Paid cash on three occasions. Two at the bar. Both confusing the bar tenders who struggled to work out the change. But most disappointing was the bistro.
My first friend first ordered the tacos and asked for no mayo. The girl behind the counter said no. It comes with it. I asked for it to be on the side. It was served covered in mayo. My friend couldn't eat it. Two friends ordered the ribs. Both were that dry and tough. They had to cut the meat off the bone. It should have fallen off. When it came time to order my mother's and i's food. The girl serving. The same one. Said after ordering. When you're ready and turned her back on me. I tapped the card machine with my cash and said her machine was broken. She didn't even say sorry. My mother's lamb shank was dry and my parmigiana had a smear of sauce on it and the cheese was like rubber. I wouldn't have fed it to my dogs. Most disappointed in the whole experience.

Normally a good meal here. That all changed tonight. First, after picking up our starters, our main meals got lost, or as they explained it, accidentally cancelled. When we finally got our meals, after going to the counter to question the where abouts of our meals, three of the four meals come out cold. Once they realised that they lost our order, they were going to prepare our meals straight away. So if the meals were prepared straight away, why did they come out cold? Not even the so called Chef could answer this question. There was only one young girl honest enough to admit their mistake, which the Chef tried to put the blame on. The meals were probably nice, but when people can't take responsibility for their mistakes, and then send out sub standard food, for which you have paid good money, then the food is not so nice.
We will be thinking twice about this restaurant. And I only just renewed my membership for another 5 yrs. Not the clubs fault. Very nice club to visit. The restaurant; ???????

Always a friendly atmosphere and good food! Our server tonight, Bonnie was super helpful as there was a new menu and she expertly told us what sides etc were available.

Today Michelle and I decided that we would visit the Penrith Golf Club for lunch.
Before our visit, we studied the menu since this venue has many options catering for all tastes and dietary requirements.
I was impressed that the team took my sesame allergy into account before our visit and the kitchen was notified.
When we arrived at the club, Michelle and I browsed through the menu again and it was difficult deciding on what we would choose.
For our starter, we were interested in trying the Szechuan pepper calamari.
The calamari were seasoned well with a little spice and this dish was accompanied by a bowl of garlic aioli.
The calamari were fresh, not dry and the aioli gave an extra tangy flavour to this already amazing dish.

For our mains, I settled on the crumbed lamb cutlets and Michelle chose the Chef's signature lamb shoulder.

The cutlets were accompanied by an excellent fresh salad with vinegarette dressing and chips.
The cutlets were crisp, not dry and had plenty of flavour.
Each bite of these morish cutlets had a satisfying crunch. I found this meal to be filling and I really enjoyed this superb dish.
The side salad was fresh, and the
vinegarette dressing was slightly sweet and a little spicy.
The chips were crisp and seasoned well.

Michelle was impressed with her lamb shoulder and vegies on the side.
The lamb shoulder was so tender and succulent.
This lamb was a symphony in her mouth. I tried some of the shoulder as well and I was impressed.
The vegies were fresh and had lots of flavour.

After our meal, I wanted to try a flat white coffee, as well as a shared vanilla slice.
The coffee did not disappoint and was creamy and not bitter, just the way I like it.

I give Penrith Golf Club a ten out of ten.
The music was exactly right, the staff were friendly and the venue was pleasant.

The wake for my husband was hosted there. All of the staff were absolutely amazing, the food was perfect for the occasion with more than enough for the large crowd.

My family had a Celebration of Life at the Club yesterday. The whole experience from start to finish was wonderful. Belle was great to deal with, both her and Samantha went the extra mile to make sure the day was a success. They were composed and professional throughout and had empathy with our situation. The food package was great and there was plenty for all. Do not hesitate to book a function here. Steve.

Been coming here every Tuesday for months. Ethan is the best trivia host ever, give him a raise.
Staff are always lovely. Bar is reasonably priced.

Steak sandwich is delicious - its served on garlic bread and with BBQ sauce, so so nice. I'm not lying when I say I have literally told so many people about it.
The actual quality of the steak was bad for a like two weeks (actually disgusting), but they must have changed back to the original which was really nice! Lamb ragu is also very nice.

Only complaint is that a lot of the trivia questions are extremely hard/obscure :( would prefer slightly more mainstream questions or themed nights for trivia would be fun (eg Disney).

Very impressed. First time I have been here for many many years! The range of food looked good, and what I tasted was very nice. Looking forward to returning soon.

Went to Fitzroy Lane today - what a delightful surprise! The food was delicious - buffalo wings with maple syrup, cheesy garlic pizza and a simply stunning chocolate tart. All served with a terrific slice of absolutely stunning customer service from Belle. Couldn't have enjoyed it more - 10 out of 10 ?

Held my nephews birthday here and I could not fault anything. The food and service was amazing! Brent and Belle were the absolute best on the day and Samantha was amazing to deal with too. Best place to hold any event.

Had my nephew's 1st here today, and everything was just perfect. Never had to look far for assistance/help. Belle and Brent and the rest of the workers were super helpful, so happy with service, Food..Food was so yummy! Thank you Penrith Golf Club was so beautiful, indoors and outdoors. Belle is amazing. She goes above and beyond for my client, her grandfather and myself. She always has a smile on her face, always super welcoming and friendly and she makes this venue absolutely lovely to attend. All the staff at this venue are amazing and generous and we love coming here every Wednesday

Such a nice little club! They've done a great job on the renovations, and I like the menu. Good options for a non-meat eater like myself, and hood options for hubby who is one. Very friendly staff. Win win!

The pro shop server was one of the rudest people I've ever spoken to on the phone. As if my call was the biggest inconvenience of his life. Condescending and arrogant and that's fine. If you're so busy and I'm so silly for not booking weeks ahead for this period, there are plenty of other places to play.
Customer service abilities = 0 stars. Place looks nice though and is a good price.

Love coming to this venue for unch and drinks with family and friends, I would recommend to add somewhere that you can purchase a coffee and cake from times the bistro is close.
I love to have a coffee and cake not sitting drinking alcohol .

Do not recommend golf course.
It was my partner's birthday and we had planned to play some golf to celebrate however we were turned away by the staff member (Ray) at the counter because we did not have a set of golf clubs each, only my partners. We understood this may be the club's policy but it has never been a problem for us before. Nonetheless, as my partner was leaving the staff member (Ray) made a very condescending comment towards us which I am completely appalled by. This comment was not necessary and was quite disrespectful. My partner is a regular client of this Golf Club however we are extremely disappointed especially since it was on his birthday. This would not be a good reflection on the quality of services provided to your clients. An email was sent in regards to this experience, however, three months has past and we have not been given any response.

Enjoyed playing this fair but challenging golf course. The fairways were in good conditions considering the amount of rain in recent months, although, golf balls still plugged on some holes. The greens rolled mainly true at a constant speed.

From what I could see, the practice facilities consisted of putting green, grassed driving range and warm up nets.

I look forward to playing this course again in drier conditions.

A club should know how to cook a steak.. this steak was still mooing when it came out "medium rare " apparently.. and we also ordered mash and vegetables which looks like mash and salad ???" pubs should know how to prepare basic meals !! Thanks!!

Just spoke to "Johnathan " from the proshop. He was very rude and intimidating and encouraged me not to show up on weekends to play. I'm going to show up and take my time whilst I play.

Beautifully renovated, plenty of seating space and great ambiance. Only disappointment was I had to send my steak back twice as it was cooked incorrectly. The kitchen staff fixed it up and the staff apologized though.
