Wow, I just had a 500g Tbone steak that would have to be the best in a long time. Cooked to perfection.
The wife said Atlantic salmon and calamari were excellent. Must have been, as fussy.

Pizza entre.
Everything was delicious came out hot and cooked well. Usually rsl clubs standard veggies are over cooked and yuck. My baked potatoes were yum. Can't complain about my salmon. The pizzas are delicious. We came last fortnight just to buy pizza from Northside. We were all happy with our meals. If a negative, my daughter didn't like the kids pasta as it was too sweet. But she made up for it with the pizza. The kids portion was big.
All the portions were massive.
For sure coming back

Located on Yass road in Queanbeyan. This bowls club has been as long as I can remember a Queanbeyan star location.
It's a not only an rsl but also a bowls club too.
I went for dinner tonight because word on the street, Victor (chef/ owner from Queanbeyan/ Canberra's iconic restaurants, Central Cafe and most recently, Queanbeyan golf club) has opened a new restaurant. Branded as Victor's, inside the Rsl Bowls club!

What a hit! It's a breath of fresh air into to bowls club. It's so good to see how them combining with Victor's has changed and affected the club.
Become a member. Go have dinner here. Member discounts on drinks make most under $10. Great selction as you'd expect.

I recommend this local gem for its competitively priced beverages, clean venue, and friendly staff. It offers a large facility with plenty of room for a get-together or functions, with an obvious option to include a game of lawn bowls. Currently in the process of having the kitchen renovated, so there isn't much in regards to food options. However, if this matters, please note that the renovation is only temporary and that once re-opened, the kitchen will round out what I would anticipate as a memorable experience. In the meantime, don't let that stop you from considering this venue for your next function. Call the management to discuss your options.

I attended the Masquerade New Years eve party.?
Myself and my friends were astounded that the club was allowing shorts, thongs, hoodies and sports attire to be worn to this event.
We were also surprised to see people bringing in their own food - the buffet didn't get a mention on the event ???".
We felt like we were attending a bbq.
After offering us wine glasses to have with our prosecco a very rude lady behind the bar didn't take kindly to us asking for champagne glasses either???"
We also felt for the lone rockabilly member too.
As such we left there at 8.
Hopefully this year the management will step up conditions of entry into the club, ensure their staff are courteous and a decent restaurant can be established.

Went for new years eve, was OK there wasant any notification on food on the Web site we only knew because we asked, so many people bought their own, hot food which I thought was weird,the staff did their best catering and it was nice, but more information should have been provided re the food, bar staff well, the older lady with the mask should get some manners just very rude

Great atmosphere! They picked an awesome band (Jerikye and The Crawdads). The staff were absolutely lovely with big smiles on their faces even though it was in the evening on a Saturday. Would definitely go back.

Went for dinner last night.
Service was friendly at the bar and we enjoyed our beers BUT the 'meal' we had at the bistro was one of the worst food experiences I've had in years.
The fried rice tasted awful as did the mixed entree of prawn toast, spring roll, curry puff and whatever it was cooked in filthy old oil.
YUK
It looked like it had all fallen from a great height before being bubbled to death in foul fat.
My boss' schnitzel was similarly cremated to death too.
I suggest starving to death rather than waste money eating there.

Once again great bowling atmosphere Couldn't ask for a better crew than the Canberra Turfies bowlers. Only off thing today was the meals today Beef and Black bean and Spring Rolls. Very tasteless and little flavor Would of been better going for the pie behind the bar.

Went there to catchup with a mate over a beer. Its a quiet club with lots of parking and a couple of bars. It has a chinese type of bistro. It looks li je it neefs a makeover but it was pkeasant enough fir a quick stopover.

Never have I ever been to an establishment with such rude staff...And I have been to places that host with a certain unwelcoming demeanour as a part of their attraction..Never again. Avoid if you can.

My review relates to the bistro.

I echo the other negative reviews and I too would give it a zero if I could. Have a look at the photo. That's the fried rice I was served. I counted four tiny and dried out prawns in it. There was almost no egg and no other additives like peas and ham. The rice tasted broken and gritty, like it was scooped from the bottom of a rice sack. It was vile. The Mongolian beef was average. They made me come and get it from the counter while they provided table service to the few other diners there.

I also saw a sign saying they charge 30 cents for takeaway food containers. There's only one word for that: greed. Maybe one day they will charge a fee to clean your dirty dishes as well.

The bistro is vile. It is disgusting. It is to be avoided. I will never go back under the current management. Don't go there. I repeat, it is to be avoided.

22/12/22. Well all I can say is it got 1 star as I had to give something to be able to write my review. I must say that was the worst lunch experience I have eaten.
1.. my prawn cutlets were hard and burnt with taste of being cooked in old oil.
2. I returned my dish and th4. e replacement meal looked as if they just brought out the same meal as I returned.
3. Serving sizes were child-like servings so wouldnt recomment to people with healthy appetites.
4. To top off my awful meal, the hot chocolate was undrinkable. Water and cocoa does not make a hot chocolate. Thick tasted, no milk or frothy topping was disgusting.
5. Im sorry I didnt think of photos until the last moment when 6 hot chocolates came out lokking like my photo attached.

For a fine lunchtime experience, save your money and book yourselves into another eating establishment.

I will never be returning for a meal.

First and last time here. We came for lunch. This place does not deserve 1 star. We waited 1hr 30 mins for our meal to be disappointed. I had 1 mouthful of the chicken and cashew nuts. The chicken was slimy and zero flavour. The vegetables were the frozen kind. My husband had the chicken schnitzel chips and salad. This arrived cold and it tasted like it came out of a cardboard box floating in water rather than freshly made. My husband shortly fell ill and paid for it when he arrive home.

Waited an hour and a half for food. Had to ask twice where my food was. Once received it was soggy and cold and couldn't even eat it. Very unprofessional in the restaurant. Would never order food from there again.

We were there to celebrate the amazing life of my uncle. Staff were amazingly helpful, food was good and drinks service prompt. Venue very clean and well presented.

We would just like to sincerely thank Marta. She was so amazing to us and looked after our with such fantastic customer service and care. The food was also terrific and I would highly recommend the Queanbeyan RSL Memorial Bowling Club to anyone. Great job Marta! Thank you - from the new Queanbeyan Rent a Space Self Storage Team.

The 'bistro' offers Chinese food, and it wasn't the quality you'd expect from Chinese food at all. Poor flavours and serving sizes barely big enough.
They also have an Australian menu, but only a few options on it and none of those options is a parma.
It's a sad day when you can't go to the RSL for a parma ??

Club staff were great the restaurant staff were very poor service a total disgrace.

We had takeaway from the restaurant for my daughters birthday the food was good but the service was poor the lady who served my daughters was quite rude and offensive to my daughters. And the the large fried rice which cost us $11 was smaller and plainer then any fried rice I have bought elsewhere. Will be thinking very hard before I go back there again.

Great place for a relaxing drink or a meal.

I would give 5 stars for the restaurant and food but unfortunately some (one) of the club staff members should be sent on a training course for public relations. She's a bloody shocker and is almost enough to turn us away from the club. There are many great options available in Qbyn without being subjected to this type of behaviour. Tip: you catch more bees with honey than with vinegar.

Nice and quite friendly staff always helpful

After having to deal with the new staff, the place has turned to a terrible place, staff are inattentive and rude.

A nice traditional bowls club with greens and a Chinese restaurant.

I had been a regular here for a few years. I always popped in with my daughter and had a quiet drink next to the greens. Unfortunately the staff have made every experience with my family painful and confronting. I have had staff raise their voices to my daughter for talking to me and standing too close to the (empty) bar and at one point had three staff members make a complete scene about her even being there because they could not agree on where we could be seated. While this was happening I had another staff member accost me for what he thought was wrong parking that was nowhere near their parking lot (public street parking down the road). I have never been happy about the majority of interactions with the staff I am afraid. The time that is spent with trivial customer infractions that shouldn't be an issue far outweigh any enjoyment one might expect for something as simple as one round of beer. Should spend more time focusing on customers needs rather than the latter.
