I have been here a few times now and had a pretty good time overall. The kids meals are pretty good value with a drink and icecream. Steaks are great only point would be chips needs a little seasoning. The RSL itself is quite large and has an amazing kids play area, so if it's family friendly you're after you'd be hard pressed to look past this place.

The impacts of your selfish decision to turn the sports field into a money making pit could mean an end to:

- The 1000+ Carlingford Cyclones members to have somewhere to train and play all year round.
- The 700+ kids THIS FRIDAY having somewhere to play their summer sports.
- The 6 games per time slot, a minimum of 4 time slots, 2 times a week.

But Jim Morris says that TG Millner doesn't get used enough and that the top fields haven't been used in years??

Maybe he needs to get out a bit more and have a look at what is going on in the real world!

Went for poker. Had lunch and ordered the cheeseburger supreme. Waited 25 mins for it and I ordered when it was quiet. I could pretty much count the chips on the plate. $21 for a small burger and very small handful of chips is a bit of a rip off. Had dinner at the bistro and I only waited 8 mins for a schnitzel and they were flat out. Food was much better there

Good food at the bistro, good coffee & real good cakes, friendly staff.. Great music ? Came to watch some bands, had a great night. Perfect spot to have the bands.

Bad experience with House of Tong (yum cha). We ordered 7 dishes at 11:45am and waited 20 minutes, the first dish came to our table. 12:25pm, still waiting 1 dish. Asked the waiter why people came and ordered food after us but their food came before us. Simply answered "don't know" and no follow up for us. Very bad experience

Went to Riverview bar and dining. I found it was delicious and very affordable. We had the roast pork and the salt and pepper calamari.

Have been here for a few kids parties. I do like the set up where the kids can play in a supervised area while the adults can relax in the dining area.

I had the chance to experience the dining at the Riverviews restaurant in North Ryde RSL. The overall dining experience fell short of expectations. The menu featured the usual RSL dishes, and despite opting for the pricey "Jack Creek New Yorker" steak, I found it lacking in flavor. The mashed potato accompanying it was bland, and I had to send it back as it was served cold. While I hesitate to give a 3-star review, the meal didn't live up to the anticipated excitement. It's unlikely that I will choose to dine there again.

We came here last year 6+ months ago and we liked that there was supervision for the kids play area and we could sit outside and enjoy some peace and quiet while we ordered the food. This second time around however the food quality has gone down and the prices had gone up. It really discourages us who aren't local to come because kids meals are $17 for non members and a simple Alfredo pasta $23 with no meat and just cream, the mushrooms weren't cooked with butter or have any flavour.
The curry was $20 and wedges $15!
The only good thing was the gelato!

Sadly husband says he's not taking us here anymore.

My friend does recommend the Chinese restaurant though.

Nice place! The food from the cafe is good and the lawn bowling field is super quality! Come here or north epping for a great lawn bowling experience.

Pretty poor quality food and the membership discounts system was not working so we didn't get the discounts on food and drink. I bought a 5 year membership prior to experiencing this and very disappointed. The hospitality staff were mostly nice and attentive to clear away dishes.

The highlight was the Tribal Zone, we got it for free instead of paying $6 due to Father's day offer. The food at Riverviews Bar & Dining is unfortunately just an average. Ordered a chicken parmigiana and the salad is tasteless, can add more dressing. The thai salad was pretty good tho it was way too salty

Love this club because of the yum cha restaurant, the birds out front, the kids play area which is the best of the north shore clubs. Food at the main restaurant could be better.

My dish is Linguine in Bosciola sauce..it tasted nice and large serving.
The place is a little dated/shabby but the view was nice and the lovely waitress/helper ( Marcello )was so friendly and helpful that I felt right at home.

Shared the Mother's Day seafood platter with my daughter. Great variety of hot and cold. Fresh oysters and prawns. Hot calamari, fish and chips. Also cantaloupe slices and grapes. Excellent quality and great price. Service was also excellent. A very friendly atmosphere ??'???'???'?

Especial thanks to all the friendly staff, starting from the enterance ,they were very helpful ,my son is autistic and usually he usaully had tantrums in new public area ,the staff treat us very politely amd help us,dinning area in riverview resturant is great and nice,
The most important toention is the playarea and the most kind and friendly staff i saw ever , they took a good care of the kids and respect every body .

easy access to parking, enough undercover parking room for all people in 3 basement. affordable price and high portions of food. kids can play in the indoor playground.
clean and tidy and the staff are kind and supportive. I paid 5 AUD for 1 year membership and the 5 years membership was 20 AUD.

Amazing Yum Cha at House of Tong!

This has to be my top pick for visiting .. so much to see from the moment you walk in , you can have a massage in one of the chairs while watching the large bird life they have , or enjoy Yum Cha in House of Tong on the top level , the have corners you can enjoy coffee or cake , you can even make a wish in the wishing well . I do recommend having a day at this venue you will not be disappointed.

They have a nice Aviary in the club.There is a bowling green there.Plenty of parking.

A great RSL club with several places to dine (Chinese or western), lawn bowls, tennis courts, fields (with a junior club), Anytime Fitness gym, aviary, children's play area, function rooms, obligatory pokies, etc.

The food is good and there is plenty of seating. It's also nice to have the option between western and Chinese food (at The Houde of Tong).

The kids always love the children's play area, which has some play machines and a big slide and ball pit area. It costs $6 for 2 hours per child. It is conveniently located next to the main eating area. It is supervised and operated by staff. Older children can go in and out, and for younger children, you are given a buzzer (like the one for the restaurant) so they can buzz you if there is a need to do so.

Riverview bar and dining on Level 2 of North Rude RSL... Where to start? Understaffed, inefficient system of taking bookings for tables whilst turning others away, QR code and app on tables doesn't work, the "manager" accosted us for daring to walk straight in and finding a seat when we should have "waited to be seated" ( the sign is completely unnoticeable, and also, it's a RSL bistro mate, get over yourself). Then the food. I knew it was average and best but today just reminded me not to bother next time. The only reason two stars were awarded here was because of the adjacent children's facilities that were again, understaffed, poorly managed and had a staff member constantly screaming at children...

This club is really spacious and had good Covid safety practice in place. Foods were good and staffs are really friendly. Great place for family day out.

June 2022, we had lunch at Riverview. Food was nice and service was excellent. Staff named Lucy was really friendly and attentive despite looking after nearly whole floor.

Menu has changed since coming here last. Prices have gone up and quality has dropped. Very small menu now too. Won't be rushing back here. Don't mind paying for quality but it was bland and very average.

Great place. Nice auditorium. Great facilities. Fabulous youth club. So many sports for kids

Sunny's service is atrocious. I am caring for my baby and 2yr old, and join the line to sign in when another adult can finally replace me, and am told by Sunny to go to the back of the queue even when I explain that I am part of the same party and being signed in by the same member. He proceeds to ask the people behind me if they will allow me to sign in (they understand and have no issue). Learn some manners Sunny! How rude are you!

Really big and nice place ready for a big range of activities. Good food that's a plus. It will be our wedding venue.

It's such a convenient place to dine out and to have a larger gathering. The friendly staff meet you with professionalism and are extremely helpful. Lots of food choices and different seating to suit your mood. Bush views, water views, indoor, outdoor. It's inexpensive to become a member and takes only 10 minutes. Then you can enjoy a reduced price on all your food and drinks. The meal sizes are not too much, vegetarian selections and if you wander downstairs, there's a good selection of sweets and coffee to round off your meal. The restrooms are clean and spacious, there are lifts and wheelchair access. The service is pretty fast too, even when it's packed. The staff ensure everything goes smoothly. And don't forget to visit the giftstore and bird Avery which are added highlights.

Sydney Backgammoners club is getting popular day to day. We are 26 people playing from 6:30 to 11pm every Wednesday.I really love RSL crew, they are supportive, polite, funny and friendly.A great collection of bears and quality wine.Cheers

Nice place to meet up with friends. The "special" dish on that day was Fish & Chips which was really good. Good place to relax and have a few drinks.

Excellent Restaurant, My husband and myself we order the special Sirloin Steak and ribs , and I can tell you , I give it a 10/10 to the food plus the playground is excellent for toddlers and all age kids and the aviator they have on the entrance of the club is super nice too see , is so relaxing. One of the best places for having lunch or dinner and all family can enjoy 100% Recommended.

North Ryde RSL has a small kids indoor play area, Not a bad little place but children under 2 need to be with adult supervision at all times.Has a small ball pit and some climbing areas with slide. Bar area is close, but you cannot sip and watch children at the same time.

Wish i could give 10 stars on my review.I came to the club with my wife.Service was amazing from staff member Dale at front of club.He helped us in with the QR code as my mobile was almost flat and my wife left her mobile at home.Food was great.Dale even went out of his way to say on our way out, i hope you enjoyed your evening at the club and see you soon.We never get this kind of service at other places.Thank you for the amazing service.

Amazing club and food. Bird Avery on the side entrance of club, very nice.Served by a guy called Dale at the foyer was amazing and very helpful to get us into the club. He even ask if we know where we are going and was willing to answer any questions as this our first visit.Been to other clubs and they are not so welcoming and helpful.Thank you Dale and all staff for great service.You made our day at the club.
