A legendary club with great food and top staff.

Roast of the day was a huge plate of meat and chips and a very small portion of salad. Limited menu at Bistro.
They do Pensioner meals.
Clean, tidy and friendly staff.

Friendly Staff, especially the Receptionist who explained about the venues where food is being served.

Lady (cook) in a restaurant was friendly and helpful too.

The food was good too

Very welcoming and vibrant atmosphere. Has lots of indoor seating space, resturant and a Cafe. Had wonderful meal. Venue has lots of free parking space. Highly recommend

Had a lovely meal tonight. Chicken Parma with cheese and bacon. Very nice a bit big for me but my husband finished his. Great place to eat

Took a friend to dining room for lunch & the salad was such a huge improvement on previous visits. Tasted as if made in the kitchen out of fresh veggies rather than pre packed tired & unappealing salads of the past. Well done kitchen staff??'?

I enjoyed Nachos and a hot chocolate last night, very nice.

We stayed overnight and dined here on our road trip from Sydney to Dubbo. Value for money, nice, big and clean family room + Comfortable food. We had Schnitzel and Prawn linguine for dinner, Egg Benedict and a big breakfast for breakfast, both delicious and good portions. The motel staff was really warm and welcoming. The room was big with everything we wanted for our stay. As a bonus, it had EV chargers in the parking lot which was great and convenient for us, charging the car nice and easy while staying in the hotel. Definitely coming back, already added this place as the stop for lunch when we are going to go back home.

My mum was down there over the Xmas period and the only thing she liked was the coffee she ordered the surf and turf meal ( not cheap) but she said it was the worst meal she has had in her life time. Veggies were mushy and the prawns hadn't been devained and one in particular had brown goo coming out of it. The steak was also dry! Sad really since 30 years ago was one of the best places in town to eat. As a now visitor was extremely disappointing to see the standards had become so non prevalent!

Good food even though at the time the menu was reduced because of the towns gas line failure.

Nice place. Front of staff lovely. Coffee shop staff were a bit grumpy. Food was not to my taste. Salmon sandwich was rather dry

Four nights, five days at the Workers Club and couldn't be happier. The pricing of the rooms was fantastic for the quality that was on offer - which was truly very high. The food and drinks were great and very reasonably priced. Wouldn't change anything even if I could - except maybe the weather. Loved it a lot.

Always consistent, but maybe a bit pricey for what your getting. That's ok though considering how much they give back to the community.

Driving home to Penrith late so stopped in on a very cold Saturday with the family to get a feed at the Bistro.Great food at sensible prices very helpful & efficient staff team.I will be back..rgds

Expensive breakfast, with not much on offer. Eggs were not cooked as requested, cheap croissants barely any options for the $25 you pay for it. Best to give this place a miss for breakfast.

Great place to stay. Motel is perfection in every way. We will be back to stay next time in Lithgow. Club has great staff and services the Cafe and bistro are a great place to eat and open for breakfast through to dinner.

Comfortable and clean room and very friendly and charming staff. Would stay there again, but would eat elsewhere as my meal at the bistro wasn't great. The 'salad' served with the steak and chips was a glad-wrapped bowl of horror - some iceberg lettuce with 2 hefty quarters of an underripe tomato, topped with chopped up pieces of tinned pineapple and beetroot topped with a slice of orange. Maybe they should call it steak and chips with fruit salad or maybe that's just how they like it in Lithgow. I wouldn't have minded so much if the meal hadn't cost $33.

A great place to stop and grab a meal and a coffee if you're heading West or East through Lithgow. I remember the days my father was around and would have no place for such club type visits but to visit the local park when we drive though the town ~ but now things a little different as i grew up in the club type era of the great comfort and access to clean amenities along with pleasant environment to grab a nice meal, good off street parking, and you don't pay that much more than the local fast food chain of stores like MacDonald's and Burger King which are both on the Great Western High Way. I've been to countless places ordering Burger's and chips ~ but the Club Burger [see Pics] is one of 'Kitchen Craftmanship' ~ lets just say has the lot and very well presented ~ No comparison for a BIG Mac!!!
