Nambucca Heads Island Golf Club

A landmark local business, beautiful riverside location and trusted drinking hole. I hear a great golf course as well. Just watch your slice.

We shared a wonderful lunch here with friends, sitting on a spacious deck with a lovely view over the river. The Club is located on Stuart Island & you drive across a causeway to park right in front. (Sign in as a guest)
Our steak sandwiches, rump & BLT were all delicious! Very tender meat. Highly recommended.

Coming from the north of England we have some fantastic golf courses. I recently had the pleasure of playing Nambuucca Head, what a lovely course, not a long course but very intimidating with its tree lined holes and water everywhere. A great challenge for most golfers, the local bar manager (Dylan an Aussie - Leeds fan, is a credit to the club). He put us on to the home made club pies from the restaurant, on the strength of eating the pies we booked a family meal that was also excellent with an outstanding course, great views, lovely staff, all for a very reasonable price. This golf course is a must.

Beaut place for a relaxed lunch. Locals and golfers patronise the Bistro. Good lunches served from efficient kitchen. Good refreshing beverages. Good view of estuary and locals popular angling area. A little tricky to access as one has to drive to the end of the public park, cross a short causeway to the golf club.

We visited the Nambucca Heads Island golf club, for a function and was very surprised how beautiful a club could be. Crossing a course way to get to the club, not just water front but on an island!! Very large area,, staff very friendly,, all the locals all happy to have a chat about how great Nambucca is and how they love living there. Large dinning areas with views over looking the water, bar areas hard to describe how good they are, inside seating and on a large veranda,, all the usual cold beverages available,, very good selection of meals and very tasty,, plenty of parking,, and the big thing it's a golf club with manicured lawns,, surrounded by the fish filled water ways. Thank you to the staff for such a great visit.. Fully recommended
