Taree Leagues Sports Club - Local Club in Taree New South Wales

I arrived at the venue with some friends for dinner and karaoke. We had a table booked and it was uncomfortably hot. I asked for the air conditioning to be turned on, and they said that it already was, so to make my friends more comfortable I opened the door to the veranda and propped it with a chair to let the cool breeze come through.
That was nice until the GM came over and closed it, saying that it was blowing the cold air out. He then proceeded to tell me that the a/c ducting wasn't fully connected yet, and he's been fighting with the contractor since August. It's now January!!! So we sat, sweltering and sweating.
Some other friends turned up at 8.45 all saying that they had booked the courtesy bus to be here at 7.30 and they were waiting for over an hour.
We were then informed that my friend's 11y.o. daughter had to be off the premises by 9, which cut our night short.
All in all, the Chinese food was average, and the meals came out at different times, with the garlic bread coming out last, and the management has to be the worst I've encountered for customer service and being hospitable.
I'm never going back there.

Friendly, pleasant atmosphere, a very straight fast pool table and the best sizzling steak (Chinese food) ever!

Haven't been back after joining up than at end the night won the membership draw than was told no sorry you can not have it because I had just joined what a joke and totally rules and regulation I googled it and put a formal complaint against them there's way more clubs better than that come around this area you guys not to go as you're in with the group you're an outcast

The Taree Leagues Sports Club is a fantastic spot! The staff are incredibly friendly and always make you feel welcome. The new Chinese restaurant on site is an absolute gem - the dishes are mouth-watering and full of flavor. It's quickly become our go-to spot for a great meal and a good time. Highly recommend checking it out!

We wanted a quick bite to eat whilst staying a night in Taree on our way home from QLD and found the League's Club nearby our motel. We are travelling with our 9 month old daughter so wanted to be in and out as soon as possible. We were greeted by the most wonderful and helpful lady at the door. She was so friendly and was interacting with our daughter and proceeded to show us where everything was including change tables etc. We then walked through to the main area and found a little table near the bistro and about 3 mins later the last from the front door came in and took us into the restaurant room where she said it was much cooler for our baby as it was a hot afternoon and proceeded to seat us at a table and carried over a highchair for us. The bistro food is Chinese and it was ordered and delivered to our table within 10 mins! So fast and really lovely food. We actually ended up cutting our visit short as our daughter had enough and they gave us take away containers to take our food home with us. Super friendly and helpful staff and yummy food.
