Old fashion county town RSL - loved it like stepping back into the 70's great service - clean and tidy and food was delicious- on time and reasonable price - loved the ode to our amazing Australian soldiers held every evening and everyone stood and was silent - loved - a must stop

Excellent food, plenty of it, cost is reasonable. Chicken breast and chicken schnitzel are highly recommended

Not a bad club for a small town. Had the cutlets for dinner, okay but not five star, you would have to expect it. Overall very good.

Restaurant only has 1 chef on at a time. Doesn't give them enough rest in between shifts. Wakes them up to tell them they have to cover for someone because one other chef doesn't work nights because she "goes out at night". Chefs work until they are black in the eyes and almost dead. It's a safety hazard. Managers don't care about food or their workers. There was produce left in the fridge for over 3 months, food rotten, cross contamination. Absolutely disgusting place to eat.

Very disappointing. Vegetables were cold and soggy as if they had been in bain marie for a week. Mushroom sauce was glug.

Waited for more than 45minutes for food after ordered.

Ordered entree, main meal came out no entree, when I asked where it was she said oh sorry we run out do you want a garlic bread?? No thanks I'll have my money back ( why would anyone order a entree to eat with your main??) Food was over priced and not enjoyable vegetables were extremely over cooked and mushy, gravy (cost $2 on top of cost of meal) was so thick and cold and asked for it on the side as I do not like soggy food but it was put all over meat and chips. Other meal ordered gravy as well it came on the side and was not plain gravy not sure what type it was but also thick and cold. Very disappointed after reading reviews that said food was nice and affordable. $82 for meals that we only ate as we had travelled all day and were starving but as they say you will eat .... if you are hungry enough.

Just about the only place you can get a lunch meal in this town. All pubs closed. The place is very dated and old style but l guess the whole town is like that. Meals where ok and affordable which is all you want really.

Good basic food one expects from a country club. Friendly service and quick meals. Great fresh salad. Only criticism is all the empty plates being left at the tables.

Walked into the bistro and saw the veggies sitting in the warmer. I instantly thought of the usual bistro wet, soggy and overcooked mush that most call veggies. Wow was I wrong!! The veggies with dinner we're crisp and delicious. I could have eaten a whole plate of them alone. The venue is dated, but worth a look if you're after a good feed or a cold drink.

Friendly and served a pretty good meal. I would like to see this club practice the Service Ode in the evening. I was surprised. The club is large and open with a lot of other things happening within its walls. The beer is wonderfully cold.

Great vegetarian options. Roasted veggie salad and pasta were delicious and generously portioned. Second night, same order, but not up to the same standard. Despite its simplicity and looking a bit dated, it didn't interfere with being a wonderful place to catch up for a reunion. Really friendly community.
