Maroubra Seals Club, Maroubra NSW

I have had two meals at this club and found them disappointing. The grilled fish I had was overcooked dry and tough which was very surprising. I had chicken Parmesan today and found It disappointing. The meal tasted like it had been burnt and was tough. I had been here many years ago and the food was very very good So I found a disappointing. Both times the food was overcooked and tough. It's a pity the food didn't match the views.

Edit - My friends and I returned today and I have to say we were given wonderful service. On of my group has severe disabilities and has to have his food a certain way and the kitchen staff went out of their way to cater to our needs. They did this in a gracious and respectful way. We were very happy and appreciative.
A very delicious meal for not a lot of money so therefore this is a great place to come if you're looking for a great meal but you are budget conscious. It goes to show that you can still get a nice meal without having to bust open the piggy bank. It's in a great location, just across from Maroubra beach and you can go for a lovely walk after your meal. This is your typical little club with the pockies, bingo etc. Thumbs up!! 😀😀😀😀

Went there to train using my fitness passport, only to be told I need to be a member of the club even though it states differently on the fitness passport website. The old grumpy receptionist Alex then rudely told me to "open my ears" and listen to him when I was simply trying to show him the app. I know it's only $11 dollars to join, but when it's clearly stated on the site, it requires no access card, why should I pay?? Alex, you are very rude and I wish you find happiness in your life. If you don't like your job/life decisions that's your fault. Don't take it out on people

Great spot and the venue is massive. They require either providing your details for one-off visit, or signing up as a member.. after spending 15 mins on sign-up process upon arriving, we went upstairs to canteen, but there's no vegan options in the menu.. 2024...

Even their potato fries are cooked in the same fryer with dead birds and marine animals 😢

My go to place to 🏊‍♂️ swim, gym, & great steam room, good food & very reasonably priced drinks, also good entertainment & shows, great view of Beach
