It's like a living breathing instruction manual on how to make your club irrelevant. Smells like cigarettes inside, food is ordinary and there's so many rules and signs and drunk old people it's like a nursing home and brewery in one. The sooner they flatten it and go again the better. Would have been average in 1994, 30 years later it's below even that. Never again.

Has a fabulous outdoor area utilising the old bowling greens with food trucks, bars, giant screen, tables, lights and music. Looks like a festival atmosphere. Only open limited days so check first. Sadly a hidden secret so doesn't get big crowds.

Great little club ... quite so easy to park, cold beer and the bistro eats really well, cheap membership , friendly staff ... Recommended

The Club's Privacy Policy - which is available on the website - is poor - minimal and wanting. In light of the recent data breach affecting other Clubs I had hopes that all Clubs would lift their game in respect privacy. Having a proper and full privacy policy is a way of ensuring trust and patronage. I'll stick to going to pubs where there is no need to share private information.

Amazing atmosphere open mic was the best on Thursday and dinner was delicious

Good for a game of pool. Food was disappointing and apart from Coopers all their beers are Japanese owned. But a jug of Coopers was reasonably priced at about $23

Great Chinese restaurant and the food is fresh and tasty ? old school club to catch up for a feed and a cheeky beer. Entree and 2x mains $43. Will be back next time I'm around here.

A friendly and unique offering to the local community. Great value for membership and you are always guaranteed to be greeted with a smile and a bit of banter.

Impressive greens where you've got food trucks and play equipment which makes it family friendly.

Wonderful Venue. We had my daughters engagement party on the greens. The Staff were so friendly and went out of their way to make sure our guests were looked after. The Pizzas were amazing . We had a fun afternoon all thanks to Club Ryde.

It's a club:-) Restaurant food is much improved. Music and pizza on the bowling green is a great idea!

Wheelchair accessible, driveway is super steep to if you are wheeling there it may be a challenge. Staff are nice and friendly and the food....the FOOD is amaaaazing!!

Club Ryde is a nice family venue that offers good friendly service by the staff, drinks prices are good and the place is kept clean. Bowling greens have been transformed into entertainment space with food trucks on offer. Sport plays on the big screen when it's on and kids have play area to keep them busy. The new management at the bistro is a massive upgrade from the last owners. Food is nice, tasty but can't be considered value for money with portion size to price. Overall I will be back to enjoy what Club Ryde offers for a reinvented club.

My Wife and I are members and the last time we were at the club we had a meal both had steaks which we were very disappointed with! This place had so much potential the views are amazing! The food is below average we hope that things change, they need to have good fresh food, something for everyone, roast dinners for the pensioners and good quality steaks, that are cooked well and make sure the hot chips are always hot!

What a friendly little club. Nice food and such lovely, polite staff. It was very quiet the night we went. No line ups and personal service. Highly recommended!

Ordered a Nasi Goreng and got a fried rice!! When questioned about the fried egg they were rude and said yes!! The egg was scrambled egg!! Staff are very rude!! Never again. It's time the board ask these people to up their game!!!
Even the garlic bread was a rip off!! Half a Turkish bread roll for $7.00 .

The front desk service was great, however that's where it ended.
The chef was quite abrupt and the food was well below par. I'm not a fan of writing a bad review however, the schnitzel was about 5mm thick, salad was in a pool of dressing, the nuggets were over cooked and the parmigiana had a piece of sliced cheese on top. The sauce was tangy like it had gone bad and the beer was quite sour.
It is an old venue but it does have potential if the service and food were better.
Quite disappointed and will not return.

The food is so below average it's ridiculous, ordered a chicken parmigiana and it was so thin and processed there would have been more meat in a chicken nugget.
The kitchen had no salad so could only serve chips, which came out soggy anyway.
Absolutely rubbish pub avoid at all costs!!

It's good to see clubs reinventing themselves, The food inside at Ate was disappointing but they do have food trucks on offer outside. 3.5 stars

Good reasonably priced food. Hunters Hill Theatre on site, which is so convenient.

Was a member for a few years so I could get something to eat or drink while my kid played basketball but the club has now installed a wall in front of the basketball hall to block it off from vehicles because they're upset about car parking. Now I'll never patronise the club again, and may need to consider what we do with basketball as an ambulance was needed last week for an injury during a game and couldn't get in. If you're trying to defend your reputation as a community organisation and not just a pokie palace, this ain't how you do it. The basketball club's skip bin can't even be emptied by a garbage truck now.

The only star is for the young guy who served us juice and water , The lady at the bistro with other two guys which I assume were the chefs were so rude ! This is the second time , she was staring at my partner and asking her to be quick with her order , didn't even respond to our greetings ! Honestly next time I see the facility manger , I'll tell more about how disgusting such a behaviour is ! The food was even worse ! The steak sandwich was cold and I assume cooked many hours ago !

Great place. Friendly and helpful staff. Bistro fantastic. Food was cooked to order. Best steak sandwich loaded with cheese and bacon and crisp chips, Asian dishes full of flavour and very generous serves. Vegetables crisp and crunchy. Couldn't fault the meals.

Now serving Chinese food, since my last review. My friend & I really enjoyed a very yummy combination omelette ?

This place is great for a simple, no fuss, no fanfare family dinner. They have a good kids area away from the dining room (you can sit close if you want to) and the food is pretty good.
They have lots of other facilities like TAB, lawn bowls, movie nights, meat raffles etc but I have never been there on those days.

Very relaxing place to have dinner and drink. Kids have playstation room which very interesting.

The kitchen changed management in 2020. I thought that the original chef was good. But the new head chef is excellent. The kitchen staff may be mainly of Asian origin but I think their western dishes are much better quality than the average club/pub; this is not an amatuer head chef.They are sometimes let down a little bit by the service behind the counter. On one particularly busy day the order-taker kept being distracted. Then our two different meals arrived with one of them cold; badly synchronised. But it was an unusually busy day. Other times I have been quite happy.

Nice atmosphere. Great variety of food in bistro, Australian/Asian.

Had a slight problem. Contacted relevant person - all sorted. The club is one of the nicest I,ve been to lately. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Nice cozy atmosphere,We do miss the old kitchen but the new kitchen seems to have tasty food as well, they do well of the salt & pepper flavouring on both squid & pork ribs. The fried rice isn't the best.Friendly bar staff.
