely a step above your usual club fitout.
Will definitely be back

The food was beautiful generous serve and we were both really impressed with the beef BBQ glazed kebabs
And we had some amazing cocktails almost trying the whole list lol 3 each the expresso martini was my favourite and my daughters was English garden I think (very nice with elderflower liquer) , the staff were all amazing , service was amazing oh we shared dessert for starters, lemon and lime tart omfg bomb silky smooth perfection
Lol obviously we had a great night and will definitely return
I also have maybe 2 or 3 cocktails left to try

Food and atmosphere is good however they should have kept their lunch specials. It is too expensive for lunch with very limited choices. Pizza was not available so not too many other affordable choices for lunch . Disappointing!!

It's honesty just okay. The food is mediocre at best. I've gone to two of their customer feedback sessions, yet the majority of the people in those sessions have complained about the food, yet it remains disappointing. They've also voiced wanting more options like a daily roast. Again, our voices have been unheard. This is probably because they have sold the restaurant part of this place to another company, and these guys are really butchering the food. Food is a huge factor for any place, and if it isn't good the venue begins to lose money.

The new features and additions they have added are a nice touch. They have several new and old slot machines, which is why it got an additional star. I like that they have various choices of machines that you can play. The old machines are nostalgic and fun to play!

One complaint I have is that they don't offer free drinks like other places do. It's a move up a level on your card to be eligible for perks, such as free drinks, etc. I understand the concept, but even at silver and gold, there are no drinks. What does someone have to do at this establishment to get a cup of soft drink? Perhaps spend thousands of dollars?

When I go here, I spend hundreds of dollars at a time. The least they could do is offer free refreshments. Water, however, is free. The drinks used to be $1 for any soft drink, coffee, and tea, and now that has gone up, too.

Overall, it's an okay establishment it does have some work to do to be great.

I would not recommend anyone to do a function at the club,it was very sad to see the host running around
stressed,angry,sad whilst trying to keep all the complaining guests from leaving
It ruined a special event that is a life time memory for the family
It could have been dealt with and resolved easily but staff were just not trained to deal with the situation at hand and were running around as it seemed they were understaffed. The Catering company needs to learn how to run events especially manners when it comes to dealing with paying customers.
The bar staff were great, which was the only bonus.

I ordered the schnitzel at 12.45 pm on Thursday 20/10/2022 and I am sure the Chef did not want to be there. Schnitzel and Chips were badly over fried, the apple coleslaw was very warm and harsh taste. The whole meal is still repeating on me. I left the meal in the plate and left. So sorry for this review, but something needs to be done as I am a fully paid up member. Thank you Norman

Friendly staff who are attentive and smiling. Food was fresh and huge portions. Good value for your money here. It's relaxing, clean and modern. The pizzas here are great.
You know what? Life is great at the Lantern Club.

Kind friendly staff. Atmosphere ideal for group gatherings. Food not so good. I had the house fish and chips. Chips were fresh and crispy. The fish was grey, the white flesh absent the batter was overcooked and dripping with oil.
We chose this restaurant for our 6 weekly get together of cousins.
We are seriously thinking of changing.
Disappointing.

The later club is a great place for lunch. Built at a former lawn bowls club, the main area let's in lots of light and provides a very pleasant eating area. The food is good quality, the seats comfortable and appropriate decor. They also have an covered outside area. It is just across the roads from Roselands shopping centre.

The food was good but the meals cane out one at a time intervals 10 minutes. Some finished before the last came out. 4 people.

Don't rock up on a Sunday. They close the whole kitchen at 2pm! Would only recommend if you're keen for a cold banana bread. Funny that their "all day, every day" cafe menu also wasn't available ???"

Generally good. Was slightly not happy that the bar section was trying to use digital menu and not user friendly or can't find certain products. They ended up bringing the laminated menu back out though.

My lunch with family there was VERY disappointing..the kitchen cooks had no idea how to cook expensive steaks on the menu. We requested 3 medium rare, with Greek salad. Even the Greek salad was a letdown, I don't know what that white mushy cheese was in the salad, but it certainly wasn't Greek feta.
We paid for the first disaster, (overcooked and dry as a bone, inedible).
Second order the same..BOTH times, we had to send them back.
Bar staff also were inexperienced. Asked for a "gin and bitter lemon". The girls behind the counter said "what's that ? You mean Sprite lemonade!
PLEASE hire some competent experienced cooking/ bar staff.
It's such a shame because The Lantern Club" Mazi" Restaurant "and bar is so stylish and close to home for us, you really need to hire more experienced staff ?

Food was good, i waited 20 minutes in line to place our order, food came out quick though,
Then at 9pm the wait staff were rushing around to clear the tables, took my plate as I was talking to our guests and I still had chips and salad.

Excellent service and delicious food. The soundproofing and decor are very luxurious. You can have a conversation with people at your table and not feel overwhelmed by the noise coming from neighbouring tables.

A very pleasant venue. Good food and reasonable prices. Staff are excellent and helpful in particular Susan who went out of her way to assist us. She has a pleasant outgoing manner and is a great asset to the club.

Great atmosphere, relaxed and not crowded. Mum and I went there for lunch on Saturday 27th and the staff there are amazing. Looked after us and were genuinely lovely people. Very helpful and accommodating. The food was excellent . Highly recommended.

Never been so I thought Id try this place for Dinner.Signed new membership.Place has really nice decor.Staff at front desk polite .Food was a bit disappointing and the cutlery was dirty.Ordered the 300g rump steak medium rare, I got a rare .Would of thought for the price I paid , that I would receive a steak cooked as ordered.Maybe next time will be okay?

We were all in a good mood so made a last minute decision to try this place with the kids for dinner.Didnt get past reception.Their computers crashed and the supervisor reprimanded my 2 year daughter for touching the Easter egg display (gently) even though theyd made us wait in reception for 10 minutes while they tried to figure out what to do. Not family friendly at all.
