Queanbeyan Sports and Community Club - Club in Queanbeyan New South Wales

I have, over the years eaten at many restaurants good and bad. Queanbeyan has many of the latter and very, very few of the former. I was by chance to dine at this club on Sunday 17/7/16 for lunch with my daughter. My overall opinion - do not miss this place - fantastic ! From the start, the service at the bar was impressive - efficient, cheerful and given that we were dining, our drinks were even brought to our table by the very amicable bar manager. (He even anticipated another glass of iced water for my daughter! - how's that!) Then lunch. We ordered the 'Sunday Roast' and expecting the typical - club over-cooked meat and soggy vegetables with Gravox. I am delighted to report that it was nothing like that and was absolutely brilliant. There was plenty of it and everything was delicious, gravy outstanding, chicken awesome and the five (yes 5) assorted vegetables were terrific - this not to mention the great waiter service and delivery time. I really can't wait to try the rest of the menu. Get down there to this club, you will not be disappointed. Credit where credit's due. (this is not a paid reference) Cheers MB
