Great place for lunch, good food & a great ambience. Modelled on an Australian outback homestead. There is even an indoor rainstorm lightning, thunder & even real rain.

Staff are so lovely and food is epic.

Park easy in the multitude of car parks and use the ramp or stairs into the venue.

The bar is fully stocked with beers and wines BUT they also have affordable cocktails.

Air conditioning is amazing. Super cold in summer to beat off the blistering heat outside.

Food is great. Decent size and lunch is my favourite for offerings and price.

We spent some time in the function room and the staff helped us work everything to a tee

The food is as you would expect for a club in a country town - tasty, plentiful, & they have all your club/pub favourites on the menu.

The locals obviously knew what was going on & paid no mind, but I was genuinely concerned about the sudden thunder I could hear & thought a sudden & big storm had blown in, nope, just the light show that happens every 30 minutes or so. Then there was rain inside, which was fun.

All in all, was a good night out. 10/10 would come back.

Delicious food, great atmosphere, friendly staff, a fantastic place to take family and meet up with friends. We loved the murals and the feeling in the club.

The dining area in this RSL is very, very different to any I've been to before, in a good way. It's tricky to explain but if you've ever been to a Rainforest Cafè in a Disneyland resort you'll have some idea of what I'm talking about.
The dining area in the Narrabri RSL has a wild west / outback vibe to it and is decorated with backdrops and colour schemes to match this theme. It's not tacky either. The real fun begins when the lights, audio setup and effects simulate a passing storm. Speakers throw out claps of thunder and the sound of falling rain, lights flash to mimic lightning, and if you're sitting in the area to the side that has a slight awning on it you'll get the added pleasure of the sound of rain on a tin roof. This effect is made all the more realistic by real water dripping off the roof. It is a lot of fun.
The food I dined on during my visit was well cooked, alright on the eyes, fun on the taste buds and big enough to fill most bellies. The staff were good fun and genuinely valued your custom.
This is dining with a difference, and a lot of fun. Don't ignore this RSL.

Love the multi-sensory Outback Shack with the huge mural and thunderstorms. Good service with enormous and tasty meals.

Simply Australia's best themed restaurant! The "Outback Shack" has you sitting on the veranda of an old bush house with trees, koala and snake (not alive!) and loads of bric-a-brac. Occasionally a thunderstorm starts with rain dripping from the iron roof. It really needs to be seen as it's so much fun. Food is excellent too so this is an absolute must if passing through Narrabri.

Food was excellent; however, the club staff were officious and borderline rude. Their covid enforcement is also extreme. Worst we have encountered in NSW.

Having just arrived in narrabri for the night we were really looking forward to our meal out but sadly once again we were very dissapointed. I ordered the lamb shanks and the menu states," two lamb shanks with mashed potatoes in a nice sauce, what arrived was one very small lamb shank the size of a chicken leg on about a tablespoon of mashed potatoe with a teaspoon of some type of sauce overtop. In addition i ordered chips on the side so even though the chips were cold at least i had something to eat. Couldn't fault the venue or tge service but the food was not what the menu said even though i was charged for it. To the cook " its no good enough and you need to sort it"

Outback Restaurant 'hidden' inside is decked out with all things Australia. Lighting, water and sound effects. Menu has good variety. Generous serves of fresh ingredients and well presented.

Best risotto I have had for ages, the Outback Shack has such a wonderful atmosphere, great for kids of all ages.

Small and quaint. Loved the restaurant experiemce which is designed to mimic a night in the outback complete with thunder storm and rain. Meal was basic but edible.
