We totally fell in love with Sawtell, the laid back vibe of the town, the cute Main Street and the friendly people made our stay there awesome. We especially loved the RSL ...It only costs $10 to join and the fee supports the local community. You don't have to join though the eat there. They have a restaurant and a cafe and both were really excellent...I would highly recommend them.

Nice club, great food specials, get in early so you don't have to line up.

Fantastic food and the seafood buffet was great! Very well priced and limited numbers when booking so it isn't crowded at all what so ever. Only one sitting so you aren't pressured on eating as much as you can before being booted. Highly recommend!

Fantastic location with plenty of parking. Food was ok but overly priced. Auditorium is fantastic sadly viewing from upstairs is blocked by curtains from seeing stage performers at either of the sides.

Came in to have a look at the menu and stayed for one of their lunch specials of salt and pepper prawns. Delicious, the people were super friendly and welcoming, wine and beer wad good and the whole lunch wad a very reasonable price. Can thoroughly recommend this RSL.

The Mexican Parmigiana was absolutely Delicious. I will be returning soon. Great atmosphere. Fantastic service at the Bar and Bistro as well as Tony renewing my Membership Card. Please Visit. Definitely Highly Recommended ?????

Dry pork, small oysters.?
Oysters Kirkpatrick were a bit burnt.
Prawns were yummy.?
Cooked fish dishes were very nice and salads interesting.
Was hoping for some cheesecake Deserts.
All in all I'm sure we will be back.

Monday 3.07.2023. came for dinner and expected the usual rsl. On entry reception was very welcoming. We ordered the special which was surf and turf and we were amazed at the quality and size of the meal. Absolutely amazing. Steak was cooked to perfection very tender and prawns were delicious. At $16 this was probably the best meal we have had in a long time.

We had another meal here. Great food and staff. Meals were very generous. Their nightly specials are priced at $16. Great value for money.

$220 for the worst smorgasbord ever. Roast meat dry as anything. Couldn't even get chips for the kids to eat. All family of 5 left hungry. Also no drinks included for that price. Disappointed is a understatement

Great venue for a family meal. We were visiting the area and had such a great experience here. Wonderful service, great prices and quality of food and massive meal portions. Nice little play area for the kids too. We will be back!

Went to lunch ordered 2 senior meals, some of the prawns were black and the chips, veggies were cold. I did talk to staff and my money was refunded thankyou. Staff not caring how they dished out their meals and should be stirring food in baymarie.

I ordered the Creamy Tomato Chicken & Prawn Fettuccine and I was disappointed. The parmesan was poor quality, the sauce was watery, and had a really odd sour taste to it. Our garlic bread arrived burnt. Our coke tasted extremely watered down. Decent price for the food, but you're definitely not paying for quality.

After having breakfast here every Sunday morning for many months, we arrived this morning and lined up for our order.
When we reached the counter we were asked if we were apart of the surrounding group.
We said no, we weren't, and were then told that we couldn't be served until the group had all ordered and we'd have to go back to the end of the line and wait. By this time the line up was longer than the original line we had joined.
My husband handed in his membership and we found a lovely, friendly Cafe in the main street

Very friendly staff that make you feel really welcome. Had a hot/cold seafood platter for 2. Just awesome. Was delicious. Went there for a few afternoons for drinks they were always welcoming with a cold drink. Will definitely be back again especially for seafood smorgasbord.

We enjoyed lunch after looking around the town. Specials were $16 and meals ranged to $32

Seems to be a very popular venue, at least on curry night! Don't know if the long queue was made up mainly of locals or visitors but we were glad we got in early. We both enjoyed our grilled Barramundi. It was moist and tender unfortunately, the side salad left a bit to be desired. Having visited once before and enjoyed a delicious Asian style salad I was happy to try again.
Lots of variety and good, pleasant service.

We popped in here for a beer after a fantastic, full-on, day of exploring this beautiful region of NSW.
The venue was fabulously laid out, friendly staff.
I was hungry & the cafe girls cooked up a plate of hot, crunchy chips for my husband & I to share....
If I hadn't had a slow-cooker bubbling away we would have been back for a meal for sure!

Great eats and simple check in process. Bring your licence. Snitty was pretty good, this is the 4th in a row in costal NSW... I know what I'm talking about. A little thinner than I would have liked, nicely cooked. Salad and chips were good. I don't really understand when they steam the chips under the schnitty

What a great place to call in for lunch on Father's Day. We had delicious meals and at great prices. The service was great and we were greeted by a friendly and helpful lady upon our arrival. Yes would definitely recommend here and will definitely be visiting again.

Pleasent surroundings, reasonably priced meals, and attentive staff. Definitely worth a visit.

The food is always great here. Once you get past the Covid protocols, which is not their fault, it's a great place to dine with family and friends.

Tab, Pool Tables and of course Pokies.
Membership is cheap and allows easy parking in the Club Parking area.

Had a fabulous meal on Saturday the 15th of May.There was heaps of people but our meals came out quickly.I had the Ruby Snapper & it was so delicious.Would definitely go back again.Very clean place to eat

Sawtell RSL served up a great roast dinner on Thursday evening. Perfect for a couple at the end of the week if you don't want to cook, or indeed any day of the week.There is a full range of deserts at a minimal price.The staff are always friendly and on for bit of rap.You can use your government vouchers if you have them.

This club is absolutely fantastic. Great food, great staff and excellent pool tables. A definite must when staying in beautiful Sawtell

The best for oysters in coffs district ... natural mornayed or kilpatrik.. also presented beautiful. If you can find better, let me know..
