Delicious food! Crispy schnitzel, generous burger and fries seasoned perfectly :)

So in we go for a meal on Anzac day.
We get hit w a surcharge on the meals. Not 10 percent but who knows what as its not signed anywhere there will be a surcharge but meals were a lot more than prices shown.
Any way i dont mind a small surcharge to cover public hols rates. This wasnt smal though.. Big no no.

We order the falafel balls. They were so over cooked nearly bounced of the plate....seriously. not hard to cook falafel my 10 year old does them. It says on menu served w tahini. Came out with some sort of whipped garlic ???? Meal said chips were served w aioli...non came out...the chips that were sent out in all 5 meals..in my 10nyear olds words...yuk. mum what r these..
I'm a local of 2 years and have been wanting to try this place for ages.. definable won't eat there again. Apart from the bar staff and manager who were so wonderful , the bistro staff who took our order was extremely unfriendly and rude. Such a shame. Not hard to get a basic menu right .

Visited the club for Christmas get together with friends. The club started serving the set menu bringing out the salads and the entrees the green salad came out PLAIN no dressing no parmesan shaves or nuts... it was like eating grass. then they brought out the main meal, meat and choice of two Ice creams. that lunch was not Christmassy at all , the space was not air conditioned properly and it was unpleasant. that was the first and last time I'm going there.

Had lunch with relatives on a Sunday. The battered fish ordered was " atrocious " , terrible beer batter and dry and tasteless inside. " Market fish " .....I doubt it , more like overcooked dry piece of hake, pre flash fried from a bulk pack and fried again, still in need of thawing. Stick to the knitting, steaks very tasty, accompanying salad ( very tiny ), sauce ....It didn't taste like my peppercorn sauce I make ( very bland ) ..... overall , move on to a proper Italian restaurant with proper meals, like Maranello's.

These guys just took over the restaurant a few weeks ago. Plenty of choices, all equally amazing. We had the lebanese lamb, a japanese karaage chicken and italian pizza and arancini. Good food take usually time, but these guys were not only fast, but they also deliver freshly made delicacies in record time! The music is not too loud so you can have a good conversation, also with the staff, which is friendly and attentive to details. Best place to eat in Randwick area!
