What a spot, beautiful view. Great menu selection and drink menu. Friendly staff, plenty of parking - we'll be back.

First time coming as we are staying few nights in family coast house.
Became a member for a year to save some $
It took awhile to sign in and become a member as it was busy, arrived at 6pm.
We didn't have a reservation so we got seated but had buzzer. Waited over 50 mins for our food.
Kids menu or entrees were not sent prior all at once.
Kids pasta was tasteless. My 9yr old did not eat it.
Garlic bread was ok
Pork belly was yum
Fisherman's basket my husband enjoyed. But it's not worth the price in my opinion.
I got the king prawn pasta and it was the worst last I've ever eaten. If you see from my review we've been to many places of late and this was so tasteless and oily. There was a layer of cheese just sitting in top!. The prawns I feel were cooked separate and they were yum.
The Thai beef salad just tasted like sweet chilli sauce. The beef was tasty the rest was not Thai.
For the price it was very underwhelming.
I think the jug of pink soft drink and our tap ginger beer were the most tasty.
The location is good and by the reviews I've seen the beach during the day looks lovely but at night it was busy, tasteless and not worth the price.
I'd come just to drink.

Amazing location! Came here mid week for lunch and it was beautiful. Lovely, spacious dining area and the view... A+. We had fish and chips (lunch portion size and cheaper) which was beautifully presented and cooked, a nice salad and home made tartare sauce. Yum! Everything else on the menu was fairly pricey but the F&S was great value.

My wife and I visited here for lunch. The lunch was great, but the overwhelming impression was of a beautifully presented club in a perfect location. The glass frontage allowed a wonderful view over the gently breaking waves meeting the crescent-shaped beach. It's definitely a place to visit for a drink and/or a lovely meal.

The places is great! The staff are very accomudating and polite! Ambiance is so good relaxing view.
I ordered Seafood Marinara and the worst Marinara i had ever so far! To much Sauce it looks like soup marinara! Please dont give a Spoon for the Marinara give a FORK! ?

The views of the beach are amazing.The venue itself is very clean and well presented.The staff are friendly.They really need to improve on the food quality though for the prices they are charging.We are there twice whilst on our holiday and we were surprised at the food coming out two minutes after ordering.On the two occasions myself and partner felt disappointed with the quality of the food.It was just average and on one occasion my schnitzel and chips seemed dehydrated and old.It wasn't heated up too consistently either.

An awesome experience. Opening night at the new 'Salt & Spencer' restaurant and the following day cafe - lunch. Sitting right in front of the ocean enjoying beautiful food and drink. This 'Salt & Spencer' restaurant is a massive plus to the local dining scene. Recommend you book. Cafe open daily and the restaurant Wednesday to Sunday evenings inclusive. 5/5 Thanks, Ken and June.

Stunning location, great place to visit. Superb views has good parking available. Don't expect 5 star food or perfect cocktails, it's good however they need professional hospitality staff to justify prices for what you get served up. Go for the view and a beer it's 100% Stunning. Will be back for sure.

visited the golf club, and despite it still being under construction, it's a fantastic venue. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. However, I did find the food a bit disappointing; I ordered the parmigiana, which was a bit dry and overcooked. On the bright side, the desserts were a delightful surprise! I'm looking forward to returning once construction is complete.

Love going to this restaurant with the million dollar view. Love that there is Lambs Fry on the menu.

Food is decent, beer is lovely. View is out of this world!

Staff were lovely and service was great.

Views back over the beach are lovely, but our party found the food pretty mixed.

Look it wasn't a bad experience, it was just a little expensive and not all the meals really measured up. I had the fish and chips (less chips) and I feel like they gave me an extra salad to kind of "fill in the plate". Oysters were lovely but.

The stellar part of this club is the view back over the beach but. If you can snare a window table on a nice day, there isn't a better place to eat in Mollymook!

Another positive is the bar wine menu which is both well catered and well priced. Winning there.

Overall we would happily come back again!

Another "large club" which provided an underwhelming experience.

Goods - obviously the location. It's hard to fail with such a view and the large glass windows provide expansive horizons.

Some of the fish dishes were very good, esp the baked ones. However given they have some very very stiff competition locally, this should be expected.

The Blah - the club setting. Despite the views, they have rammed as many tables as close as possible to the windows. It creates a very noisy, very cramped experience.

Food, not baked fish, is not as good. Burgers were dry and over cooked - quite bad actually. Other options not impressive.

They also delivered the mains over a period of 20 mins - we had 8 in total, and the first person had finished eating before the last had been given food. This is not good.

Wine list @ the bar is good. But in 2023 only having one (not v good) non-alcoholic beer is poor. Most bars have at least 3 options.

The bad..... KENO screens everywhere. You can't get away from them. I don't want to watch a stream of numbers. In fact these ruin the view. Look up and you get an eyeful of Keno. Given the food prices, and that no one eating food in a bistro setting plays this, why have they got these screens.

Staff - staff are terrible. They have no knowledge of the menu. We asked what the special pastas were and got just "penne". Nothing more. Also they are rude, no basic manners.

Whenever we head down this way, we always have a meal or two at the club. It has certainly changed over the years (our first visit would have been back in the late 1990s when the dining was mainly downstairs. COVID certainly changed the way the restaurant operated, however their food choices have pretty much remained the same. pricing is reasonable considering the location and views for a couple, whereas a young family of 4 or more may find it expensive. bar and wait staff have always been in my opinion efficient.

Great par 3 (apart from one par 4) 9 hole course. Could be played with only a few clubs, would recommend getting the fancy golf carts that tell you how far you are from the hole with a built in touch screen and GPS. The restaurant is a fairly standard club style with ocean views.

We celebrated a family birthday here on a Saturday night in a big group of 40ish people. Staff were really helpful by reserving a great area for us by the window. Views out to the beach are beautiful. Menu had lots of popular bistro classics so something to please everyone although would have liked a couple more vegetarian main meal options. Food was all really well prepared and presented, generous servings and tasted good. All the wait staff are happy and welcoming and seem to really enjoy working here, particularly Bree who was super attentive and accommodating. They were even kind enough to let me charge my Tesla for a couple of hours, slow charge but still nice of the club to accommodate. Would definitely come here again.

The $15.00 lunch special needs to be chosen wisely to get the 'better deal'. Mine was excellent, others at the table not so much!

Staff constantly cleaning away plates and cleaning tables. Always good to see.

Five course dinner downstairs at Mollymook golf club was superb! On arrival we were greeted with sparkling wine. The table settings were beautiful, diner and service was the best. Hopefully this will be a recurring occasion.
It's lovely to be treated like we matter! Well done.
We had a bad experience at the Guild recently that cost a lot of money, this was definitely value for money. Well done!

Food is very expensive and pretty much tasteless ( flavour less)
Service is lack lustre ( staff looked bored)- at least the cashier ( when we ordered the food) made an effort by saying a perfunctory " enjoy your food" comment!

1 star is for the location which is right by the beach in Mollymook

It would've been nice if you can sit by the window overlooking the view, but that is only 'reserved' for larger group tables

there's a lot of restaurants serving awesome food in Mollymook( Milton area) which we discovered the next day so will not recommend going to this place to eat

Awesome golf course. Must play if you're in the area. Back 9 holes are the best with 11 & 12 as my personal favorites. Couple of blind tee shots so course knowledge comes in handy. Similar for the approach on the 7th where the green is very long and narrow (tricky to see when you're playing your approach shot) , Whilst distance does help, accuracy remains key. Stay on the fairway and you'll have a nice round of golf :) enjoy !

We absolutely loved it! The view is amazing and the food was delicious as well as being generously sized. We'll definitely be heading back.

Great spot for a lunch or dinner. Their food is great value for money with some delicious options for all- including kids menu and vegetarian options. Wine and cocktail list is also long - so perfect to cater for all group sizes.

What a great spot. Fantastic service, biggest surprise was the food. Absolutely delicious. Could have been in a high end Restaurant, but at half the price.Thanks, an hour away for us, but a definite must go back.

The nicest staff! We didn't have a booking but the staff made sure that we were still able to sit down and have dinner. Thank you. We'll definitely be back.

Disappointed!!!Arrived in a group of 6 looking to have lunch.Seated with menus and a table number but NOT told the kitchen was closing in 5 minutes.When we could not order lunch as the kitchen was closed - the very unpleasant manager was unapologetic.Such a lovely venue deserves competent staff.
