went in on a rainy day for lunch, club had a $15 lunch menu , pretty good. club area was clean and had all the amenities you need , enjoyed it

After travelling through narrabri several times and enjoying the food, I was very disappointed tonight. We left not eating much at all. Our steak tasted like it had been pre cooked? It was raw and tasted weird. It came out after only about 10 mins? Not sure if that's long enough to cook a med well steak.

Much better than I expected. I got the rump steak special at $20. Place is a bit quiet. But makes up for in friendly staff and tasty grub. I recommend it.

Food was Horrendous, wouldn't serve it to my dog and my cat would be very upset about the state of the Tuna.

This club is now Narrabri Sporties. Closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.

Food is ok moved pokies to another spot. At this stage only open Wednesday to Saturday.

This place needs help. The meal was OK but the atmosphere was "empty". Chatted to a few members who advised the club was struggling. I suggest you close one of the ends ( club in centre of bowling greens) open it up to a few caravans for limited stays...perhaps 72 hours. Look at what some country pubs and clubs are doing. You could get a bit more life in the club if you have a few travellers in the club. Good luck

We have now been two nights in a row and had fantastic good both times! The beer always nice and cold and so was the wine. Even better than the food however, was the service. Every staff member was so incredibly friendly it made our whole experience so wonderful and enjoyable. They even saved a tabke for us the second night in case we came back (lucky we did!!) Would definitely recommend and we will be back more often in the future

Very disappointed. We ordered our meal and was told it could be up to 45 minute wait , ok we werent bothered by that at all . I went to the bar to get a drink and the old man behind the bar was very abrupt So rude and said oh we are closing soon you know , we are in the middle of a drought and cant afford to run these air conditioners constantly .I explained that I also come from a drought affected rural area ,we dont even have access to town water so I know all about it trying to sympathise with him and he still remained arrogant but Wow ok we Just wanted a drink before our meal came (I kind of regretted it at that point ). My husband and I know we are not the only ones in the middle of a drought . I was very offended and a little hurt by the way he spoke to me . Dinner came and it was terrible , my meal should of had mash potatoes but instead it came with one half roasted potato that looked pretty dry and old the meat was full of fat and one piece looked like half eaten Leftovers off someones elses plate !!I think that if this business is feeling the financial pressure of the drought then maybe they should make people feel welcome so they want to come back and spend money . We sure as hell wont be going back there next time we come to Narrabri!

Standard club menu, moderately priced, but the food was a real mixed bag. The stuffed chicken was tasty but dry, however the veggies were good. The garlic prawns were well cooked and the garlic sauce was creamy and flavoursome, but the rice was dreadful. Somehow they succeeded in cooking the rice to the stage where it was watery mush, but at the same time there were uncooked grains in it. The grilled salmon was dry and overcooked, but the salad was fine. The battered fish and chips were excellent. The drinks were very well priced! It all made for an interesting night.
