A lovely local RSL with delicious food and quick friendly service. We stayed in Sheffield and dinner options were very limited but we were fortunate that this local gem was open. We ate here 2 nights in a row as we were impressed with the tasty food. Over these nights, we ordered the crumbed scallops, grilled chicken + garlic prawns, schnitzel and salmon + garlic prawns - dishes were about $30-35 each which is relatively pricy but not complaining when there are no other options. Decent portions and the meal felt nourishing - I really appreciate the side of fresh vegetables (the roasted pumpkin with cheese was out of this world and it is my goal to emulate this at home). People were friendly too! Thank you for feeding us well.

The chefs are exceptional you will never leave hungry, bar staff work hard to keep alot of people happy , not many try pubs like this left

We were staying in the area in September 2024. We were so glad to find this place after our first night of terrible food elsewhere.

We came back here for dinners for the rest of our stay in Sheffield. The food was consistently yummy each night. Good place to go for dinner!

Patrons and staff were welcoming, travelling with my asian in laws can get some bad reactions especially with current world events but we found none of this the whole time we spent in the town and in near West Kentish. Food was awesome and beers were cold. Good prices too. Definitely worth the stop just double check the opening days and times. Thank you Sheffield and especially the RSL team!

Meals are amazing. We had the Meat Lovers Schnitzel and the Macadamia Chicken Tenders with garlic sauce. Both were delicious. Great service from the RSL team.

A cosy RSL filled with locals. Friendly people. The food was amazing, we had the salmon, chicken schnitzel, steaks and butter chicken and all came out quickly and cooked perfectly. Would recommend stopping here if you are hungry and heading to Cradle Mountain! 10/10
