My family has been here twice since it was reopened. The food is hot and tasty. Plenty of choices. The streamed vegetable buns full of Shitake mushrooms are the best. The only down side is you have a time limit on your dinner. We took friends the last time we went who we haven't seen for a while so we were catching up. At 7:10 they came to our table and quite rudely told us our time was up and to get out. Pretty bad customer service. Don't take guests there. Eat lots fast.

Apart from the reception ladies, i loved everything about Merrylands RSL. The buffet has a wonderful spread and yes it catered to my Indian tongue. The meats served are usually chicken, pork and some seafood. I will definitely keep coming back for the buffet. Try to get in earlier than 12pm to avoid crowd at the counter. Buffet is from 12-2pm. Beverages and alcoholic drinks are not included, charge extra. Couldn't take pictures as the food was delicious and we were devouring. Haha!

The play area downstairs is best when it's pouring outside.

I asked if there's a sports bar at reception and got a fairly confused answer. Did finally discover one tv, kid you not - ONE - tv that was showing sports. Plenty of tv screens for gaming, my goodness, like a gambling den in there, one tv for sports. So I order some rice paper spring rolls, wait 15 minutes and chase up before I got my food. Must admit the food is very good. Fresh and tasty. Upstairs, buffet restaurant. Nothing else. MERRYLANDS RSL management, you look out of touch and desperate, have a good look in the mirror and step up. Not hard to do better...

The buffet has a good variety of food like pizza, fried rice, honey chicken, fried egg noodles, ice cream and even a coffee machine. There is way more food that I can't type as I am too lazy. The food is good.

I recently visited the carpark, and I must say the up and down ramps are incredibly narrow, causing scratches on vehicles and wheels. It's crucial that you consider restructuring it for the convenience of your customers. The current situation doesn't make visitors feel welcomed at all.

Haven't been to this RSL buffet since the revamp, they have certainly improved on choice, large range of different dishes to feast on. The pork belly portions with crackling was outstanding, the roast beef however was Sahara Desert dry, should have had a detour sign as most diners bypassed it, was not appealing at all. Desserts were okay, the pavola was delicious. Staff efficient and always looking to clean your table of finished plates. Overall for a club buffet very good, and price fair.

Has own free parking area, also need to activate in reception. However, if you are L or P plate, I reckon it will be hard to park there.
Went to dine in with friends, so straight in a restaurant near by play area.
The table in there was huge, I liked it.
Foods, we ordered were good except the wedges.

Nicely arranged food. Mains and entrees are great. The dessert section was not rich and mostly not chilled. For fizzy drinks, you have to pay separately and can't serve as self-service.

We were there for the buffet with few friends and their families. Restaurant is very spacious and so many choices of food in the buffet. I wouldn't rate the food as awesome but tasty and good quality, importantly for the price you pay it's definitely worth. Kids have a lot of choices too, not just food but desserts and sweets. Even though busy wasn't too noisy, we could still have a good chat and enjoy the food. Overall the facility is quite modern and a lot of spaces to enjoy a coffee or have a chat.

Coming back after the refurb, definitely very Schmic, polished, nice. Buffet restaurant is set out comfortably, spacious, functional. We started queuing 11am, they did their best but the payment and table service felt clumsy. $94 for 3 adults plus pensioner, value compared to market. Food is above average, better than Ashfield, better than Granville . No extravagance but the bbq pork is juicy, fish tender, salt pepper ribs tasty, sushi is professional. Dessert bar generous, stir fry appetising. Overall 4/5

The food ordered from Sage 2160 was a bit pricey, however the portion provided was larger than expected so this made up for it. The overall quality of the food was also above-average. Following dinner, we watched the NRL Final on the TV screen adjacent to Sage 2160, and while the screen could probably be a bit bigger, the experience was not hindered as the seating was set up close enough to get a decent view.
I have also eaten at the buffet since it recently reopened and had an enjoyable experience here also.
Overall, a good RSL club with quality food and entertainment options.

Dine in for Signature Buffet for a lunch. They were closed & opened again 2 weeks ago. Food was really good. Tasty & had a good variety of food. Will surely come again for dinner. Haven't tried thier dinner menu yet. I am pretty sure it's good too

A very big space with lots of tables and chairs for relaxation and lots of gambling machines including famous Roulette and Baccarat. Got 3 food and bar lounges with delicious food and wine. Staff services is friendly and professional.

Great priced meals from the restaurant, worth joining for the members discount and a good pokies area and bingo.

My experience at this club is totally happy and once you step in the front reception you will be respect and staff are really happy smile and friendly give more information if you need a help especially staff CHERRY at the front... She always help you with anything that you need help and she will remember all the guest name and really happy with her excellent service
