I always say, "you can not go wrong with a roast dinner from a club", well I was wrong tonight. The roast pork was dry and didn't fell real, the vegetables were cold. And there was no cracking, which makes me think the pork was not real.

The beer was ok.

And I have been coming to this RSL for years, as a half way between Queensland and Sydney . First time it was not good.

I did this review with looking at the other reviews, seems like a trend going on here.

Great meals, great prices. Special nights Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday. Curtisey bus. We joined to get members prices. Compliments to the chef and staff.

I just enjoyed a juicy tender Porterhouse steak. Cooked to perfection with great chips and salad. My second meal here in a week. Both times excellent.
Friendly staff. So nice to see.

Have recently seen the Clubs TV ads and decided to try lunch - enjoyed their $15 lunch special (fish and chips plus free drink). They have a choice of 6 different meals.

The view out the large windows over the Nambucca River was superb. Friendly from the staff as we walked in - parking available in their car park.

Don't go if you want your meal in less then 1.5hrs
Not sure what the point is of having such a large amount of tables and chairs if their kitchen staffing doesn't also reflect this?
Ridiculous waiting 1.5hrs for a main meal, for it not to be cooked correctly
Also the garlic bread. Don't waste your time on the bland calories

Where to start.
Had dinner here tonight. 5/8/23. Absolutely awful experience the whole way through.
All staff members rude and ignorant. Not sure if they were playing dumb or just genuine poor customer service all round.
Food was missing items and what was on the plate was absolutely awful. I personally had a well done steak but I think it was 2 weeks old, dropped on the floor, stepped on and then cooked in a microwave, served with brown water (I think it was gravy) and frozen veggies.
Best part of dinning experience was leaving this place.
Personal opinion, sack the lot and hire MacDonalds workers with at least 2 days experience.... They would do a better job.

We had a really good feed at the Nambucca RSL when visiting Nambucca Heads. Beautiful views of the water and delicious food. Would definitely rate the chicken parmy and the schnitzel with creamy prawns.

Great place, open space good food. Great serviceman location dug into the hill

Just a very standard RSL, why are they ask the same and so little character, food was just ok, came quickly but just ok and nothing spectacular, I always thought an RSL was where you went for a cheap meal but not any more $20 for a burger- nothing cheese there

Really enjoyed visiting this Club while out on a motorbike adventure. Very nice place, really nice staff and icy cold beer. Sat in the nice A/C on a really hot day and enjoyed the atmosphere. Stayed overnight in the Motel right next door, which I believe is owned by the Club. The staff in there were great and allowed me to park my motorbike undercover, out of the blistering sun.

The battered fish and garlic bread were pretty good, but the spring rolls were not very nice. The cocktails were a definite stand out, with great value for money! Wait times were long, but that's to be expected with how busy it was. I'd stick to the seafood on the menu in future.

The food was far below average for the price!!!!!
The kids cheeseburger didn't even have sauce on it ,it was a meat patty and cheese on a slightly burnt bun.
Such a pitty as it is a very picturesque place

Would of been better off going to the fish and chip store down the road

Short walk from the Beach rooms motel. Good service and very friendly staff. Meals were tasty and of the usual RSL size, just right for being hungry.

Really enjoyed my time here in middish afternoon, for tea and cake with a dear friend, after a movie. Beautiful views n pleasant venue generally, helpful friendly staff. I will definitely come by again !! Thank you, Helena.

Has a great view over the river. Large window to view spectacular sunsets. Couldn't do so on this occasion thanks to La Niña.
Go early for dinner. Most tourists end up here so there will be a queue!

This is a gorgeous and large club. Overlooks the beautiful inlet.
Plenty of parking
Large dinner room and surprisingly quick service from the large kitchen
Good relaxing areas around the club
Friendly bar staff who try to do a little extra for you.
You can walk into town from this premise

I love this place, good friendly staff ,it is in a great spot with great views , but it has been a while since I have had a meal here , people do say it's still quite good so I will have a meal hear next week. And will comment more on the restaurant, also there will be more photos to come. At the moment yes I do like this place. Plenty of parking including disability parking.and is wheelchair accessible , Also they have a great public boat ramp, with ? cleaning facilities.??'???

Bar staff great, as for the cafe/bistro/ cooks. It would have to be the worst service we have ever had. At 1 point the Cook had her mask down playing with her face and then served up own food. The lady with the pink hair omg she had the worst Attitude when it comes to customer service. Then to top it off was Laughted at over the complaint. Would not and will not be back.

Paid $34 for a medium steak with mushroom sauce. They were really busy chef just said so you think it is not medium so that I know for next time. I did get the mushroom sauce then but ate a very dry burned steak.

It's the place where everybody knows your name. If they don't they will find out.The staff are ALL engaging and sharing the joy. It is my club and I love it.

Nambucca RSL just did a celebration of life for my sister. I couldn't recommend them more. They were caring, sincere & just bloody fabulous. Thanks for a beautiful afternoon + the food was excellent.
