Meals are just average some far to expensive and often overdone and tastless.
Why were all tables near the window reserved for lunch on the 25 july???
No one came for quite some time, i thought the diggers restaurant is for all members.
The elderly white haired lady from the staff got quite angry when I wanted to sit there even so the sign was gone. I felt like walking out instead of eating there, not a good atmosphere

Joined the club tonight. Both the rear and entrance receptionist where very welcoming, helpful , and pleasant in communication and there roles. Both the bat attendant and bistro servers where again very pleasing, and Joyful.
My order arrived promptly and was placed with politeness and a smile.
My garlic cheese bread was as expected.
My chilli garlic linguine was a good size and looked promising.
There where amble large prawns easily accommodating of one person.
Where I feel improvement could be made is in the flavour.
Unfortunately it was very bland , pasta was cooked well but quite gluggy, there was no seasoning and no heat or bite from I assume either dried flakes or chille powder .
The cheery tomatoes had no sweetness .
This dish with these ingredients all can take and need strong and powerful flavours as to boost and highlight the flavour experience.
Fresh chill and basil with a touch of roasted garlic would really pull this dish together and make it an explosion of flavour and texture.
I do look forward to returning and trying other dishes due to the great welcome and service and the pleasing ambience and environment.

We lunched at the cafe for the week during a bridge tournament and had an excellent choice of dishes to try. Great value for money

The cafe offers large old fashioned milkshakes and delicious cakes. The restaurant Diggers also has some decent dining options.

For something fancier, head upstairs to the Greenhouse, where you can enjoy nice cocktails, live music, and a family-friendly atmosphere. The club is clean, has plenty of parking, and is overall a great spot for both casual and special occasions. Highly recommended!

Nice little club in orange. We had breakfast here and it was nice here. Very quite when we went so not many people seems to visit on a weekday. Plenty of parking and toilets are nearby. Food prices and waiting times are reasonable

Have had pretty good meals generally at services clubs. My husband enjoyed his steak which was cooked medium as requested. I had the roast of the day, lamb with veggies, gravy etc. it arrived cold, sent it back, same meal returned, still cool, but gave up. The kitchen was not busy so I don't know what's going on. No apology from staff.

Do yourself a favour... steer clear. You are better off giving your money to a flying pig.
On arrival, we were not welcomes in a friendly way, no hello, just asked if we have signed in already today.....
Went to the Bistro. Ordered fish and chips, got 2 pieces of fish (surprised) 1 was inedible due to being powdery, chips were hard. Lamb cutlets were thin and dry, gravy was cold,
Pizza was dreadfull and slimy,
Cheesy pasta had way too much cheese which made it unpalatable.
Chicken Burger was dry and chewy the Bacon was horrible.

The drinks tasted watered down, the lemonade was like carbonated tap water, the lemon, lime and bitters was more like pink lemonade.
Cups were dirty.

Needless to say the food and whole experience was extremely disappointing.

Had a great meal, lost some money on the pokies but overall great night until the Lady on the front reception desk could not be any ruder if she tried. My two guests there had to walk outside as her insulting and very rude attitude they could not cope with. A manager had to come in and deal with it as it was all over the courtesy bus, we asked for at 8.50 however we were told we could request it any time before 9.00pm.
I hate to complain about anything because I'm far from perfect and also work in hospitality. However, you just can't treat good customers this badly. Our night out was totally ruined. The front reception desk is all about making patrons welcome coming in and going out. Will never set foot in this club ever again or recommend it. Absolutely appalling customer service. Date 15th October 2023.

On the menu it said marinated chicken wings. They were not. They where baked and had the sauce put on them 2 stars. The chips and gravy was great 5 stars. Food came out quite fast considering how busy it was.

We arrived at 6pm order and waited until 7.10pm for garlic bread after we spoke up about our meal being late as the customers beside us had got their meal before us and they'd only arrived 30 minutes after us, then our meals came out within 5 minutes later an they were cold an poor services all round

Rang ahead just about food? Lovely staff member gave me the right info. Had a great meal and a cold draught beer, all good.

Had a lovely dinner date here. The food was fantastic, great atmosphere and well spaced tables so we didn't feel boxed in and overwhelmed by other guest. Very clean and well organised. Staff are great

Was there for a work function. Staff were lovely. Layout and conference room was good. Food supplied was OK.

Chips were cold, salad was wiltered as it was under the schnitzel which was thankfully cooked. The gravy wasn't very warm. Pizza dough wasn't cooked through so only the topping was edible. Expensive given you couldn't really eat it. Very disappointing.

This is a really good Club. Attended a function here and was astounded to see what they had to offer as there just always seemed to be more. It was literally not until the second day that I discovered the rooftop area and Piano bar, and what a spectacular area it is. I was surprised and impressed by this Club. Definitely try and find your way to that rooftop area if you can.

Had lunch at diggers bistro Fish was nice chips bit dry but for the price it's well worth it

Garlic bread was wrong order and was supposed to come out as entree but came out with main but was cold and inedible. Pizza was good. Overall atmosphere was average. Not child friendly and other than restaurant there is no where to sit that isn't TAB gambling area.

Went there two nights in a row after Bathurst, staff were really friendly and signed us in no worries. First night meals were good, bangers and mash was spot on after a day at the track next night chicken schnitzel consisted of a 2mm slither of chicken breast surrounded by thick over cooked crumbs. It was like the chef put a chicken breast through a ham slicer and turned it into 10 schnitzels. I have never seen anything like it. Mash was ok and carrots could have done with another 5 mins cooking. Will try somewhere else tonight.

My first crumbed lamb cutlets and they were great! The reimagined prawn cocktail was also excellent

Nice club, bistro reasonable priced if you stick to the specials but the wine and drinks are robbery so if you like snitzel and a glass of water this is the place for you.

Huge meals both meals were pasta and delicious. If you like the pokies it's great as the whole club is full of them. Clean and newly renovated but not much else going on

If you want a selection of food there is plenty to chose from. Excellent staff friendly supportive of each other. Overall customer service was exemplified

Happy to revisit in future. Friendly, well priced tho some food needs revising by ' chef'. Doesn't live up to menu promises!

Tried to book into diggers for dinner told I don't need a booking. We turn up first question do you have a booking waited 15 minutes after telling them we rang to be told we didn't a booking. Got a seat waited 1 1/2 hours for our meal after ordering it. Veggies not even cooked nearly totally raw. Overall disappointed . Offered a free drink as we waited so long for meal. Then told we close at 8.30pm our meal served at 8.10pm. Won't be coming back anytime soon

The bistro was top notch. Probably no surprise for Orange, but still a bit of a surprise for an ex servos. I had the burger, which was a tasty classic. The rest of the menu looked good.Some decent beers on tap but nothing especially exciting. Poured well and fresh though.I couldn't find a main bar - just the bistro and Cafe. There was another bar but it was absolutely full of pokies. Not my cup of tea.I would absolutely go again for the food, but didn't feel like a place I would just have a few drinks. However, they do have another bar, the Greenhouse, which looked nice. It was under renovation at the time of my visit.

Went out to dinner with friends on Saturday night, the food was good as was the atmosphere. Lots of people having a good time. They had a band playing great music, would have loved to dance. Overall a great night out.

Great sirloin steak, awesome veg and mash. Really satisfied and the two ladies that served us Jenni and Kerry were lovely. Thank you, definitely come back to this tidy, welcoming environment. Thanks to the chefs for the meal, outstanding

Then when ordering the lady taking the order was more interested in gossiping to the lady beside her than acknowledging us. Other people beside us also mentioned staff standing around and having a gossip.
Quite sad as it is a nice club and the food was awesome. Some staff or management training is needed.
