We recently had our wedding at the golf club and it was amazing! Seva the events manager made the day run so smoothly! The food was amazing, the guests couldn't stop talking about it! Loved been able to have the ceremony and reception all in one space! Seva made sure that we had the most beautiful day! Could not recommend the golf club enough for a wedding location!

We came here for a late lunch. Highly enjoyable, I had a beef burger, and my other family members were also thoroughly pleased with their meals. The customer service was very good, and overall our visit here while on holidays was pleasant. The view out on to the golf course was splendid. Only downside was nearly swallowing a piece of plastic that was in my burger, thankfully I didn't swallow it, and we informed the staff and they dealt with our information appropriately, even offering us a desert to take with us.

Stunning 27 hole golf course just a stone's throw away from Nelson Bay town centre. We went on a Saturday and had an 11am tee off and whilst it was busy we still managed to finish the full 27 holes around 5pm. The pro shop staff were helpful and friendly and the facilities are top notch. The halfway house with the sausage sizzle is a yes. The restaurant has a great ambience with beautiful course views. There are also multiple showers in the bathroom so that you can wash off after and they also provide towels with a deposit. Nothing more you can ask for.

We had a kangaroo tour at the Nelson Bay golf club with "kangaroo Phil" and it was hands down the best tour I've been on! Phil was informative, having researched Kangaroos and their behaviours to ensure we learned as much as possible. We were able to stop really close to the kangaroos and saw lots of joeys. Not to mention the grounds are kept in really good condition! Such a good start to our holiday, would definitely recommend to any visitors to Nelson Bay

Great course in superb condition! The abundant wildlife is a bonus! Drinks on the balcony overlooking the course is an excellent way to finish your day. It's one of my favourite courses, even if it exacts a high price in balls-that could be down to me...

I enjoyed playing the Christmas Bush Course (holes 10 to 27). Driving accuracy is required on this parkland style course. It has a number of holes that feature narrow, treelined fairways that can catch out any errant tee shot.

The fairways were in good condition, as were the greens that rolled true.

The practice facilities consisted of putting green and warm-up nets.

The pro shop staff were professional and friendly, and the shop itself had a good range of golf equipment and accessories.

I look forward to playing this golf course again in the future.

Always good here, always feel like i'm the youngest in the room cause only old people go here. The food is good but menu hasn't changed in like... 6 years, but specials are always great!

Great place for lunch or dinner .Great menu at reasonable prices i had barramundi on a creamy risotto

From the moment we entered the door until we left, the staff made us feel uncomfortable, my daughter was asked for ID 3 times even though she was 18 and not drinking and she was also accompanied by her parents, the old bloke at the bar kept looking at us like we had two heads. the restaurant gave our table away even though we booked 24 hrs in advance we did not get to eat there, i do not think they appreciate any visitors they seem to only cater for their golf members and locals.

We paid full price to play this course, apparently a 'bargain' because they were mid week prices. When we got to the back 18, the fairways were covered in clumps of dirt. Got even better on the 12th, tractor was churning up the entire fairway. Most other areas substandard and where there was grass there was poor cover. Voiced our displeasure on return to the pro shop. They said you could have preferred lies (nowhere to relocate your ball) and we had the discounted mid week rate! Pay an extra $5 and play at Horizon up the road. A far superior experience. I have played many golf courses in my time and the country paddocks were more enjoyable than Nelson Bay. We were NOT warned about any coring before we started. When a course carries out coring it usually isn't so bad that there is nowhere to place the ball.

A fabulous place to start when you have just moved into the area. Craig the sales manager introduced me to some key ??"' people and I started with the most amazing pro golf teacher Warren! He keeps the instructions to a very simple way for me the very first timer to get it. So full of knowledge and so helpful with adjustment of swing and placement of your body. Plus how to hold the club! So important! ThankQ also for the most delicious food and catering staff plus volunteers! I won my first ever meat platter! It's a great beginning to a learning experience and social connections. That's why I am a member and will be there as a regular!

Very Welcoming friendly staff- indoor park for the kids to play while we relax,Best lunch we have had during our stay in Nelson's bay. food was delicious especially the steak burger and Parma definitely coming back here to visit again

Always excellent food. Great place to bring visitors. Restaurant staff need to be more mindful of last sitting that you don't appear to be chucking customers paying for a meal out. 8:30 and rushing to get out is nie a good look. It's about the customer experience.

We had a wonderful Kangaroo Encounter tour with Phil - he was a lovely guide who accomodated us at the last minute. The funds from the tour go towards research which is a great cause too. Would recommend this !

Went there for dinner tonight....fabulous selection on the menu....settled for calamari and whiting with chips and salad....view on the deck was beautiful complete with kangaroos...dinner was quickly served and magnificent...we'll be back!

Beautiful location for a conference. Some staff appeared unhappy to be looking after us at times.

My 1st time paying golf here. Was great I loved it. So cool seeing the kangaroos lying around the course. The clubhouse is really nice too.

Receptionist and girls taking bistro orders were lovely. The bar attendant was very unfriendly and it seemed like we were an inconvenience when we asked a question. The food very average. The bistro was meant to be open until 8pm. We arrived At 7.20 and were told they were closing early so could we hurry our order or basically we would miss out. I wouldn't go back as a visitor.

Lovely place to go for a lunch or dinner with some friends or family.

The pork belly is fantastic.
Service is good.
Loads of space and a great view during the day.

Honestly, I was a bit disappointed in our visit. The club itself is fancy and well appointed but the food was just okay. Portion sizes were decent but the menu left out several ingredients that were in the meals leading to 2 members of our party eating food they were allergic to. Luckily it wasn't an intense reaction for either of them but it was a bit disappointing that they didn't make note of all the ingredients when the menu seemed very detailed. It also wasn't very seasoned but that may be because of their usual clientele being a bit older.

Nice golf course, kangaroos everywhere, but friendly. We sharing the space peacefully.

I've been visiting Port Stephens for almost 40 years now and ever since I started playing golf I've loved this course.

The 27 hole golf course is excellent and the club house offers amazing views over the course with excellent food.

Covid destroys the seating near the windows so the scenery isn't able to be fully enjoyed with all your friends. (Limited seating)

A great place to play, 27 holes with a test for all levels, then relax in the clubhouse that has cold beverages, hot food and a panoramic view of the region.

Beautiful club in a spectacular setting. We had a wonderful afternoon event here for a 70th birthday. The staff and management are so amazing, everything was just so easy. The catering was perfect, the food was delicious, everyone was impressed. The locals said that they will be back.

Food was appetising and portions were enough to satisfy.I had the duck which I wouldn't normally have and it was delicious. Even my fussy eating daughter poached some of my plate and declared she would have it next time.Atmosphere was relaxed and not unbearably noisy which makes for a nice evening.

The course is challenging. The clubhouse is great with good food and comfortable indoor settings including big screens for the footy. But it's very busy n watch out for locals who hit up on you if groups in front of you are slow.

I dine out 2 times weekly, mostly at clubs. I have never been to a club that has an exciting and delectable menu as this club. It offers a large variety of gourmet meals equal to many good restaurants.Meals are served in the dining room and it is fair to say that you receive quality restaurant meals at bistro prices.I can only wish that this club was closer to where i live.On top of all this you have the amazing views over the golf course through enormous glass windows...
