Swansea RSL

Oceans Brasserie is always busy, food good & service great. Today however we ordered the Salmon patties. Now I'm no chef but I can make a salmon pattie, it is not hard to do and make them yummo. These were disgraceful. Coating way too thick and the contents appeared to be mostly breadcrumbs.... very disappointed and still hungry. I think the chef has let the place down ...
Hubby had the swordfish and although very yummy & well presented... just a little overcooked, but still pretty good. It's so crowded here and they work very hard in the kitchen, so not too worried about the overcooked swordfish.

I had a really nice dinner here with some friends, great views, great food and ice cold bear this place is a must visit when is Swansea can't wait to see what it looks like when the renovations are completed My wife and I will definitely be back.

We visited here after shopping for a new home. It's was nearly 3pm and the bistro was closing for an hour for dinner menus. They gladly took our order and 20 mins later we were eating. The food was good pub food style menu. Nice view of the water way while eating. The service from the ladies serving were really good. The club is welcoming and parking is easy entering here is ground level. Easy access for wheel chairs. Recommend to drop in here if you are visiting this area.

I am so glad we decided to try the restaurant again. We stopped coming here a few years ago because the food was very ordinary and expensive, but It was such a pleasant experience today. Our meals were absolutely delicious and very responsibly priced. We'll be back here again soon.

We came To respectfully visit the local RSL on New Year's Day 2025 for a quick bite to eat with friends and a current serving ADF , on our last night here in Catherine Hill Bay. We thoroughly enjoyed the visit. The food , atmosphere & staff were very friendly
Worth coming to this Lovely positioned RSL situated on the Inlet watching a shark be pulled in from a local boat and weighed .outside
The memorial site overlooking the inlet was absolutely beautiful along with the memorial at the front . It will only get better in the next visit as the renovations are completed

Meals were tasty. A bit of a wait but that is because they were so busy and did have a sign up saying wait times.

Fantastic RSL with amazing views and great facilities. Food is really good too (but can be a bit of a wait at peak times) and they have a wide selection of drinks at the bar. The balcony has amazing views over the inlet and you can watch the Swansea bridge open to let larger vessels through. Highly recommended

I recently dined at Swansea RSL Oceans Brasserie, and overall, it was a delightful experience. Let me break it down:

2. Almond Crusted Barramundi: 🐟 Now, the Almond Crusted Barramundi didn't quite reach the same heights. I expected more from this dish. The almond crust provided a pleasant crunch, but the fish itself lacked that wow factor perhaps it was not as fresh as it could have been.
3. Ambiance and Views: 🌊 Despite the 45-minute wait for our Sunday lunch, the breathtaking views of Swansea Channel made up for it. We gazed out at the shimmering waters, sailboats gliding by, and seabirds floating in the sky. It's hard to complain when you're surrounded by such natural beauty.
In summary, Swansea RSL Oceans Brasserie offers a delightful location for a pleasant weekend lunch, with the Grilled Chilli Squid stealing the show. If you're seeking both good food and a picturesque setting, this is the place to be. Just be prepared for a bit of patience during peak hours.

Unfortunately my experience was not good because despite the 45 minute wait which I forgave them for, the steak was not medium rare as requested and the zucchini and carrots and cauliflower were pretty much raw. The only thing that saved this dish was my hunger and the lovely gravy - which was extra $1

My friend and I went for lunch on a Monday it was so beautiful to look out over Swansea watching the fishermen enjoying their day.

The food was amazing, according to my friend. I definitely enjoyed my schnitzel. The staff made us feel very welcome well worth a visit
