Our mains Lemon pepper calamari, chips & salad; Chicken parmi, chips & salad and; Chicken Balontine on a sweet potato mash with winter roast vegetables & red wine jus Were absolutely PERFECTION. So much so that as I have had bariatric surgery, I can't have a full main; I asked to take half my meal home. Yes! It will be my dinner tomorrow night. All staff from the lovely receptionist; to the bar tenders - Lachie had beautiful manners - to your table staff, were polite, engaging and had wonderful manners. Thank you. As a local & having grown up on the Bellarine; this was our first time here!! We will be back again.

The pro-shop staff were super friendly, the course was magnificent and well kept. The menu at the club was a little too pub like and disappointing, would definitely eat at one of the city eateries...maybe indulge on some mussels.

One of the best golf course in Bellarine, Online booking was easy pro staff are excellence. Members are good folks to play...Fairways very well maintained, green fun to putt. I like back nine more than front nine. Highly suggested as top list golf course to play in Bellarine.

Special thank-you to the Pro Shop team for making our golf group feel very welcome on 30/10.

Everyone raved about the course and conditioning.

Will recommend to any golfers travelling down from Sydney.

Just tried the new takeaway pizzas. So tasty and delicious! Highly recommend! Had the Texas BBQ one, was amazing ???

The staff was very friendly and helpful. We were very surprised they they didn't have cheaper meals for lunch or senior meals.
So we had a bar meal of toasted sandwich which was ok

Didn't play golf but went for meals a couple of times wow the meals are huge and beautiful staff were very polite and welcoming great venue for a meal nice and clean too also a large play equipment for children

Fantastic for families for meals. Outdoor playground adjacent to dining area. They provide colouring pencils and pages for the kids. Lots of ice cream flavours.

Really enjoyed the service at this golf club where I enjoyed a beautiful steak meal with a friend of mine who had lambs fry and he commented on how delicious the meal was. The best thing about the whole experience was the price was very reasonable and the staff was very friendly will certainly be coming back to this place for a meal

The blue haired manager was rude to my friends and family as soon as we walked in. It was like she didn't want us there. We rang to book and were told we didn't need to. Then when we arrived she got the sooks because we didn't book.

Amazing food and service. I go here most weeks to enjoy the atmosphere, food and friendly staff. I find it's good for most ages, ice cream for kids, easy and hearty meals for adults and there is always some kind of entertainment on like live music or poker. 10/10 would recommend

Amazing food and great service all staff were very friendly.
We had salt and pepper squid tasted so fresh and the slaw was one of the best we ever had.
Braised lamb shank was cooked to perfection.
And the playground is a bonus.
We will definitely be back.

Under new Management earlier this year
Lunch mid August, staff gave dagger looks, service was atrocious, prices exorbitant, steak with either chat potatoes or fries, extra cost for salad or veg. Would never visit again. Very disappointed. Lucky you got a1 star

We came with locals for a meal. The others in the party all declared how nice their meals were. Unfortunately, I drew the short straw. My roast pork salad was a disaster. The dressing was too sweet for me and the pork looked overcooked and was pretty rubbery. I left most uneaten. 'Your mileage may vary'

Delicious food, excellent staff. Not too loud, not to quite. Nice seating, tvs around too. Drinks and desserts are great.

Enjoyed the hot seafood platter between three of us. A excellent meal of varied seafoods with the comment between us (who's going to finish the last bit) all content and full!
A remarkable improvement in decor since our last visit. The chesterfields in the bar/lounge area were a very comfortable addition. The staff are attentive and friendly. A great destination for a cold frothy, Moscow mule or a local wine.
Looking forward to our next visit to Geelong and the Portarlington golf club.

Was visiting Portalington and dropped in for a round. The course was surprisingly good in a laid back sort of region. Well kept fairways were very impressive. The staff was very friendly in the proshop, and looked after this visitor very well. And the modern club house has a good Bistro too.. certainly better than the restaurants around town, but a bit pricey though.

New menu and gets updated depending on the time of the year. Customer service experience is excellent, bar service is very good and like to support the local as we live nearby.
Food is very good and very good servings.

Remember to sign in and wear a mask. Some people didn't and were told by staff.

We were there in a group of 6 for lunch and decided to go with the $12 lunches. They were plentiful I had the rissoles and mash with vege and gravy delicious. Others had calamari chips and salad bangers and mash and fishs and chips. All were great value would definitely recommend. The dining is huge and very busy on a Thursday with bus loads pulling up. Looked a popular spot.

I have visited this venue on several occasions and unfortunately have found certain staff members to be abrupt and occasionally rude. This may be due to understaffing issues as wait times seem to be unusually long compared to other venues in the area.
