Despite the bustling atmosphere and full tables, my experience at this restaurant was incredibly disappointing.
The promise of a great meal based on the crowd was quickly dashed.
We ordered four different types of dumplings and fried wontons, only to find that the wontons were mostly fried dough with very little filling. The first batch of dumplings had thick dough and no sauce accompaniment, and despite hoping for better with the next batch, all four types arrived without any sauce either.
It was so busy that we couldn't even flag down a server for chili sauce or soy sauce. Overall, the flavors were lacking, and the whole experience left much to be desired.

Bistro not to bad, I had the spaghetti marinara which was quite nice and a generous serve, someone else in my party had the linguine prawns which was loaded with prawns and quite a nice dish. The roasts looked very average.

Unfortunately I have abandoned this place even though I'm a member due to the bistro overpricing their menu , I would give their food rating a 3 out of 5 stars at best, gourmet breakfast for $29 member discount with no coffee or anything to go with it ? Not value for money.

My one star review is extremely generous as this is the worst Chinese food I've ever had.

As for the mood of the club this is the place where happiness comes to die.

Will not be coming back.

There is plenty of parking with full handicap facilities not far away from the main entrance. Inside, it's modern, spacious, clean, and decorated in good taste. Staff welcoming and attentive. Food (Bistro restaurant, good value and quality) Restaurant (Chinese) I recommend booking, nice ambience and food is good value with decent menu.

We went for dinner with kids the customer service unfortunately wasn't professional you can see the attitude on them faces that's was okay to deal with but still you are not allowed to place an food order unless you are gambling that's their policy so we agreed with that too but again you can place only two snacks on each machine you are gambling on. Thanks for this experience definitely not visiting again.

Great service and tasty food but tad bit thirsty afterwards

Nice local club, one of the biggest in the area. A variery of restaurants including Bistro (Table 2164), Chopstix asian cuisine, BBQ 88 Asian street food, and Mex it Up Mexican street food dishes.

This club needs a complete overhaul, starting from the entry to their food venues.
I don't think it's appropriate to have minors walk past poker machines to get to a restaurant.
BBQ 88 also needs to be shut down as their food is absolutely disgusting and shouldn't be fed to humans.

My family attended father's day lunch at 1.30pm. We were stuck at the back of the dining room with about 30 people crammed into a space that is usually a walkway. The food was overpriced , we couldn't have a conversation because we were so spread out, not a restaurant I will be attending in the future.

Excellent customer service - the staff at the front door and desk were really helpful and friendly.
We ate at BBQ 88 which was delicious! Would definitely recommend visiting. They even have a play area for the kiddies.

The club has a really spacious and peaceful dining room area, and they serve delicious dishes like fish and chips, salad, and lemon butter sauce, as well as a loaded vegetable pizza with lots of toppings. They also offer generous portions of cake and coffee as a deal. However, even though I've spent a lot of money on meals there, I've only earned a very small amount, just $5 worth, in points.

Had tickets to see Pete Helliar here but had never been here prior. It was such a nice experience. The staff at the door are lovely and welcoming. The club itself is easy to navigate and there's plenty to choose from for dinner. We had dinner and saw a show and even managed to grab a coffee on the way out. The cake varieties looked delish so I'll have to come back and try them (all) ?????

We had dinner twice at one of the restaurants here - Table 2164. Both times the food was amazing. So good that even though I was so full I couldn't finish my meal both times, I still wanted to keep eating

The food is Amazing, high 5 to the kitchen staff for the mouthwatering food. Food is always on point. Steak cooked to perfection all the time.
Staff are always friendly and welcoming.
I always keep an eye out for certain staff for their service and a couple of people I'd like to acknowledge for outstanding customer service is Max and Angelina.

Nice place.. very convenient location and easy to get a parking.. had a great experience!

It's a club, drinks are well priced and mixed well. Dined at BBQ 88 not bad but nothing special, For $45 for members you get all you can eat Korean/Asian BBQ plus dessert

Went to a birthday at the function room upstairs. 25th January Wednesday round 6pm. Food wasn't to bad but there service was terrible ? wasn't happy with there service. Whoever put those 2 lady on. They need to be trained everything you need to learn about customer services. And there presentation skills service with a smile. How to deal with don't just take plates without asking first while your still eating and food on plates ? and they never ask for refill jugs like jugs of ice water ??'? and having I think only 2 ladies serving throughout the night ? I've been in customer services for hotel industry 29years. Now this generation terrible ?

Do not waste your money here! I never write reviews but was very unhappy with the service I received. The waiters were all every rude and the food was tasteless. Will not be returning.

Went there to celebrate friends' 50th wedding anniversary. Separate room was comfortable, set menu was good and staff were friendly and helpful. Ample parking also.

Absolutely one of the BEST BBQ restaurants i have been to. The food and service was next level. If you are looking for the highest quality tasting food with a personal family oriented service. Do yourself a favour and give them a try and tell them Tony sent you.

Great place to go for lunch or dinner and entertainment. Bistro prices very reasonable edpecially if you buy the specials. cheaper if you become a member only costs 5 Dollars for the year and $2.50 if you are a Pensioner. Nice big sports bar. They also kids specials and have a playground area for the kids. Well worth a visit

Visited club for dinner, food was great. However the club has expanded their poker machine area....to where the entertainment stage and seating were located....

This has resulted in the removal of the more intimate spaces...

Table 2164 was average, chips were just under seasoned and not crispy enough, as was the salt and pepper squid. Steak had a nice grill flavor but was tough and chewy. Mushroom sauce was a little watery and mushrooms undercooked. Chicken schnitzel was just on the dry side.
Maybe I've been in lockdown for too long as this was our first meal out and my memory of food I haven't cooked myself is affected.

The place is nice but everybody better watch out what you do because the staff are keeping and eye on everybody. I just took out my phone to take a selfie a couple of times and they got a bit paranoid thinking I'm taking pictures of their staff or the inside club. They got feel awkward and so I'm never coming back there again

We had a lovely time here. Unlike the first time we came here there was a little delay in the food coming out but the staff were super apologetic! They gave us two free sides and two free desserts. Felt really spoiled. Definitely coming back

The staff that serve the drinks in the pokie section are grumpy and have an attitude. The restaurants are good service. The pokies section are grumbles and make you feel like second hand.

Lunch today was very disappointing. Ordered the special board of deep sea fish potato gratin salad and sauce. At 1 there was no potato gratin available so alternately had chips. Was presented with two small driedOut fish pieces and a bowl of chips no salad or sauce. The chips were the best thing. Pizza also not good properly. Don't recommend going there

Placed an order for lunch at 1.10pm. Standing at counter asked why is it taking so long at 2.15pm. Standing watching you can see no leadership in the kitchen and the pass was totally confused. Sending order out of sequence. Steak is quick everything else takes longer than it should.

I've been visiting Smithfield RSL for many years and find it a great place to stop for a quick drink and a meal when I'm coming through.It has great prices, top value and it's a very comfortable place to relax, chill out and be yourself.I love going there when I want to 'hide from the world' and have some Edward Zia time.Great people and love their work!

Very nice place. Young man at front door very polite and helpful. Not very busy Friday lunchtime but lunch was delicious. Had a salmon salad and it was huge. Had to take half away. All food delivered to our table was hot and very tasty. All staff polite and friendly. Nice to visit.
