Took my 94yr mum here for a birthday lunch. We both enjoyed the fact that the bistro served small meals. Lovely place to sit on the terrace and enjoy an ice cold beverage.
Will definitely make it a regular stop when visiting Port Macquarie.

Very spacious place and quite busy people playing "KENO".

Lunch starts at 11:30am, but has a café as well. Few selection on the menu and price isn't too bad especially if you are a member.

Ordered 2 dishes. 1. Salt & Pepper Squid & 2. Beef patties burger in a brioche bun.

Salt & Pepper squid comes with chips, salad and Aioli sauce. Very boring, under seasoned and most pieces are small. $33 for the amount is so disappointing.
The squid doesn't have any flavour, it's like eating rubber!

The chips are good. Needs more seasoning and has a crunch to it.

The burger was good. Good seasoning and the patty was medium rare. The bun tasted old, soggy, could have done bit better by toasting it.

Over all it's worth visiting and try other dishes. Wouldn't recommend at all the salt & Pepper Squid.

Good feed and super fast service. Outside deck was perfect but plenty of inside seating too of you prefer. Great food, drinks and staff and reasonable pricing.

Lovely place to have a stroll. Great wide path suitable for strollers, walkers and chairs.
Well maintained and gives you a great outlook.

Very close location to town centre. Plenty parking spots.
This club is huge and clean.
Nice interior design and beautiful views.
Staffs were all attentive and friendly.

Big club, with nice facilities and plenty of car parks, and good food options. The staff was very unfriendly and unwelcoming, no hello or welcome as we entered the premises. I don't think we'll be back here anytime soon.

In Port Macquarie for a week and ended up at Panthers Port Macquarie three times. The food at The Kove was excellent. We had Roast of the day with wine included, Burger Combo including beer and Green Curried Chicken. All meal very tasty. This would be my local if I lived here. Well done everyone! ??'???'??

Staff seemed disgruntled.
Long wait at the bar with 1 person working.

Went there to watch the footy on the big screen, and they turned it off half time for a 50s 60s band, (an event if that type was in the function room) making us move to the bistro area to watch it on a smaller screen.

Kids area is nice outside but felt harassed by staff because the kids were having fun.

Food was average.

Would not return.

First time visiting club. Attended a tribute band of Abba and Beegees. Really well priced tickets, excellent staff attentiveness and care. Nice atmosphere. Would definitely visit again, and plan to join with a membership.

Went to the club Saturday night to take my wife , sister in-law & gran son for dinner & show club I also got my new life membership card. Very friendly staff & helpful at entrance & we had dinner which we all loved Schnitzel & Beer battered Barramundi fish & chips. Loved the experience will go back again .

Order two snittys one large one small. Food came quick enough, tasted fine. But, what really disappointed more than anything was the portions. Can't tell me it's worth the price they are charging - fair, cost of living and business prices are rising but what's the difference here between a large and a small?
The chip portion was laughable. I'll settle for any snitty any day but god, considering the steep price it is easily one of the saddest schnittys I've ever ordered.

We went to the club for dinner, however we were informed the chef was on sick leave and the restaurant was closed, apparently insufficient staff to open.There was no other option for meals. We left and found somewhere else to eat.Not impressed with this club.

We ordered dinner around 8. The service is non existent. The staff stand around and chat whilst the food is sitting there waiting to be served. We had to go up and tell them as the food was sitting on the window. A very disorganized place. Standard pub feeds. Check your drink glasses as they are dirty with lipstick marks.

Went to Kove for a evening meal. Unfortunately menu was very limited and food took 1hr to arrive. May be the result of limited staff but unfortunately it's wasn't the best experience.

Enjoyed our final lunch of our holidays here. Great spot sitting outside overlooking the canal. Chicken schnitzel was delicious as was the wine.

It's a good sized club, not quite the mega-club of Western Sydney but it will be bigger than many local RSLs.
Drinks are a bit expensive and we didn't eat anything.
However we loved our time there! A very large outside smokies, a very large selection of slappers and very quick service with drinks to the machines...like I have no idea how sometimes. It was insanely quick.

The visit was once again as expected. Meals were fast and tasty(it was rather quiet at the time).
After lunch we went to get a coffees and cakes.
One of the servers was playing with her hair and rubbing her nose and then served up the cake without washing her hands. Thankfully she used the tongs caked in numerous other cake crumbs for my Gluten free caramel slice and only touched the rim of the plate with her dirty hands.
The Barista made good coffees.
A little more hygiene and cross contamination training could be needed by the FOH member who served up the cakes.

My preferred club in port! :)
Update - no longer a preferred club or even one i like to visit, Westport has the honor of being the most pleasant to be at by far.

Always a very welcoming place. Glad to be a member now. The bistro food is terrific and the service fantastic. The staff work hard to make your visit enjoyable.

Stopped in for lunch after shopping next door. Really big and posh club. Food in the bistro is nothing to write home about but it's not terrible. Really nice staff. Probably wouldn't go back on my own.

No decent phone reception guys from work won't go because they can't use sports bet big issue Plenty!!! Plenty of facilities but set up wrong, 2 Large televisions in the tab area 1 playing American sports no1 wants to watch instead of having the races on, Races were on smaller TV's makes no sense, Staff were uninterested in helping us fix the problem with many regulars telling us they have been asking to have it fixed for months, Food was great that was something

What a great club experience! Staff extremely warm and friendly. Coffee was great! Roast lamb meal was exceptional, fast, delicious. Very relaxed setting. Thankyou so much and will definitely be back!!

I had a seriously good scotch fillet here. The steak was seasoned and cooked to perfection, the chips were crunchy, hot and seasoned perfectly. The whole meal was presented very well (my picture was taken after I started attacking it). The service was friendly and the bistro was clean. Definitely coming back here.

Ate here a couple of times whilst on holiday in Port Macquarie. Meals were great. You can tell the chefs care about what they plate up. Fresh ingredients, great flavour combinations. All the staff were really friendly also.

Panthers has a small outdoor play area for children, I take my toddler here after shopping so I can sit and have a quiet coffee. The coffee has always been good.Just to add...have dined at the Kove about a dozen times, eaten a varied choice from the menu, and every time the food has been served in a timely manner, and has always been delicious!

Family lunch ,was nice and covid safe !

Not sure if it was as it was because of these Covid times but we did not enjoy the atmosphere on the club. The Staff was excellent can not fault.
