Located at 613 Great N Road, Abbotsford, New South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺. The Sydney Rowers Club was established in 1870 and was first located on the site of the famous Sydney Opera House. To get there by ferry you leave from Circular Quay and travel up the Parramatta River going under the Sydney Harbour Bridge and past Darling Harbour and Barangaroo, once you arrive at Abbotsford Ferry Wharf , it's a short 50m walk up the hill to the club. Or, you can drive there and there's very good parking facilities. The views of the water are stunning and there's great seating as well as a verandah to take advantage of these views. The bar offers champagne, cocktails, wines and craft beer. The staff were very friendly and accommodating to us. We are a social group including people with disabilities including people in wheelchairs and the staff were fantastic. The food at the Watergrill, the club's restaurant was very good but a little pricey, but that's to be expected in this area. Overall, our experience here was very pleasant and I would hesitate to recommend this little gem. Thumbs up 😀
