We had an absolutely scrumptious meal tonight. Fast and friendly service, lasagne tasted home made, the steak was DIVINE, and the addition of ice cream & topping with the kid's meals was the icing on the cake. My husband and I are still talking about how delicious it was! Thank you very much for a lovely family-friendly experience ?

Dining room, staff pleasant , environment swinging doors to kitchen noisy. Some CRC to doors won't go astray. Meals cutlets overcooked , cutlets a lot of fat in the cutlet.

We had a work function here for Australian War Widows. The venue was great the staff extremely helpful nothing was too much for them, their assistance with the ladies was very much appreciated. Food for the luncheon was beautiful.So thank you for making our day a great one. Oh and the ladies we hosted loved it.

The place hasn't changed in many years.
Meals were quite nice and honest. Staff was friendly.
Nothing spectacular however I'd be happy to return.

I hate giving mediocre reviews and sorry no photos again, but sometimes.....staying overnight in town Ex-servicemen's clubs are usually a pretty good choice....not this time. Ordered lamb cutlets.....not lamb, they were mutton, huge and not very tasty, deep fried of course. Sloppy scallop potatoes, cauliflower, carrot and, they don't waste anything, sliced broccoli stalk. Vegetables were all barely warm. I have used broccoli stalk at home in stir-fry, but you don't use it in a food venue. Vegetables should have been sent back, but we had travelled all day and we were hungry.....we had also waited at least 30 mins for our mains. Not a great meal, but the staff were nice, although kitchen was giving them the wrong Table nos. or something, they spent half there time trying to place meals with the right people.

This place has good food except the garlic bread is three little pieces - shocking!

No service to pokies but bar staff are nice. Not many options in town, so that equals not many choices. The club food will satisfy your hunger but don't expect much more.

Was excited to get my seafood basket, when it finally arrived, the battered fish had enough cooking oil in it to service a small engine. The prawn cutlets were soggy and inedible. The calamari was sorta ok. The salad was drowned in some sort of dressing. Thinly way to eat the "battered" fish was to peel the batter off the fish and just eat the flesh. Overall, a real waste of the $28 I paid to have a small bit of fish and a bit of prawn cutlet.
Service was slow, no atmosphere. Unfortunately, one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had.

Went to have dinner as we are passing throu and we got to the door and was turned away as the distro was closed due to a function. There was no other choice but to leave. The man on the door complained about tell us were else to eat. Now that i have read other review im sort of glad we didnt have food there tonight.

Good meals on what was a really quiet lunchtime on a Monday. Generous serves for the Fish and Chips and the Chicken Parma.

Had a fabulous meal and thoroughly enjoyed it - from the specials menu - baked cajun barramundi with lemon herb yoghurt dressing chips and salad - all great. It was very reasonably priced. The wine we had was excellent quality and not expensive. Thank you for your wonderful service.

Had chicken parma,it was well over cooked and dark on the edges.the salad looked ok but what ever they dressed it with made not nice.

Sorry to review this so poor. Went here for lunch on a Sunday. First there was an unpleasant smell entering the buffet. The food that was on display in the Bain Marie looked so bad the we all turned around and left abruptly. We also noticed that people that had ordered food left most of their meal still on their plates.

Nice country club. Very cold beverages, huge lamb cutlets, and good prices.
Highly recommended.

A nice spot for dinner after driving from Adelaide. Good solid RSL menu. The meals arrived promptly. The restaurant is furnished simply. Staff friendly.

Only went to the steak house restaurant, which was great. Great meals and good size servings. Laid back staff. Lost my driver's licence checking in & they posted it back to me before I had the chance to ask. Well worth your custom.

We were at the club on the 12th February coming back from qld. We went to have dinner I ordered fishermen basket $25.00 and very disappointed that the fish wasn't fresh it was very strong fishy smell, called the girl very politely I told what was happening and I asked if I could have the lamb cutlets which was the same price, she went to the kitchen to ask and came back to tell me that I could have ONLY one cutlet to replace the fish??????? She comes with a plate one cutlet and really about 10 chips.......the girl was very nice but I was hungry and very disgusted.

Always a reliable spot for a decent club meal. I had the scotch fillet and my son had the parmie. Both good. Gets busy during holidays with travellers on their way back/to interstate locales.

Terrible, absolutely terrible! I ordered lamb cutlets, chips and salad. The cutlets where deep fried fat and gristle, over cooked and dry, with very little actual lamb, the salad was limp and drowned in dressing, the chips cold and soggy, and to top if off the wine was warm. My husband ordered the chicken schnitzel and it was the same deal. Neither of us ate our meal, went home and had a toasted sandwich. We most certainly will not go back!!!

Nobody at front entry to assist patrons with check in. My son had to help several elderly people who didn't know how. The place was like being inside an icebox. It was freezing which explains why everybody was wearing heavy coats and jackets. Definitely will not be returning to this establishment

Great staff! Excellent service!Loved the complimentary bus service, pick up from accommodation and then home again. Bar staff were lovely. Toilets very clean.Will definitely come back next time we visit Narrandera!!! Best service we have received on our journey so far since leaving South Australia!! QUALITY 5 SERVICE.

Staff went out of their way to make up a gluten free vegan meal for a member of our table. It was yummy apparently.

Delicious food. Care could be taken with the person at the door. A warmer greeting would be nice. Sets the mood for the night.

Food was excellent. My partner and I shared the Ribs and Wing meal and a Bruchetta. Everything was delicious and certainly enough for two senior citizens. My only suggestion - a finger bowl would have been helpful. Sticky fingers and paper serviettes not a good mix.

First time guest at the bistro. Loved my dinner and dessert. Great customer service and delicious food.
