The new Chinese restaurant Serein in the Petersham RSL opened this week and the food is phenomenally and well priced. Everything was delicious, especially the Yuzu Chicken! Also the pork and prawn wontons, duck pancakes and Xiao long bao were sensational! Service was fabulous, Harry our superstar waiter was also great. Highly recommend- look forward to yum cha opening there soon!

Talk about an absolute glow up for this venue. Don't get me wrong, the old place had character, but it needed to go. Petersham RSL offers the typical club food so I can't complain about that. Plenty of new exciting offerings as well. They even have a spa, how cool is that. Not big on gaming so haven't looked much into it there. Happy for this to be my local club.

I was a big fan of the old club, which had character and offered roast dinners on the cheap. The new club is quite pleasant, but lacks character. You need more than two fake olive trees for ambience. The underground parking is for members only. The food was nice, well presented, reasonably priced and a decent quantity. Service was fast and friendly. Toilets were modern and clean. The water dispenser on the bar is not tall enough to fill a pitcher. There is a small playroom for children.

DELICIOUS!

Was pleasantly surprised by this - the prosciutto and rocket pizza. They were lovely and changed it to a tomato base. The base itself was thin and crispy and you get heaps of prosciutto on the pizza.

Really reasonable price. The place is huge and clean. Would be a lovely liven venue sport place also.

Serein restaurant Peking duck.
Pleasantly surprised with how it was presented. Skin on duck was crispy and food was flavourful. No loud music playing in the background so dining in was pleasant.
If you're there to park and not a member make sure you use the non-apartment buzzer at the garage entrance. It got a bit confusing. Overall good experience
