The Manly Leagues Club, such a great place for a bit of catching up with the lads. Meals were incredible, highly recommend the Chicken schnitzel, one of the best I've ever had. Would recommend for anyone looking for a really good lunch/dinner.

I have not been there since pandemic. Back then the food was average. The place was a bit outdated.
But today first time in many years, omg it's nice , tasty and beautifully served.

Definitely a nice place to pop in and have a beer while watching the footy. Always gotta support the local team UP THE EAGLES.

Very concerned about the bite mark on the ear of the Tommy Turbo cardboard cutout, I would expect this on the DCE cardboard cutout especially around origin. I would probably give the venue a miss until the phantom bitter has been found and locked up.

What a very enjoyable visit... and what a warm, friendly welcome we received from Robyn.. Being from out of town, she gave us all the info we needed about our visit to the club. Also, a very special mention to Makayla, who was manning the bistro, she was very kind and friendly and very knowledgeable about the menu.

Great staff throughout the club, and what a nice place to enjoy a great lunch.

A club with a huge history, they were very accomodating for our group of 70.
Fed us all and made our families feel welcome.
The local lady on the front desk was wonderful

I have to say our dinner we got from the front cafe last night was terrible! In fact we heard a number of people complaining! Honestly they can't be qualified chefs because it was poorly made with lack of preparation & taste!
We come to the club for dinner every Thursday night and it has been going downhill big time to the point of going somewhere else!
I have even mentioned to the staff you should have a bit more variety or change the night's specials around like the Wednesday spare ribs (which is very nice) to a Thursday etc.
I am sorry but you need to get rid of the chefs from the front cafe!
How can you possibly stuff up a cheeseburger & a chicken sandwich??

Worst buffet I have ever had. Very little choices of food, and first time I have to pay for drinks outside the buffet package. The staff are not friendly, also we were not made aware that our session ends in one hour so couldn't even get a dessert. Now I understand why I only see very few ppl there having the buffet.

The receptionist was lovely and helped me join up. The place is clean and tidy but the decor is basic and the food range and food quality is just very average. The management could be more creative with the food options, then I think people would spend more on the food and enjoy their time here.

Unbelieveable seafood laksa - it had everything you ever loved in a deliciously tasty soup full of suprises & unreal tastes. Which was full of oomph & wet your tastebuds! Highly recommended.
Worth waiting for

Visited on Manly vs Storm game night, and was surprised this was not my previous experience with this club. There were insufficient tables set up, which they did rectify, but meant people were standing around with nowhere to sit their drinks for a while. Ordered a cheese and bacon burger from bistro, guess they ran out of bacon? It was certainly not worth it, would have been better off getting something from the ground. Was a little disappointed the Lyons den has lost its name, and atmosphere, since I've last been. Staff were all amazing, no issues with their professional and courteous nature on a very busy night.

Love the current lobster promotion, great taste good value & big portions.

Had a nice lunch and a beer here today. Lunch was $12 for shnitty, chips, salad and sauce of your choice. For this price i thought the food was really good. The beer was cold and cheap. Will be back.

Young, friendly, engaging and helpful?

Menu - boring, and very very little dietary options. As a Celiac I was left unimpressed by their offerings and had to settle for steak & salad. The steak was cooked ok but the salad was limp, wilted and plain ordinary. It's not hard to offer Gluten Free.

Wine list - boring(dictated/bought/owned by Robert Oatley)not sure if it's the patrons or they just have no choice or no idea about wine

Would I go back......Nah, I don't think I will.

Very family UNFRIENDLY. Jade, the bar manager singled me out, for no apparent justified reason. I had just had a dinner with my boys. Was it my nice pink outfit?

She nastily told me off threatening me to contain my boys.

Her bully-like tone had me second guessing myself. Then I recollected the facts:

- My boys never approached the bar.
- They sat quietly and ate their dinner.
- They played in the tiny play pen they have. - They escaped out once and standard, did one lap around the dining area.

Sorry - but MUM-shaming is never okay.

Northern Beaches has over 20,000 families with kids. You are either family friendly or you are not.

I have a Music School of over 200 local parents and would never have approached a patron in that way. If you have kids (as most of us NB residents do) I suggest spending your dining splurge elsewhere

Today's Melbourne Cup High Tea was fabulous, tho I am disappointed it wasn't a 2 course meal (as in the past) as I don't usually eat "sweets". The whole staff involved were excellent and attentive. The cranberry scones were extremely dry unfortunately and the bread of the sandwiches a little dry but otherwise we had a lovely time.

Just had High Tea Melbourne Cup lunch. Great food, wonderful setup, fabulous staff. Totally loved it. We will be back!

We had my mum & dads wedding renewal here in the function room.
Megan was absolutely incredible from planning months in advance to the night. She made everything very special and made sure it run smoothly. She looked after my mum so well and I would definitely highly recommend her to plan your event.

A great club. Very friendly staff. In particular a young lady called Amber and a manager called Jade, absolute gems, helped me sort out a bottle (of milk) for my little one. Food was excellent. Looking forward to going back.

Very good leagues club.
We had the beef nachos and cheese garlic bread. Both delicious and hot, reasonably priced and came from the kitchen quickly.

Rated as four stars not five as drinks are quite expensive (~$8 ea.) and they do not have Manly's 4 Pines on tap despite being a Sea Eagles sponsor.

2008, says it all about this spirited club!! Won the game despite Melbourne Storm paying apprroximatly 3 X the total payments for the Manly side legally taking the field, and giving Melbourne a flogging like no other!!
And the dream send off for retiring legend Steve Menzies!!!

I would like share this story about ( Bob Fulton - Manly Coach). Back in the mid nine-tees I was sitting at the Manly Pacific Hotel enjoying a Drink when I was approached by a young female, she started to talk to me a while then Bob Fulton walks up to me & informs me that this was his Girlfriend. I said to Mr Fulton I was not aware of that. Mr Fulton started to Threaten & Harass me several times claiming he would beat me up the Old Fashion Away if I did not move on. I noticed he was accompanied by several other team mates that were filtered out in & around the Club, so I did comply.Im letting everyone know how Bob Fulton conducts himself off the Footy Field. My mistake was I should of let him beat me up for the local Manly Newspapers to get a hold of for the Publicity. This man doesn't deserve his name to be linked to such a great Team.

As a Professional Face Painter in Sydney I used to do some face painting here for the children in the past.Was so good to come back here once again.Fantastic for families and to celebrate your party or other type of event.I love the members lounge as it is very comfortable and feels like your own living room.Will be coming back to visit again.

I literally saw the chef touched my food, the salad without using gloves. How gross is that?I told that chef, I don't want the salad any more because I saw you touched it, grabbing it onto my plate. Where is the hygiene?And they started speaking Chinese when I was walking away. So unprofessional.You guys need to improve it. Eeww

I like Manly Leagues for its easy going atmosphere. The food is delicious and they regularly have specials of the day or month. Prices are very reasonable and there is plenty of entertainment such as meat raffles, bands, pool tables, etc.

As an out of town person I didn't know what to expect. I have to say I was surprised at how it lacked any form of style. Many country clubs such as Wests in Newcastle are far better establishments. Can't see myself visiting the club again.
