Great meals, big hotel just been renovated. Great staff here, very friendly place and so is the towns people.

We decided to try somewhere other than our regular spot for dinner but the chicken Parma was ordinary in comparison. Generous serving size but had diced ham and LOTS of cheese on top. Chips were nice, staff were good and were happy to notify us in the pokies area that our meals were ready.

This restaurant is simply magnificent. We always visit it when we're in Mafra. The service is top-notch, and the food is delicious! Highly recommended.??'?

Staff were fantastic, polite & cheery despite the whole venue being crazy full (2 big birthday bookings as well as normal Friday regulars). Unfortunately the steak was pretty ordinary, especially for $48. I have had steak that's bigger (330g+) & better tasting for less ($30+). The chips and gravy were really nice though. I would happily pay $48 if the steak wasn't so fatty and just bleh.

Went for a lovely drive from Sale to Mafra in Victoria Australia and called in to the Mafra Community Sports Club for lunch
We had a roast and hamburger
The roast meat was dry and cold, the vegetables were cold and the gravy was cold. The gravy even had a skin on it where it was cold
We had to wait 50 minutes for lunch and we were the first ones there at 11.30am
We should have been told it would take a long time for our lunch as we were in a hurry
I asked twice how long our meal would take and 20 minutes before our meal arrived I got told they were constructing the burger
