Meals were tasty. A bit of a wait but that is because they were so busy and did have a sign up saying wait times.

Fantastic RSL with amazing views and great facilities. Food is really good too (but can be a bit of a wait at peak times) and they have a wide selection of drinks at the bar. The balcony has amazing views over the inlet and you can watch the Swansea bridge open to let larger vessels through. Highly recommended

I recently dined at Swansea RSL Oceans Brasserie, and overall, it was a delightful experience. Let me break it down:
1. Grilled Chilli Squid: ???' The Grilled Chilli Squid was an absolute winner! Tender, perfectly spiced, and bursting with that special grilled flavor. A definite highlight of the meal.
2. Almond Crusted Barramundi: ? Now, the Almond Crusted Barramundi didn't quite reach the same heights. I expected more from this dish. The almond crust provided a pleasant crunch, but the fish itself lacked that wow factor perhaps it was not as fresh as it could have been.
3. Ambiance and Views: ? Despite the 45-minute wait for our Sunday lunch, the breathtaking views of Swansea Channel made up for it. We gazed out at the shimmering waters, sailboats gliding by, and seabirds floating in the sky. It's hard to complain when you're surrounded by such natural beauty.
In summary, Swansea RSL Oceans Brasserie offers a delightful location for a pleasant weekend lunch, with the Grilled Chilli Squid stealing the show. If you're seeking both good food and a picturesque setting, this is the place to be. Just be prepared for a bit of patience during peak hours.

Unfortunately my experience was not good because despite the 45 minute wait which I forgave them for, the steak was not medium rare as requested and the zucchini and carrots and cauliflower were pretty much raw. The only thing that saved this dish was my hunger and the lovely gravy - which was extra $1

My friend and I went for lunch on a Monday it was so beautiful to look out over Swansea watching the fishermen enjoying their day.

The food was amazing, according to my friend. I definitely enjoyed my schnitzel. The staff made us feel very welcome well worth a visit

The view is fantastic, the service was also fantastic.
I had the seafood plate, overall it was great, everything was delicious except the prawn cutlets were a bit dry
Also the meal was far too large, couldn't eat the chips or salad, just wasted food.
Maybe a smaller version at a cheaper price could be offered - 2 oysters because they were delicious, 3 fresh prawns because they were also delicious, 1 piece fish, 2 calamari and 2 prawn cutlets
Also a finger bowl or wet wipes due to peeling the prawns would be good

This RSL is in a fantastic location with amazing views and the food is incredible! 2nd time here and still surprised by how awesome it is!

We stopped here on a Thursday evening. Great place to stop for a meal on the drive back home. Very popular so be prepared to stand in line, but the wait is worth it and the prices are OK.

Great food, awesome atmosphere, great value for money and support given to our senior members with a menu just for them. Easy access for disabilities too.

It is such a nice environment for young and old! Lovely atmosphere for a celebration.
Nice selection of food to choose from while you sit and watch the water if you want to.

There's an area for children to play safely and you can sit and watch them.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and keep your area very clean and tidy.

Great view sitting eating your dinner or lunch, watching the boats, people fishing jetskiers and the food is pretty good, pensioners get a good discount. Lovely club very spacious, does get quite busy but plenty of room, upstairs downstairs. Staff are friendly.

Extremely disappointed in the lunch we were served. Everything except the chips were overcooked oily and dry fish. If your not interested in nice tasty food by all means stand in line for 45 mins than wait over an hour to be disappointed. Swansea RSL u should be ashamed of yourselves. We took our food back to me offered a piece of cake for our sufferance. We declined incase that disappointing. Sorry but no thanks.

The dining experience here is very good.
The meals are tasty and well portioned.

The coffee is wonderful and the cakes are delicious.

The view from the dining room can be interesting, looking at "Swansea Channel" and during the day there can be quite some activity on and, around the water.

Swansea bridge is interesting to watch when it opens and closes - allowing sea vessels (that are too tall to fit under the bridge) to motor thru the channel whilst you're sitting in the Club.

The dining area is clean, the staff are well trained and very efficient.

Lactose free milk is available for anyone who may prefer it. ?

Hidden gem. Been here before but they expanded and renovated a bit. Now it's a wonderful place to eat by the water..

Swansea rsl is very picturesque if you get the right seating .our meal was very nice curry prawns and rice and a senior chicken snittchel good value for money

Water views of Swansea channel while you eat are great. Food is very good at about $24 a meal for non members. Gets quite noisy in there though. Very happy with seating, staff, drinks food. Will defs be going back.

Excellent meals. Only matched by the views. Beer battered flathead was beautiful. Good idea to book a table. Great cafe as well, good selection of cakes.

The location right on the waters allowed diners to have a great view of the waters and going ons while enjoying their meal. Food choices was great and they even have a seniors meal selection. The steak was great. Nice and tender allowing my husband to enjoy his steak. My Sicilian pasta was tasteless, I think the chef forgot to season the dish. Had to add salt and pepper before it taste reasonable but it could be better.

Lovely setting, very busy on a sunday lunch. The staff and facility were very helpful in accommodation for my unwell friend with limited mobility.

Lunch was nice, albeit in haphazard club style. The seafood platters for one week to be the guiy for most as I saw dozens of them around me, and the normal schnitzel, steak, and fried options were hearty. One friend's steak came out way underdone from her desire, which I attribute to the extreme busyness of the kitchen at that time. I had the pork sirloin in creamy sauce with a very nice mash and steamed veg, and it was way better than I expected, and I will make the same at home.

Lovely club, nice atmosphere. Not too big. Best location overlooking Swansea waterway with expansive views. Great food. Good coffee. Disabled parking and access. Private rooms upstairs for functions.

The club is always a great place to visit. Friendly staff, the venue is beautiful with views over the lake and the food is good. It's a venue I can go to and eat anything I want because MSG isn't in the food.

I had the Salt and Pepper Calamari. Was a good serving size and salad was well dressed.
Kids had burgers and Pasta meals, and they were happy.
Grilled chicken with prawn sauce was a seniors meal, which was a great value option.

We had a huge shopping day and stopped in for an early dinner. Did not realise start time was 4.00pm which suited us well. All of the staff from the desk to bar & restaurant were extremely pleasant & our meal was perfect! A lovely relaxing end to a happy & busy " shopping day!"

A beautiful location to sit back, relax and enjoy everything this wonderful club has to offer. Spectacular views of the Swansea channel & bridge, delicious hot food and ice cold drinks. All at affordable prices too, except for the views, they are free.

Recently dropped in here for lunch. Pleasantly surprised with bright clean surrounds and quiet smoke-free dining area. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was impeccable and very tasty. No time to explore other areas but will definitely be back.

Only been here once on a Steak Dinner night. We had 5 steaks and we like our steaks rare and find many place overcook them, so it was a pleasant surprise to have them done to our specifications. I'd go with a higher rating but the mash was not great.

We were looking for somewhere to have lunch and stumbled on the Swansea RSL. Brilliant location beside the channel where the ocean meets the lake. Very good value lunch and lovely food. View was wonderful and staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

The location was is to die for! Right on the waters edge with boats and fishermen right outside the window.
