Pretty standard club fare, food is generally tasty and well presented. Reasonable prices. Pizzas are good. Not flash but popular with locals for a quick feed.

We are members and regulars and have even had large functions at the restaurant but haven't visited for a while.
On our most recent visit the first thing we noticed is all the restaurant staff were new ... The old friendly and efficient staff with big smiles and warm greetings are long gone it seems and we now have totally unsupervised young wait staff on a busy Saturday night struggling to keep up despite their best efforts ... How are they supposed to cope with serving and managing tables and chasing orders it's so unfair to see them put in these situations and a disgrace for the management..Grossly unfair and disappointing is an understatement.... ! Bur the young ladies were awesome under the circumstances !

Went there last night for our anniversary dinner, and I must say the service we received by the restaurant manager Helen was absolutely delightful.
She made us feel wanted and even went out of her way to make sure our boys were happy with a colour in book and pencils.

The food came out quick and hot.
I had the chicken schnitzel with chips n salad and it was great!

We'll be visiting again.

So last night was the second time that I have been here. First time I couldn't fault them at all the food was brilliant especially the pizza that was on the special board. As for the atmosphere yes it is quiet but it is a country pub which I like. The bar man that I had was brilliant and even brought the cocktail out to our table when it was ready. So as for the second time I ordered the boscaiola the bacon in it what not nice at all the taste was very granular because of the cheap cut maybe if they use good bacon it would taste a lot better. if I wasn't so hungry I would of sent it back and asked for something else.

Warm friendly and helpful service, good tasty and delicious foods. There is a good view of the golf course field. ??'?

Burgers were soggy, no sauce, 1 piece of tomato. Kids pizza tasted like cardboard. 45 minute wait for terrible food. I told the manager i wasn't happy and he said 'sorry'.

We love heading to Mangrove Mountain Memorial Club. Good price cocktails and great food. Food service can be slow but use the time to watch the golfers on the last hole and have a drink.

Food was great. Air con working well inside club and nice view while having lunch. Will go back.

A very friendly and well staffed club. We dined in the bistro, had two meals from the mid week lumch specials which were not only very well priced, but delicious and good sizes.
Staff were super courteous and helpful.
Overall a really nice place for a meal and a drink with good views over the mountain.

Super friendly staff, a terrific bistro menu at fantastic prices and a wonderful setting to boot .. this is casual dining done brilliantly and a credit to the team... every one of them is simply oustanding and they can teach much fancier and more expensive restaurants a real lesson in getting it right !

Not busy and meals took half a hour to arrive, stake had a lot of grisel but all 3 other meals were very nice

Service was very friendly.
I ordered an eye fillet with hot chips, garlic/cheesy bread and salad with 1/2 strength Cappoccino.
My husband ordered a soy Cappoccino, and chicken schnitzel burger.
The Cappochinos were weak, (even my husbands and his was full strength).
The food was delicious and plenty of it.
The cheesy/garlic bread was light and crispy.
The steak was rich in flavour, though a little rare for my liking but very tender.
I tried a little of my husband's chicken snitzel and it was tender, crispy on the outside and full of flavour.
I'd definitely return and bring family members next time.
The beautiful mountainous view in the clouds just added to the full experience.

Stopping here was a last minute decision and we will definitely be back. The food was pretty good. The only negative was the coffee.

I had the Schnitzel Burger and my wife had the eye fillet which we both thoroughly enjoyed.

Sunday evening 6.30pm 19th June placed an order for
1 x ham cheese and pineapple pizza........plus.........
1 x meat lovers with extra mushroom and meat.
Total cost $43.00
Meatlovers was the worst . Domino's have twice the filling at 1/2 the price. Even when asked for extra mushrooms and meat ha! A scattering, scattering of mushrooms as for the meat got. 1/2 a dozen bits of ham, 10 slices of pepperoni and some chopped bacon. That's it you could count the amount of food on this pizza.
As for the Ham, Cheese an Pineapple.
Slapped around the pizza ham 8 slices, yes 8. As for the pineapple 6 to 8 chunks sliced chunks at that very thin.
Both tasted like eating cardboard bland and tasteless.

I rang, spoke to the "chef" she said there was ample filling on the meat lovers. Then said how sorry she was. My reply, Not sorry enough as I will never ever be returning.

Nice place for pizza. Been a social member with Winston for many years. Always found the staff polite. Family oriented. Yet to try the course but will now I have finally taken up golf.

Awful service. Whilst checking in, a not so friendly woman came out and started barking instructions. Made us feel unwelcome, and as if we'd been trying to get away with something. My friend struggled to log in to find his vax cert, and with no humour or even a friendly shrug, we were managed like naughty children. Meanwhile they're selling roadies to locals with a wink and a nod, and having a warm chat, interrupted by a not so friendly ask that my friend remove his hat indoors. We weren't local, and the message was that we didn't belong. Meanwhile the place is empty and seems starved for business.

Can't complain as only coming out of covid

Mangrove Mountain Golf course is a relaxed public course of 9 holes. It has generally short hole distances on a interesting landscape. Hilly, for the fit a fun place to play.

The course at Mangrove is looking nice, the greens the best I've seen. Although very fast and tricky to read ??'?

Windy day but still a beautiful place to play a round!

Great little club, good club food, nice little restaurant with large enclosed deck looking over golf course. Prices fair, portions fair therefore I recommend stopping in and giving it a go.

Great place with great views.This hidden gem is a lovely place to go while passing through.Great diverse menu with something for everyone. They give vegetarian options which is a big plus exspecially for their pizzas which cater for those who are lactose freeThe view is definitely the highlight. If you can sit on enclosed balcony area and have views of our beautiful countryThe chocolate machine wasn't stocked :(

A course that plays and looks great considering its only 9 holes played twice over but they've added different markers and tee boxes to mix it up. Beautiful views from the Club House too!! Would definitely play here again. =)
