Went here to eat as we're staying at banisters and had a bad dinner experience there
We thought to give local club across the road a try . What a mistake. I ordered the lamb cutlets with veg. The potato was not mashed potato it was powdered potato and tasted like glue and salt. The two cutlets were deep fried and over cooked and not lamb At best old mutton the meat was very dark. I tried to eat some until I found all the fat for the price it's a no go from me. My partner tried the chicken schnitzel. It was frozen and mass produced from a packet. She said the chips were good. guys lift your game. How hard is it to cook mashed potato from real potato's. Lamb was not lamb. False advertising Get it together it's not that hard

Went to the club for a meal around 7pm. The reviews looked good untill a staff member directed us to a table right in front of the entry/exit door to the outside eating/play area.
I ordered light meal chicken snitty with salad and chips & a creamy garlic prawn dish. Not sure what happened to this dish but the sauce for the 8 prawns was very lacking and the clumpy rice was very disappointing. I think the chicken snitty must have been overcooked as half of it was tuff as. I think the kitchen crew must have had an off night.
We discuss the issue with the friendly staff but was not offered any kind of compensation in any way. Sorry would not go back here.

Went to Soldiers point Bowling Club for the first time. Had a great pizza for dinner. Was a no fuss experience generally. Wasn't really greeted on the way in. And girl on reception didn't even look up when we walked out. But food was good.

Great welcoming club with lovely food and amenities.

I attended a wake there. The food was hot, delicious, and plentiful. Bar service was efficient.
Parking was abundant.

We'd eaten at this Club quite afew years back, we were very disappointed at the change in the venue, mostly the meals, not what they were!! We visited twice the first night having the seafood basket which was quite nice. Then returning for Pizza Night. The Meatlovers was sold out very quickly apparently & b4 6.30pm, we chose 2 others, honestly they weren't much better than one from a box!!

We loved our afternoon here! Lunch specials were cheap, BIG and delicious. They even let our little dog in the outside area - the staff were so lovely!

Absolutely worth going to for drinks and food. I thought prices were very reasonable and if you don't like the wine on offer at the bar go to the bottle shop attached to the club and pick something nice out. They will add corkage. Foods lovely. Hubs says beers brilliant icy cold & the bar staff know how to pour it properly.

This club is a cut above your average club. N fact it's nearly as good as QLD GC surf clubs. It just don't have the view.

Great outdoor area with kids playground. All the kids keep busy to give you 5 minutes to relax. The drinks are well priced, the food was okay nothing special, the kids fish and chips was poor. The salt and pepper squid salad was nice but would suggest a little less dressing, but nice flavour.

Hands down the best bowlo I've been to.

The food is brilliant and the prices are the best you'll see.

The facilities are all in top notch condition and everything is clean.

Highly recommend the salmon and the garlic & cheese pizza bread.

Bistro food here is really lovely, both the normal menu AND the $16 lunch specials. The chicken vol-au-vent (on the $16 lunch menu) is devine! Also recommend the prawns and rice, ceaser salad, sweet and sour fish, and green chicken curry. And the staff are friendly-as!

Great food, for a very good price ??'?. Staff a friendly. Overall great day. Children have a erea to play in. It's a must do if you are in the erea.

So-called 'pizzas' were appalling. Tasteless processed strips oh 'ham', tinned mushrooms on a pizza base that the cheapest of supermarkets would be too embarrassed to sell. Even my 14 yo (who will normally eat just about anything) barely touched his. Inexcusably poor. And a complete waste of money.

Came here a couple of times on a recent holiday. It's a nice place to eat and the staff are friendly. However, I didn't enjoy my caesar salad because the chicken I paid an extra $6 for was poor quality, cold and tasted like fish. Usually when you pay to add chicken you get lovely grilled chicken, so be warned that this isn't the case here.

Good club and facilities, sports bar and outdoor area. I felt the food was average for this level of club, seems quantity over quality, but prices were reasonable. Won't be rushing back, plenty of other eating options in the area.

Awesome staff. Good food..very nice view. Good at nights for Friday or and Saturday. Just don't act out of the ordinary, they throw you out without any warning.

Fantastic food and friendly staff. Great location to bring kids with play area. Lots of choice on menu including vegan options!!! Generous portions. We will be back!!!

The ceasar salad my wife had today was without doubt the worst meal ever. The chicken was full of fat and gristle and the dressing was dry and lumpy. We did not complain so as not to upset the other people in the group.

The Bowling Club is perfect for families. The food and drink menu has a wide variety of options, all are reasonably priced. The play equipment out the back is suitable for 4-12 year olds, and the grassed area is great for kicking a ball around. Definitely one is the regular places when we're in the area

Went to Soldiers Point Bowling Club of which I am a member for lunch yesterday 8/6/2021 and ordered the Pepper Beef Pot Pie for $25.00. When the meal was delivered to our table it looked delicious and very appetising however on starting to eat the Pot Pie I discovered that at least 50% of the beef was not edible due to fat and gristle. When the waitress picked up my completed plate I advised her of the problem and received no feedback. Will not dine at the club again and will advise our friends of my experience.

Perfect depiction of a bowling club. If it was a sports club rating, would be 5 stars but its an everything rating. 4/5 Stars, would recommend, will not be disappointed.

Standard club affair. We came for a mid day drink from the bar/cafe and a play outside for the kids. Medium sized playground fully fenced and secured, with shade cover.Standard mass brewery drinks available from the main bar. Despite the Cafe being advertised as open all day we had trouble finding service and finally got help from unapologetic staff.

Good quality food, especially for a bowlo. Has the usual fare, and the specials are usually a bit different and top class.Highly recommend that you book a table, esp in the holidays.Reasonably priced, esp the drinks.

We stayed at Thou Walla Resort. Courtesy bus picked up our party of 6 and returned us by a lovely driver. Well presented club, modern furnishings, with friendly staff. Meals were generous and very reasonably priced.

Food was very good. We went during school holidays so when we went early the meals were delivered quickly, however when we were later it took 45 minutes for the food to come out.Kids get a free paddle pop ice cream with their meals. Playground just outside the restaurant keeps kids busy while meals are being cooked.Enjoyed our meals and will be back when we are holidaying here again.
