Fantastic staff with affordable menu with a modest selection and great atmosphere and indoor outdoor space

Found our whole experience disappointing. Firstly customer service on arrival poor. For dinner we had rump steak with veggies and the seafood basket (presentation looked as bad as it tasted). Wouldn't return for a meal. However, they have a lovely outdoor area so good for a drink.

The food it's always great. The Chinese food is definitely the best. However the staff at the front door and the bar have absolutely no idea on customer service. I've never seen a group of people look so miserable. They are grumpy and extremely unapproachable. This seems so be the case every time we come. Don't bring kids, every time it seems they are having fun, staff will be sure to put a stop to it. We decided to leave after the lady yelled at our daughter!

Was about to join this RSL club but there is an near balding man who was rude to my girlfriend in a different club aka South Jr's Kingsford and now he works here.

Equally as rude here too, belittling my girlfriend in South's Jr's... Sorry to the higher managers but my girlfriend and I can not come back and to join.

Which is extremely sad as I wanted to join in honouring my grandfather who fought in WW2 and other brave people in the wars before and after WW2.

So it looks like I will have to keep looking for my new RSL.

Chips were soggy, steak was as thick as a brick & undercooked after I asked for it extra well done. I really don't like to complain but it was a waste of money. Not happy at all

The food is GREAT!!! Try the Combination Laksa!!! One of the best, better than in Malaysia. Also I've tried the other meals like Grilled Fish and Chips, Crispy Skin Chicken etc...really yummy, good value! Upstairs, there's darts or pool. ?

Great staff and beers. the ambience is a combo of nice pensioners locals but also younger derelicts.

I went because I was interested in the $14 special and when I when I asked for the roast for the day which was on the special list but they told me no they didn't have it so I got the chicken chow mein combination and it was horrible and had heaps and heaps of onions and was not very nice not much meat or chicken and I had my tooth took it out and I explain to them soft noodles but when I got the mail they were hard noodles so I asked reception if they could give me a soft noodle she said three dollars extra in a really rude voice so double think when you look at this place because it wasn't good for me

Great menu, great service, license essential for entry - dont leave it at home. Nice outdoor area for kids go run around.

My ex-wife allowed me a night with our five-year-old, so I took her to my favourite establishment, however I was disappointed to learn that they did not allow minors in the pokies room!! So I had to leave her outside in the middle of winter! Outragus!!! However I had a pleasant evening and got my fourth Carlton dry complimintary.

The best club in Sydney , have a feed play lawn balls, and go to the beach. Great staff and the food is top notch

It's a nice club where you can sit outside in the sun and enjoy Chinese or Australian food.

We went for dinner on Saturday night and the place was empty. We ordered Chinese food. It is expensive for an rsl!
Worse of all is the off putting stink of nicotine in the air. It permeates your nostrils. Apparently they have a room where gamblers can play and smoke.

I can't recommend this place.

Nice function room overlooking the dining area.
Service staff were very helpful in assisting us to get the technology working.
The parking area had quite a number of pot holes. There was plenty of parking available.
Cigarettes could be smelt when inside the function room, when the function room door was slightly open. Once we closed the function room door, we no longer smelt the cigarettes.

Food catered was tasty. There was plenty of food and the club provided take away boxes so we could take the food home.
The cup cakes were supplied by us.

The catering staff were busy so they provided us with the tools to divide the food onto serving platters. This gave us the opportunity to customise the food platters ourselves. 😀

There was a bar inside the function room. The service at the bar was good. A glass of soft drink was $5, a can on soft drink was $5.50. The wait staff promptly cleared the empty glasses from the table.

Stopped by here for some food and beers and it was Trivia night!! A great set up with some great people behind the bar providing a quality service. Parking nearby was not a problem.

Beautiful local RSL, family oriented with childrens corner playground.Food is served fresh, Hot food and cold ice drinks.Carpark is located conveniently next to the building.

Nice community feel, nice community atmosphere, old skool mess style kitchen, lighting and decor needs an upgrade but all in all great little hidden spot for great food and value.

The club had a two piece band and it was a very happy family place. Lots of families and children. The Bistro food is delish. Myself and 2 friends had the Combination Laksa which was very delicious
