Had dinner with ladies group last night. We were picked up by a very polite and friendly young man in courtesy bus. Nice drink in the bar before heading into bistro for dinner. Excellent choices- 3 of us had garlic prawns, 1 calamari, 1 pork cutlet and 1 salmon. All meals were excellent. Very pleasant environment and great service. We will be back! Keep up the good work.

We wanted a healthy and reasonably priced meal, and inside away from cool damp July weather; the Laurieton United Services Club proved a great choice. The restaurant opened at 5.30pm and a lot of tables were already booked, indicating popularity. We found a table and enjoyed a good dinner.

The first time back here, since the renovations were done, which are great. Had a large and lovely meal, we all did, actually. I live in Sydney and always go to this club for a nice meal.

Fantastic club. The meals are beautiful and very well priced. There are heaps of raffles most nights. Very well run.

Lovely experience at the club from the reception to the bar staff. The supervisor Jacob was extremely helpful with my queries. My food was great and the friendly staff made for an enjoyable visit

Really good value for money meals. However, I got severe food poisoning a few hours after eating lunch at the Bistro. so not a pleasant experience. Would have to think twice before going back there again.

Thank you for supporting the well organised running event that used your clubs facilities, it was very well done.
The club was very welcoming, the bar staff were very good at their job and made getting our drinks a fun experience.
But the bistro was about as bad as it gets. In saying that it was not the front of house.
The meals, standard club fare, were over cooked. Crumbed cutlets coating was very dark brown and basically inedible, snitzels wernt so bad just a little overdone around the edges, parmigiana wasn't grilled enough to brown the cheese. Grilled chicken was overcooked and dry.
They were very busy, so we didn't complain.
But they lost a couples meal, when they asked about their order a staff member (manager?) basically told them to wait, were busy etc. She spoke to them very harshly which is not what you would expect.
They had ordered before us and first on on our table, we were finished by the time theirs arrived. Sadly with no apology.
LUSC, we won't be back.

Good tasty food with friendly service. What a pity the venue does not take advantage of its magnificent location. The dining area is stuck right in the middle of the building - ergo- no view.

Nice location and food. We were there for dinner (which was good) and won a meat-tray in the raffle! Also, we used their courtesy bus to and from our accommodation - which was great

12 of us had dinner in the Bistro on Saturday night.The food arrived promptly, so that all of us were eating at the same time.
We had selected many different dishes and we all raved about our food.

Nice lunch at very a reasonable price. Then a nice afternoon tea with a view of the river. Can't get much better than that. It's a great club and all the staff were friendly.

We enjoy our visit to the LUSC this time we visited the local orchard show, I think it is held twice a year it was beautiful and recommend you come and visit when the next orchard show is on. Afterwards we enjoyed a coffee overlooking the river.

Attended The Angel's concert, venue was great. Good audience, not to crowded. Music excellent. Staff efficient and friendly. Recommend this club for their event shows.

Nice place for a drink overlooking the river. Food is basic pub/club fare but well prepared and good quality at reasonable prices.

Staying overnight nearby and dropped in to have dinner with hubby. Ordered a small roast of the day, it was very nice and a Thai beef salad, the salad was really nice and generous portion, loved it! ..but the beef slices were very chewy. I finished it tho as I was so hungry ( it was my one and only meal of the day )

Exellent place been here for two weeks no Rangers close to shops beach and a number of waterways people are friendly. Good fishing will be stopping here again

Been there once before and impressed with the club. Arrived but sorry to the receptionist that yes, tried to keep her cool and did very well at it. Not everyone knows the covid rules !! Be a little patient!! The girl at the food counter was unbelievable unfriendly. And we pay her wages
The food there was okay. Not Going to come back again when we come up this way.

Lovely club, very spacious with several areas for coffee and lovely dining area. Reasonably priced lunch, very nice staff.

This club has a good bistro. A good variety of food options. I visited at lunch time. The service was friendly and efficient. The facility was very clean. COVID-safe policies are in place all over this club. Plenty of on street parking located outside the club. Located in a handy location near the centre of town. A great spot to come and relax.

We had the medium roast meal for Dinner, not bad for the price.I personally thought the price of a beer was a little high. They do look after there members with discount prices. The club has a lovely outlook over the river.Staff are friendly.

Found a perfect place to breastfeed, away from members and guests - and a change table - Fabulous! (And yes! It has a beautiful view of the river )
