Just moved to Maryborough and thought we would try the Maryborough Golf Club for tea on Sunday night. And both my husband & I were most impressed, Staff were most helpful & Polite and the food was excellent. Nice extensive menu so you would be impossible to pleased if you didn't find something you like. Went back the next day and joined as a social member and the office staff were just as helpful and polite. 5 star plus. Will enjoy being a member of this club.

Mixed grill for the win ?

Attended a Christmas Party here with my wife and the facility is too nice. Ample car park, nice and friendly staff all around, bar is full of nice drinks and tap drinks. The time was pretty hot and could not sit outdoors which was a miss. Nice food fish and chips and nice garlic bread. Recommended.

Whilst I didn't expect great seafood this far from the ocean, I certainly didn't expect the horrid SEAFOOD PLATTER I was served.
See pics attached. According to the menu there are grilled prawns. These never arrived. When requested, the small plate of shrimps arrived within minutes. Clearly from a peed-off chef. The scallops were fake - see the picture of one rolled out.
The brother had the mixed grill which was swamped in gravy. He too was not impressed.
Notable service from the lovely Ellen, and another young girl from behind the bar. Avoid the grumpy clock-tattooed lass. Brrrrr...

The bistro for dinner omg great meals well worth the money big meals as I like. Desserts a little small. Play pokies after dinner great place and very spacious for dinner not cramped at all. My mixed grill yummo...

Today we went for lunch and I ordered the seafood crepe as I have over the years I haven't been for about 12 months wow what a change I'm sorry but it was sloppy the cream wasn't reduced at all just chucked on the plate and covered in chips even the salad bowl was swimming. It used to have at least 6 x prawns and now only two miniature mussels and the rest was crab stick yes it had flavour but it would have been better with a bit of time so disappointed ? it was my favourite not sure what is going on but please fix it very disappointed I was looking forward to it ?

What can we say but a BIG thank you to the Maryborough Golf Club for accommodating 50 family and friends for my fathers 90th birthday.
With such a big group we felt very special, with a lunch time celebration we had our meals in a reasonable time frame and everyone's meals were amazing and didn't feel rushed to leave.
The staff had the tables looking wonderful and did everything they could to make our time enjoyable.
We have had family from interstate all week and celebrated and eaten at the club 3 times in the week and each time have been amazing.
Thank you to all the Staff at Maryborough Golf Club much appreciated

Lovely meals, good service

Hadn't been here for a few years due because they used to be incapable of not burning the food. Had a meal here on Friday night and can confidently say they've upped their game. The meal was cooked perfectly and was delicious. The customer service was excellent. Highly recommend.

Great value, very friendly staff and most importantly from my perspective the disability access was second to none.

Apparently a club that is very financial!!! Pulled in at 7:23 am with two local identities who have grown up in Maryborough and supported the community their whole lives only to be met with sorry fellas we've got a comp on today!!! Which would be fair enough if we weren't the only car in the car park!!! Hope the members have a great day and the club can live without our substantial contribution. Merry Xmas not!!!

Frenchie chicken schnitzel, cooked well, hot, lovely filling meal. Friendly staff.

After extensive renovations the experience hasn't changed, still great food, excellent service and chef is happy to cater to any individual who has an allergy or dietary needs. Will return ?

First time visitors. Enjoyed a lovely, well priced meal in the bistro. There were seven on our table and everyone enjoyed their meal. Really nice place.

We have just had a meal at the Maryborough Golf Club
Veal Scallopini and vegetables was my choice for a mere $27.00
Veal was cooked to perfection. Very tender
In a delicious sauce. 5 vegetables served with the Scallopini, all cooked perfectly.
I ate everything on my plate. The presentation was also excellent.Chefs Andrew and Ian - great work. Linc and Allegro were both friendly and helpful . Thanks to Heather for getting us in at 6.00pm

Havnt had a bad meal here since the renovations. Keep up the great work.

We had a delicious lunch in the dining room which has been upgraded since our last visit. It offers a clear view over the course through floor to celing windows.
The staff that served us were all welcoming and provided prompt service.
The meals are, reasonably priced, quite large and its obvious the ingredients are very fresh. Meals are well presented on the plate.
There is also a tea & coffee station where you can make yourself a cuppa.
There is plenty of free parking right outside the venue.
I would just advise when the sun comes streaming in through the large glass windows it can get quite warm, so when you make a booking or just drop in you might like to request a table away from the windows, particularly during warmer weather.
Maryborough is less than an hour's drive from Ballarat. I always visit Hartwell Shoes in the main street whenever I visit. They have a wide range of beautiful shoes for women and men. If you're looking for quality, comfort and styles that are a little different from what you see in most stores it's worth the drive.

A lovely, green beautiful 18 hole course. Great fun.

They forgot my order, we're busy serving friends, you used to get a good Meal there.

Lovely Sunday roast but: Would be better if hot plates were used when serving roast and hot vegetables as food gets cold too fast. Staff shortage made it difficult for the very kind staff members as there were many diners due to long weekend.

Thoroughly enjoyed the great food tonight. The Whiting was delicious. Service and staff was excellent.

Can't go wrong if you are in town, great bistro meals - very good value for money. Often has bookings available too, friendly staff and good service. Garlic Prawns fantastic, 10 large prawns - very filling!
