The restaurant upstairs has had a few changes over time and the current children's play centre is a pretty appalling place to have a quiet lunch if they are holding a birthday party!
The food was reasonable but seems maybe I may be 'too old' to tolerate waiting stupidly long to eat a simple lunch to children's excited screaming!
However, if you have kids you may feel different to me! ??'?
Other than that it's mostly just another RSL club downstairs...

First time at the Gallery at the club tonight and I would highly recommend.
The staff are lovely and the meal we had tonight was fresh presented well ,value for money .
We will definitely be going back again

Large plates, but food is average, and not particularly cheap. Seems to be struggling after opening a few months ago. The meat lovers pizza was definitely very meaty and too much for me to eat in one sitting, which is great, I took it home. There's a good looking kids playground up there now as well.

Front door fellas were polite and willing to have a yarn, bar staff were friendly and both Fran and I walked out winners. A must to visit for a peaceful time. Well done guys.

The person who seated us was extremely helpful. He was very accommodating and a nice young man who was happy to help us with some questions and seating options.

The play area was being used by kids well over 12 years, it's for kids 3-12, and the younger kids were unable to use the play equipment because the older kids were running around so fast without a care for the younger kids.
We only went there because it has a playroom but unfortunately the rules are not being enforced by staff and parents of older kids don't care, ruining it for the younger kids who could use the play area. Not teenagers who are swearing and play fighting on a kids play set.

The food was great and timey service. Unfortunately we won't be going again because it's not kid friendly.

We went there for dinner, as Kangaroo Valley Hotel booked out, as country show 3as on the weekend we camped at Bendeela. Long way to go for dinner, but worth it when we arrived

Ever since they changed the to The Galley the food went downhill, I ordered a full rack of ribs with potatoes and coleslaw and got only 5 cold ribs and a handful of cold raw potatoes, and in my group someone got a cold and dry steak sandwich with cold chips. Not coming here again.

Tried out the new restaurant. Have to say meals were fine....but.....they were very disorganised. There were ten of us.most got their meals in a reasonable time but two of our group waited 1 hour 10 min for theirs.we had to go look for the meals..no apology. Just too bad

Nowra Ex Servos: we both had a snack 'toasties' at the Galley Cafe. The Service Staff stuffed up the order despite considerable discussion with Service Staff while placing the order and the quality of the served food was at best terrible. Looks like they have had a change of staff and the service and quality of food has gone down hill. Will not be eating there again.

People friendly and place was pleasant we stopped to have lunch which was fine had fish and chips nice enough but was very happy about the salad my wife had a steak sandwich which was on the bland and dry side for her The area was kept well enough but seemed a little dark. The staff there were friendly efficient and respectfull so I felt served which is nice. Entrance for a non local a little confusing

Great food and service is the best in nowra, waitresses are always happy to change dishes to accommodate the customer thanks we are regulars

Popped into the Cafe for a quick lunch and it was fantastic. Burger was huge, and wrap was fresh and tasty. Great prices as well.

Sono Lim Chinese upstairs was AMAZING! Tasty, hot and fresh, served quick no hassle, good service. Cheap and perfect. Would've said 5 stars but no bar service on a Thursday night. Waitress was delightful too!

Don't waste your time with the food, it has to be one of the worst i have EVER had!!!!!. Seriously, from the rubber tyre Hao Gao , left over roast beef slices on your Thai beef salad with all the fat still on and about 2 full red onions dumped over it so that all you can taste is onions, to the beef and cheese burger with "home made" patty which has the texture of patè the steamed bbq pork buns were 80% buns with the smidgen of bbq pork. Everything was horrible!!! We paid $60 just to go to hungry jacks after we had a bite of each. Please don't waste your time Im doing yous a favour writing this review. Will never recommend nor go back there again

Excellent service- when I went to order the vegetarian dish the waitress let me know that they could make several other items on the menu vegetarian and I ultimately went with another dish. Food excellent, all staff really friendly and the custard buns were delicious! I went back there twice on my visit because I enjoyed it so much

I am very pleased we stopped at The EX Servos in Nowra, we had dinner there 2 nights and all l can say is that the food was great, polite staff and very enjoyable visit.

Went to the club as parking was difficult elsewhere. Was a good decision, easy parking.
Chinese restaurant upstairs but we tried the Cafe downstairs.
Hubby loved his toasted chicken salad on Turkish bread with a side of chips while my spinach quiche and salad was perfect.

I attended the Ex Servos club on Sunday for lunch in the Chinese restaurant with 3 friends. Previously they had an all you can eat buffet, but covid stopped that.
Two of us had the roast of the day and two had a seafood plate.
The roast consisted of 3 sluces of beef, not bad, but the vegetables were disgusting. One shrivelled up potato at maximum 30mm diameter and 10mm thick. A piece of corn about 15mm long, shrivelled up carrot and broccoli.
$13.50 Each.
The seafood plate was 2 battered prawns, 1 small piece of fish, 1 piece of battered seafood stick (half a stick) a couple of battered vegetables and some chips.
$21.50 Each
Worst meals we have ever had, and we will never go back to that club although 2 of us are members.

Club shows it has all sorts of food and got there only to find they have light sandwiches etc available at dinner time even though we told the reception that we were there for dinner and they didnt mention anything then on the way out i asked why he didnt tell us there was no food he said the chinese restraunt is upstairs but booked out for the next hour .. um ok

Beautiful dinner, i went there and the garden was amazing. Also i love how they have a place for kids. I would recommend for a nice lunch or even dinner. At night the fairy lights look amazing. Perfect price, and kind service.

Lovely meal in the Sono Lin Restaurant. Wife said best chicken schnitzel she's had on a long time. My Chinese chicken noodle stir-fry was really tender too.

Great meal, great service from Brendan at front desk. Especially after arriving after a funeral with no booking. Keep up the fantastic work Brendan.

Took a mate there today and was most dissapointed, due to the SCAMDEMIC, they no longer have the buffet.It's table service and order from very limited menu.One poor girl was physically running and couldn't keep up.Service was slow and very few customers there.Nice food and very limited range to choose from and very small servings.This SCAMdemic is really killing the club's, yet tens of thousands are allowed to cram into sports stadiums.SCAM SCAM SCAM

I went to ex servos for a birthday party. From the time l walked in the door l was welcomed by a lovely lady who took me to where my friends were. We had the chinese banquet lunch upstairs. The bar staff & wait staff were fantastic, friendly and went above & beyond to make the day run smoothly. The food was great too. All the staff l interacted with were professional and courteous. A real credit to the club. Well done ladies & l look forward to going there again. Highly recommended
