If I could give a 0 star rating I would!

We went for a family dinner on Tuesday 10th December.
When the food came out the order was wrong.
We ordered crumbed lamb cutlets which came out as BBQ pork cutlets. When they finally brought out the "right order" we then realised they were crumbed pork cutlets.
I order a steak medium well it came out so over done it wasnt edible so a waste of $42!!!!
The young girl collecting plates took a plate from my nephew who wasn't finished eating. She then came back 3 more times asking to take out plates even while we were still eating!!!

The bartender was the next issue I go to order a coke in a middy and she tells me she can't do that as it's illegal! Not once in my life have I ever heard that nonsense. I hold my RSA & RCG! So when I asked why it was "illegal" she had no answer.

We went to the RSL as the service and food are usually really good. But it was such a let down that I won't be returning.

The bistro was good,yummy and polite. Sadly could not say same for female bar staff. Was polite but really need the men back as they were great personalities eg Andrew

Was great for the schools talent show In the function room, great plat space for the littler guys when board and had enough of the talent show

I went for Dinner with my granddaughter last night 3/8/24 and sadly my meal was terrible my veggies were cold and under cooked seemed like they were just put on the plate without being cooked.My steak was so rare that was on top of my veggies that the blood was draining from my steak onto the veggies I find it is very hit and miss at the club these days. But I will definitely say my granddaughter thoroughly enjoyed her meal and said it was really good. You would seriously have to convince me to go back again.

I was contacted by the manager of the Bistro Kal and he apologised for my experience with my meal. I returned to the Bistro last night 10/8 and my meal was on the house I had the super food salad with prawns and I must say it was amazing. I just want to thank you Kal for your service and the courtesy to phone me and follow up with my experience.

Tuesday night deal of 300g rump steak with either mash and veg, or chips and salad for $22. The cut was good and cooked perfectly. Also had a garlic, herb and cheese bread which was pretty good also. If everything else on the menu is like this, I highly recommend if you're after a pub/club style meal
