I'm going to suggest that you consider eating elsewhere. 4 of us ordered at the same time. The one who ordered last got her food first. There was a 30 minute wait for the first meal ordered and that was the same meal as the the last one which came out straight away??? The asparagus goats cheese and lamb salad had no asparagus, goats cheese or lamb and they charged extra for sauce on the wings and made quite a fuss over us wanting 2 sauces. A very poor experience.

Went for lunch with my family on 4/7/24.
Food was absolutely horrible.
Snitzel was very small, was more so a kids meal.
Mushroom sauce was that runny it soaked into the snitzel crumb.
Lychee cocktail was so bad i couldn't even finish it.(tasted like straight alcohol, burnt to drink)
I'm a local and have had my fair share of feeds at this club. Something has changed in the last few months here and its not for the better.

Four of us went for dinner on Friday night, none of us enjoyed our meals. When we finally got them after having to ask if our buzzer was working as we had waited so long and there wasn't even a lot of people there. All our meals meals were cold. The calamari was over cooked, our friend couldn't even eat it. And they forgot our garlic bread. Not a pleasant experience, we won't be going back next time we visit Mudgee but the singer was pretty good.

We had a lovely dinner on a Monday night. The lady behind the bar was so friendly and helpful. The food was good also. The only area that could use improvement is the front reception counter. It certainly wasn't a warm welcome.

Went here for dinner tonight chips were cold and not many schnitzel was extremely dry looked more like a kids meal then adult meal pasta to salty onion rings overcooked and cold will never be back and will never recommend absolutely awful and very disappointing. Just read some previous reviews from this club where the management requested people email their particular concerns clearly they have taken no notice at all with what disgruntled patrons have raised and they wonder why people don't bother ?

Had a chance to go to club Mudgee for lunch with a friend on Wednesday 28/2/24 I am a social member and frequent this club because it never disappoints!
The service is unbeatable; courteous, friendly, very professional and considerate to me, my guests and my assistance dog.
The prices are very reasonable.
As for the food; we both had the special; steak, chips and salad. I would very much like to compliment the chef Jas! The steaks were both cooked to perfection! (I am quite hard to please; in my working days we owned many restaurants in Sydney) also a big thank you to Colleen for looking after us at our table and to Ang for all your consistent help always.
The coffee shop is also great with wonderful staff and yummy food, good coffee etc and gluten free offers
I will of course be continuing to frequent my beautiful club!

Went to Club for dinner last night against my better judgement as food I've had there in the past was pretty bad.I ordered a chicken burger.It was disgusting, chicken so overcooked, burnt bread roll, no Mayo and the chips were so overcooked they were terrible. Think it's time the club did something about the restaurant.

We ate here on two nights stay in Mudgee. Great food. Reasonable price. Clean environment. Awesome customers service. Thank you Vicky and Narelle for your hospitality. You made us feel welcome ?

Went for lunch Monday, oh my goodness it was disgusting I had roast of day which was pork it actually tasted worse than hospital food. My son had Parmigiana Italian the meat balls were dry and cold the chicken was deep fried until it was drier than a piece of leather, salad looked a week old.
Sorry Mudgee Club will never return or renew my membership.

Old run down environment, musty and old smelling building. Food is very disappointing! Salad tasted 3 days old, burger was too dry. My husbands mash potato was luke warm and he had to ask for it to be re-heated which was done in the microwave. Vegetables however were burnt. Very disappointed.

I was looking for something warm & hearty to eat on a bitterly cold autumn day, and the Fishermans Pie from the Bistro did not disappoint! It ticked all the boxes - piping hot, great portion size at amazing value & was absolutely delicious. It was a shame I had to leave as much in the bowl as I did. Well done!!

Clean, friendly staff, great service from Bistro.
The children enjoyed the playground. And it was great to have outdoor seating.
Toilets a bit dated and doors grubby and worn paint.
Also, Members special was not so special as you missed out on veggies and once you paid for veggies, it was almost as expensive as buying a regular meal.

Came in to celebrate my son's birthday on Easter Saturday with our family. There was 12 of us and half of the meals ordered could not be eaten. Meat was raw and schnitzel was not cooked either. Meals are not cheap either. Very disappointed as food has been good on other occasions we've come in. It will be back to the pubs for dinner.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good but get in early for a meal as the favourites run out quickly.

Fantastic meals last night probably the best we have had at Club Mudgee.5 different meals ordered and all were perfect, generous servings and very tasty. Staff are always friendly and happy. A very pleasant place to eat with a huge amount of room.

We had lunch there today, chips tasted like the oil was burnt I.e needed changing. Normally an amazing restaurant, amazing food normally. just a singular bad experience.
place is clean. lovely service.

So many different areas to sit and meet with friends, and plenty of parking with easy access. Bistro food was great and didn't take long at all. Good selection of desserts and ice cream from the soldier's cafe. Very nice refurbished areas to sit in around the club, but the toilets were very run down and dirty and could do with a revamp.

As locals we come here regularly and are LOVING the new menu and loving having Stefano and his team as chefs
The homemade pastas are amazing here . I ordered Beef Rogan josh and loved it

Good location where at the centre of Mudgee. Love the food very much! It's a bit of waiting time for the food because it's a very busy night, but it means the Club Mudgee is good! I'll be back!

Had a schnitzel today for lunch, vegetables were still frozen in the middle and the chips had hardly touched the deep fryer, the gravy was good though. I for one won't be back in a hurry.

Food is average or slightly below what would be expected at a club with the exeption of the pizza which my children said wasn't very nice. I tried a piece and spat it out, which says it all.

Took 3 elderly visitors there for lunch on Sunday. Worse food I've been served in a restaurant/ bistro.The soup was cold as though it had just left the fridge,the Tandoori chicken skewers were so dried out and burnt they were terrible, the steak sandwich was ok but had obviously been made and left standing so everything was cold and soggy.I think it will be quite awhile before I eat there again

Quite frankly the worst meal i have been served in my life.

Ordered a Grilled Salmon, Chips and Salad + Cob Loaf with Garlic and Bacon

After 1hr my food had not arrived - enquired at the desk and then arrived.

The Salmon was that dry that when i put a fork into it, it shattered and shards of desiccated/carbonised Salmon was speared around the dining room. The Chips were colder than the outside temperature (Mudgee in mid-winter so maybe above zero) - the hottest thing was my "salad" that was a few wilted lettuce leaves and some shredded carrot that was left under the heat-lamps until they were carbonised as well.

Will never eat there again.

Will never recommend it again.

If was possible to give zero stars i would as a 1 star is being generous as maybe on the plus side the toilets were clean before I had to throw up what they gave me as a dinner?

An excellent place to come and grab a meal and drink. Very relaxing environment. We visited her for a Wednesday lunch. They have half a dozen lunch specials available. Great food, and excellent staff. Very friendly environment. And clean. Good atmosphere. Plenty of parking out the front.

For the short time we were there before a extreme (15 minute) storm hit, it was great, we would have stayed longer if not for the extreme weather, we had to get back to ensure our vans we still there.
The staff were diligent in their club & covid duties, the venue & its facilities were great, while there the Bristro was also open with a light menu available

Food was good. Exactly what we needed and expected from an establishment like this. Service by the bar staff was great. Drinks were cold and refreshing and had a surprisingly good range of beers in particular. One member of staff was incredibly blunt and could improve her communication skills a little. Other than that we had a good time!

Great atmosphere within the club premises and COVID-19 protocols were at an absolute rock solid level and my family and myself felt very welcomed....

The bistro '99 on Mortimer' is less to be desired...

As a local chef within the Mudgee region, I was appalled with the food quality and the lack of professionalism that was served on the plate..

Our go to place on a Friday night. Try to get there for 5pm. Happy hour. All beers half price on tap including the craft beers! My hubby's favourite. Meals are average not horrible at all.

Once you get past Oscar and his trash can at the front desk, everyone is really friendly. Food was quite good and plenty of room. P.A system is really loud so you won't miss the members draw. Good selection and price of beer.

Ordered the $27 Crispy Skin Pork Belly (most priced among an order of 8 dishes). My dish came with a choice of Chef's Potato which was really hard as a rock. The fatty pork belly was seriously salty and the skin was not crispy (I was expecting a cracking skin).The Roast of the Day dish was better and would have been the choice.

A big club with a real friendly happy and helpful group of staff. Service is excellent and the food brilliant. So good we ate here every night. Gets busier as the week goes. Worth a visit.

Pleasant venue to enjoy a delicious bistro meal, and prices cheap for the servings you get. Great value. Came here on a Saturday night, and it's very popular.

Good for dinner we add roast chicken and only stayed a short time.

WOW, absolutely brilliant. Food, service and club is superb. Cannot recommend highly enough. Think we will be back tomorrow night before heading home. A must visit whilst in Mudgee .
