Popped in for a quick light lunch and wow, best burger ever! It was about 8" high and absolutely delicious. Great steak chips that weren't greasy. Recommend the Digger burger at Pelican RSL. Lovely friendly staff too

Food horrible ?, service was poor and at 7.55pm we were told we had 5 minutes to get out as they close at 8pm. Food was out of packets and tins. The worse Chinese food I have ever tasted. I was with 4 others and would never go back as I think the food made me sick ? . My advice is to give it a miss.

One of the smaller RSLs, but big on atmosphere and service.
It's very busy during holidays and weekends.
Chinese restaurant is the best.
The courtesy bus is a must and is very efficient.
Great Sunday Raffle prizes.

I went there last night for the first time and was very impressed with the whole place. Its a hidden treasure.
Locals were friendly.
Happy hour beer prices are the best I have seen. $5.50 for a schooner.
I may be bias because I won a ham at the raffle, but this was the icing on the cake for a great club.

Friendly staff, good choice of food from the bistro or the Chinese restaurant. Nice atmosphere and easy parking across the road and access for Disability patrons. Definitely recommend a visit.

Absolutely disgusting Food!!...Not what I expected for more than $44.00.... Your Fried Noodles were burnt, the bag was totally soaked in oil and your Mixed Entree looks as if it had drowned in oil and No Sauce supplied!! Your Combination Chow Mien was a Brown watery mess!
The only DECENT FOOD which was EDIBLE that I received tonight was your Fried Rice!! The rest was thrown in the bin as your food was too greasy and INEDIBLE!! Have never experienced such bad Chinese Cuisine!

Absolute rubbish, food is well below average. Stay chicken came out as satay onion, struggled to find any chicken. Crispy beef was so tough it hurt your jaw chewing it and fried rice was more like boiled rice, very bland. Location was very good and would recommend if you have children, great area for kids, just eat at the pizza place instead, pizzas were very good.

I just had the worst combination short soup
No prawns no chicken or beef or pork,
There was a couple of meat type things in the soup not sure what it was.
I will not be going back.

This is a fantastic club for families.
There is a great area outside that is all under shelter with plenty of tables.
We had a party there for my granddaughter's 1st birthday the staff cleaned up afterwards and there is also a play area right beside this so parents can watch the children.
Also the adults can then go and have a feed at the bar or at Laws Chinese restaurant there's a Courtesy bus and plenty of Raffles.
Accessible for wheelchairs generally all round great place to go.
Are used to live down in this area and I have frequented this particular RSL club for about 20 years and it's always been pretty high standards.

I was there for their Live in the Park day. It was hot & sweaty. What a lovely Club! All the Staff are wonderful. Food was good. Drinks also. Very well run. I came in from the Mudgee region for the 5 Band music day. I will definitely come here again. Loved it! ?

Great range of beers and a great Cafe with quality food.
We normally eat at the cafe and we haven't had a bad meal there yet. My wife declared that they do the best chips of any local club and I love their Large Garden Salad. Staff are friendly and very helpful and they have a massive meat raffle on a Saturday afternoon.

Not a real fan of this club. Some staff are nice but others well yer no .Chinese food was not good either fried rice is not boiled rice with mixed veg in it ,chow Min was very tasteless

Chinese food, pretty ordinary, asked for no capsicum, but order arrived with lots of capsicum, asked for another meal, but they just removed the visible capsicum and put it on another plate. Prawns with garlic and chilli came without chilli and then they wanted to charge $2 for a chopped up chilli then wanted $10 as minimum $10 on EFTPOS, they really need to step up their game

Has disability parking x 2 out front more over the road. Chinese restaurant has a nice selection of foods. The bar area also has Australian meals.

Went out for Chinese for my birthday, had the honey prawns, very nice. Food is always very nice there. Did notice the prices have gone up since last time I visited. If the food is good qwality I don't mind paying.

Totally amazing place. Friendly staff, great facilities, plus the Jeff Law's Chinese restaurant was the best Chinese meal I have had for a very long time. Delicious, fresh and tasty. Love it and will definitely go there again.

When I visited the RSL club it was so clean and tidy and the lawns were very nice From MWH

Wife & I come from Charmhaven. We love the club, it has a lovely relaxing atmosphere and it's not to big. WE love the food, especially the Squid from the cafe. I am a returned man T.P.I. EX R.A.N. We will see you again and again. Regards RAY & VAL FITZPATRICK.

Food was as good as the service. The booze was cold and fresh. Didnt get up on the slappers but I cant blame the club for that.

Great little place, just South of Newcastle. Warm, friendly staff who are quick with a yarn and some local tips. Great (cheap) tucker and an awesome joint!

Had lunch here as I craved some fish and chips. Have not visited the Club for many years. Lovely friendly atmosphere. The staff were very accommodating and kept within strict Covid 19 guidelines for health and safety.
