Usually our go to place for food as we'd never had a bad experience UNTIL yesterday.... My partner and I went and had lunch in the bistro, we ordered a halloumi burger and a steak sandwich. Cool. No worries. We had dim sims to start us off. Delicious actually, but then we waited over 30 mins for our mains (by this time the bistro wasn't too busy at all) people who had ordered after us all got their meals. By the time ours arrived to the table I could already see that the chips of both meals were so overcooked and turning that dark brown colour, my halloumi had turned hard and it was like chewing on a sandal and my partners egg on top of his tiny piece of steak had turned into a hard rubber type of texture, it was obvious that our meals had been sitting under the bain marie for quite some time.... We were starving so tried to eat some of it but couldn't stomach it. Ended up with stomach pains and both became super nauseous after we got home. Incredibly disappointed. Possibly new chefs because it was super great food every other time and we've been coming for the last 8 years travelling 40 mins for lunch and dinner but after this disgusting lunch we will not be returning. $65 wasted.
