Spectacular location at night. Lengthy menu. Meals were great on a Tuesday evening. Plenty of space to find a quiet table or booth. Always try to sample something different and was not disappointed. Large serves so no dessert tonight!

I can not speak highly enough of the service & attention to detail regarding gluten & lactose free options. The use of baking paper, clean knives, gloves and all without having to request it. When the cafe staff seemed unsure which cappuccino was the LF one, they happily remade it to be sure.
I felt confident eating here and would highly recommend it to anyone with dietary allergies. A+

Dinner at Mittagong RSL Club , what an awesome venue !
Friendly and hospitable staff, lovely decor and comfortable seating in the dining area make for a lovely atmosphere.

The food was all well priced for non-members and absolutely delicious!
I had the Chilli chorizo chicken pasta - Chicken , Chilli chorizo , onion , garlic and char-grilled capsicum in a white wine cream sauce with shallots and Feta ! Absolutely amazing dish , well portioned , delicious and not too creamy . Ashlee had the Chicken Gibraltar - crumbed chicken topped with bacon , avocado and cheese , she decided on the NSB (not so big) option which was still far more than she could eat and priced very well . The chicken was cooked to perfection and the side of Diane sauce made a nice addition to the chicken and side of chips.

Ordering at the counter as expected the order was taken very efficiently. I was handed a buzzer to place on the table , the buzzer let us know our good was ready although the staff walked it to the table for us and it is generally delivered by wait staff without the need to leave the table , there may have been an issue with the system on this occasion. Even with this issue the food was ready very promptly after ordering.

This was recommended to us for dinner. There was a slight hitch gaining entry for y wife as she doesn't drive, so no photo ID. We were advised NSW law required photo ID. However, they allowed us entry for dinner. The service was quick food we ordered was really good. I would recommend this place as an option for a meal or a night out.

Took my grandson to Tabatinga twice in the week he was visiting with us with 2 different experiences. The staff both times were amazing. One time was super busy and the next time it was a lot quieter. This was during the Christmas school holidays.
Highly recommend.

Mittagong RSL is a delightful destination with reasonably priced and affordable food. The inviting atmosphere adds to the overall charm, making it a great place to visit. The diverse menu and pleasant ambiance create a memorable experience for patrons.

Plenty of parking on site and access
Is very easy.

The decor is great and the place feels cosy and nice to dine in, albeit a tad on the dark and serious side.

Overall food was just OK, pork belly was dry and rubbery skin and should never have left the kitchen.

Prawn Pasta (2nd meal) was tasteless and the pasta was a bit on the soft side.

Steak sandwich was a win and very nice.

The place was relatively clean all round but we did notice what looked to be a dead mouse stuck in a light fitting or possibly food. Not sure but was gross.

Coffee and bar was very average which I ended up leaving there so that needs to improve given the $5:50 price tag.

Pepsi on tap was apparently very flat when bought by the jug.

Kids x4 were overall dissatisfied with their meals based on past dinning experiences and my wife and I thought it was very average for $200+ we spent on the day.

I'd say give this place a miss for the food side and go to a nice local cafe, unless seeking some cheap pensioners meals on a discount which would be fine OR just enjoy and nice wine while the kids play in the dedicated area which is well setup.

I'd say management needs to lift their game a bit on the food side or it was just an off day for us.

We held a 70th celebration at the club yesterday. The wait staff Nicky, Frankie and Lia (forgive me if I've forgotten someone) were friendly, helpful and capable, thank you to them.
We opted for finger food which was abundant and very delicious.
The venue was clean, tasteful, spacious, also with access to a large outdoor area for the youngsters to run around in.

Nice club, Pretty classy. Nice food, good service. Surprisingly fairly up to date Gaming Machines for an RSL club so far away from Sydney, I was pretty impressed.

Nice place for relaxation after busy week.
Good food (portion enough for one, unfortunately:)), but pizza could be enough for 2 or even 3, if it be your appetizer:)

Stopping here for dinner on a long trip we had hopes for a nice pub meal but couldn't have been more pleased. The staff were great, the food was amazing and the club itself was nothing short of impressive. As great as their restaurant was, the kids room really stood out. A fully contained playroom with a large playground and cameras on display outside the room for parents that need to monitor from the outside.
Make a detour on your way past and treat yourself to a truly awesome experience.

PROS: Love how check in staff use your name. All staff are friendly. Chips are good and schnitzel nice n hot.
CONS: Drinks selection is very basic. The roast of the day was cold, and the Angus burger whilst tasty, was soggy and fell apart (when will people learn milk buns dont make good burgers?).
All up is an ok place but def room for improvement.

Good place. Nice food. Has loads of gluten free options from pizzas to burgers, as you can see in the add. Taste is good, ambiance is relaxing, staffs are very nice which is the highlight.

Never seen a rsl so busy.
Great menu, the entrees are big enough for you if you are not a big eatter.
We had the entree garlic prawns, which had 6 prawns rice and salad .

Dined for dinner whilst staying nearby in the area. I had the main size garlic prawns. I was happy to get 12 prawns in the serve. They were tasty. Hubby enjoyed his meal also. We sat in the lounge/dining area which you couldn't book but it was quieter & adults only in that area so great for couples & those with no kids. We also had a play on the pokies after dinner & I won so overall a good night out. Service friendly.

Love the RSL club, it has such friendly staff, the food is delicious but has quite large portion sizes. Pokies were fun but a little confusing but figured it out in the end, booking isn't essential but getting in early is recommended

Pretty standard RSL fare. I generally find the food to be overpriced for what you get. We went on a Saturday evening and were surprised to find none of the TVs play the footy! Barperson advised they don't have Foxtel. My prawn pizza cost $22.

Warm place with good food. I grabbed the pork roast and a fruit tart, serve of ice cream and a hot chocolate. The roast was moist with a decent gravy and the pumpkin was nicely roasted. The all important pork crackling was crisp and crunchy and the only negative was the roast potato lacked a crispy exterior. The custard tart topped with fruit was nice with a crisp tart casing and the ice cream was a soft serve which accompanied it well. Recommended eating.

What a great RSL club to go to. We booked for 6:45 and the queued up for food. It was quite a long queue. Got some drinks and could not believe that our food arrived in a very reasonable time frame. Well done to you all. Absolutely worth the stop. Great food thanks for the evening.

How has this gem evaded me for so long?!
We had one of the best lunches I've had in a long time. Everything was cooked to perfection.
The club is very modern with a nice layout, including a great kids zone.
The fireplace tables are amazing as well, never seen that before!
In short, this is a must for anyone looking for a great feed and atmosphere.

Great Food, the service was quite prompt too, especially given the bustle that the evening was for the club. I highly recommend the Mittagong RSL, so much in fact, that, my partner and I became members last night for the added benefits of the establishment..!

Always a clean and bright club. The staff are great and work hard to make the guests happy under trying times. Menu is becoming a bit dated, hasn't changed for a few years but the meals are pretty good for a RSL. Kid friendly and ours love the place.

Quite a nice looking, new club. Food was excellent, especially the garlic cream prawns. Wife's pizza was also well made, just like a real pizza!

Really nice establishment with a packed menu.Front door staff were welcoming but one of the bistro personnel took their covid responsibility to seriously and came across incredibly rude rather than being human and conveying what they had to say in a normal manner. Nevertheless, after ordering our meals they came out quick and the waiters brought us our food to our table which was great. The food was cooked well and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a classic bistro menu.

Stopped unexpectedly on our way to the snow for dinner and couldn't have been happier with the food quality, service and ambience of Mittagong RSL Club. When I accidentally left my identification there they hastily rung up and not only informed me but assured me it would be safe until I collected it upon our return. Will definitely be coming back if ever in the area again. Thanks for having us, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

Mittagong RSL Club is a top club with great staff, beautiful facilities and fine foods.We've been there quite a few times and they do a great job and the steaks are just done brilliantly. Great spot and LOVE THEIR WORK!

What a wonderful day we had.Staff were so friendly and welcoming.We felt very safe as all Staff members ensured the COVID19 procedures were maintained at all times directing Members and Visitors to adhere to regulations in a courteous manner.We were a table of 10 and we all indulged ourselves in the wide variety of dishes on the menu.Absolutely delicious and very generous potions served.Two of the ten managed to squeeze in a yummy dessert and again I must say very generous potions.Coffee was perfectly brewed and hot.This is a must visit for all family members, friends and visitors.I can guarantee this will become a regular venue in our books and I'm sure you'll be won over too.Why not become a Member and enjoy discount benefits all year round.Thanks to all Staff that made our special get together so memorable.Enjoy..
