We had a fantastic time hosting our event here in feb 2026. From booking with Emma, to G and the team on the day they were so helpful and the venue is beautiful. We are already booking our next one

Great place for having lunch or dinner..Views trough huge glass area towards racecourse is Amazing,you feel like at Flemington..you can seat outside as well on wormer days or nights. Ordered porthouse steak with mash potato , really enjoyed it with glass of red vine ..there are plenty staff on duty and there were at least 100 people dining when we arrived ,but we did not waut more than 15 minutes , food arrived at our table..it was about 7 pm..Definetly i will be back..

We recently celebrated our daughter\'s 18th, and the staff were absolutely sensational! They went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. They were fantastic with dietary requirements, which took the stress away, and we didn\'t have to worry at all about the younger guest drinking. The food was fabulous and plentiful. Everyone commented on how delicious it was. Thank you for making the night so easy and enjoyable for us all! Dani & Liv :)

I attended a work function during lunch time. The conference staff were excellent with the function room setup for presentations.

The braised beef cheek is one of the best I have ever tasted. This one meal is 5/5 stars. The desserts on the day were average.

09 11 2024. I had an ok night at the Harness Racing. But some of the staff seemed to have an I couldn't be bothered attitude towards me! Especially one young guy who was working at the bar in the sports bar who was extremely abrupt and not friendly at all! I ordered a meal and asked him if I could eat it outside? He said yes. Afterwards while sitting peaceably outside eating my meal' I was told by Security I couldn't do that! And was asked to go back inside to eat . Not wanting to be of any trouble i went back inside the sports bar to finish my meal! I went back to the sports bar and asked for a glass of Coke to drink the same young guy served me and charged me $6.20!
During the rest of my time there that night I got 3 more glasses of Coke a much nicer friendlier lady serving at the sports bar only charged me $4.00 each time! So not sure what was going on there??
Price reduction from $6.20 down to $4.00!! 😂
The last thing is I attempted to put a bet on I was sure I filled the betting card out properly??? I put the card through the machine but was told very abruptly by another female staff member That's not working! What do you want to do? No offer from her to put the betting card through again or no explanation as to why it hadn't worked??? She asked me again what I wanted to do??? So I told her . . . Well if it's not working I'll keep my money!! I also found it inconvenient that no food and drink kiosk's were available and you had to buy food and drink from the bistro or sports bar!!
I know that it's not easy working a job when you are serving the public! But SOME of the staff could have been a lot nicer and had a much less abrupt more friendly attitude!!
A rating of 2 out of 5 from me and lucky to get that!! If I go back again??? I will make sure I'm not served by that same young guy working behind the sports bar!!! He might not remember me??? But sure as hell I'll remember him!!!

A huge thank you from all of us here at KN to you Kahli Magee and your team for the amazing night. It was the first party of its kind for our business unit, and it was beyond great. All our staff had an incredible time. The venue alone was impressive, but with the exceptional service, delicious food, drinks, and the races - it was just outstanding. Even the DJ you recommended was fantastic!

Attended my child's rugby presentation on the 21/09 I have to say well done to the chef Bec, the food was amazing, every plate that came out was hot, the staff handled a very large crowd with ease. Thanks to everyone for an amazing evening.

I had a great night at Melton Entertainment Park.
Function chef Bec cooked up an amazingly delicious alternating 3 course meal, plates were presented well and meals full of flavour.
Floor staff were a little slow, some carrying 2 plates and others carrying 3, though I noticed some of them had badges saying "in training" and not their name so that explains that.
Bar staff were polite and the barman was good at remembering my drink.
The functions supervisor was kind and helpful while the functions manager Grainne was a delight and ran the night very smoothly.
I stayed the night in the Mantra Hotel and was very happy with housekeepings work and presentation of the rooms. 5/5 for my experience!

What a magnificent facility. Never been to the trotts before, I didn't realise how well organised, well executed and how well run the sport is. And it is quite exciting. Great food and drinks on offer and it seems there's even lovely accommodation if required.
