Venue was good but not happy charging $32.00 for carbonara with only 4 prawns was poor since then I had garlic prawns $28 had 12 king prawns venue in dalby

We were passing through 29/08/24 and stayed at Spicers caravan park for that night. The only place that appealed to us was your club. We ordered the steak special for $22 and was the best steak we had for such a long time. The Suez chef looked worried when I asked to speak with him, I let him know how perfect the medium rare and my husbands request for rare was amazing. We did not get the young Suez chefs name, however if he sticks with his job he will go so far. Gordon Ramsey would be delighted ? thanks for a amazing steak ??'?

What a sorry disappointment the food was here.
Family visited from 10 hours away, so we went here for my daughters 1st birthday for lunch.
Cost 170 for 6 people. (6 mains) and 1 entree.
Not including the drinks.
The bruschetta looked sad and lifeless, was tasteless and bland.
The prawn pasta was overly cheesy, too strong flavoured.
Loaded fries were with fake cheese, and I thought were gross.
The wings were spicy, not ideal if you don't like/ want spice.
Chicken salad was enjoyed.
The parmigiana, loaded was alright but just alright.
Probably the best meal of the day and I personally didn't think much of it.
The salt and pepper squid was an absolute rip off. Terrible taste, overcooked and full of chips. About 10 small pieces of battered squid and was completely disappointing. Especially for the price.

Do not go here for food!
Especially if you're paying such exorbitant prices, it's an absolute rip off and insult.

The kids area was good, but not everything worked.
The service was droopy with the staff seemingly moping around.
No clear signage for baby rooms.
No one to greet you upon entry.

The place is not what I remember it was a few years ago when visiting with fond memories.

We will never come back here, and I'd suggest people try elsewhere before stopping here.!

Grabbed a steak here the other night, think they tend to overcook it so adjust accordingly when you order. If you want medium rare order rare, if you want medium order medium rare, etc.

Otherwise, pretty standard cuts nothing to write home about but not much to complain about either. Maybe a bit on the thin side.

My husband and I arrived last night at 840 to have a meal, They said that the bistro closed at 830 and they had already packed the till up so they didn't even have a till to serve anyone. The staff were standing around talking and didn't even acknowledge us until we spoke. Poor service,rudeness with a non caring attitude.

Went to see Taylor Rodriguez here. Good venue. We were seated at the very back of the room but could quite easily see the show.

All staff were helpful & polite. Food was great. Pleasant atmosphere.

The food was just OK here - I would not really consider returning. Also, there were kids running around between the tables and in and out of the kids' playground, so we quickly ate and left. Disappointing after a 1000km drive and wanting a pleasant 'local' for dinner and a quiet drink.

Great service and friendly staff and cold beer and hot lovely meals. We will make sure we go back

Most disappointing experience tonight!
Waited an hour for our meal and the temperature was so hot I couldn't stay to eat it.
Wouldn't recommend the club as a place to dine.

No Reschs upstairs at least. I had to wear my running shoes and take my hat off given it's a club but they allow thongs and hats which is great except I looked really cool with my joggers on.

The main chef, I think his name is Gavin, was just so lovely. He delivered our meals personally because there was quite a delay due to how busy it was due to Elvis festival. The food was exceptional, and I really appreciated the personal touch. Thank you for providing us the best service and experience we've had in Parkes.

Just perfect dinner

Amazing, I go to many restaurants and bars and leave very few being impressed, old fashioned country values great meal sizes and choice of take home containers. To me if I can't take it my meal home I don't return.
Will be returning every family trip to Melbourne 3-4x a year

Food was ok. My problem was there was a young man, maybe late teens that was working in the restaurant. He was wearing gloves and a hat but he had really thick wavy hair coming out from under his cap but NO hair net. Then the chef comes out touches his face and nose with his hand, then continues to plate up someone's food using his hands without washing them and no gloves. You would want to hope that a health inspector doesn't eat there cause I would shut you down.

Good people, good honest food with reasonable prices, we'll be back.

I was visiting friends locally and we decided to lunch here after a Sunday morning recital. What a great club! It wasn't very busy although we were there just before 12noon. We ordered and in about 20 minutes the food came. There were 2 roast pumpkin salads ordered, one without dressing which made it a gluten free meal. It was fantastic! Pumpkin, pine nuts, spinach, feta cheese, just delicious! Another had a chicken schnitzel with pepper sauce which she raved about. The kids had chicken nuggets and chips and the other had fish tails and chips. Both of them cleared their plates too. We weren't drinking or gambling, so can't comment on those areas, but the food was great and the wash rooms large and clean. Highly recommended.

Lunch was delish but we had 8 in our group. All ordered on one buzzer. When buzzer went off only 2 meals were cooked. We waited patiently when buzzer went off 5 meals were ready. So one child had to wait again for their meal.
You think that would be the last of our bad luck but no. We ordered dessert and after a long time, we went and checked how it was going. The answer was, "Oh you want it now, well just start making it for you" Are you kidding.

Went for dinner great food reasonably priced. Masks were worn on entering , QR code. Not many people there but it was relaxing.

Good fish, but nothing fancy. Fantastic kids space in dining area with enclosed gate. The kids had loads of fun and gave us time to enjoy our meals. Would definitely dine here again.

This place was amazing. The locals were so welcoming and friendly and made you feel right at home. The place was efficiently run and the food was great. Just a short walk from the Astro Dish Motel.

Was there with family who traveled 3 hours to see me while im working away from home. Made a booking and we thought we were sitting at our table, had checked with staff. Copped a mouthful from another staff member as there was two bookings but one reserved table. When explaining the situation, said staff member went to the person we checked with and gave them an earshot as well. People dont need to be treated like that, nor do fellow workmates and the poor excuse given was even worse. Being busy is not an excuse for treating people poorly. We left and went somewhere else. Will never set foot in that place again.

Compliments to the chef, I had chicken carbonara and my husband had bangers and mash with gravy. Absolutely delicious and only $17 each! Great pokies, won money which paid for dinner which was a bonus.

Steak &Chips w/pepper gravy, Snitty w/ chips & mushroom gravy. Sides of garlic bread and onion rings. Food was amazing... Highly Recommend AA+ Sorry food looked to appetising to wait to take pics.
